I generally dread going to any sort of packaging store due to the general negative vibes at such places. However, this location pleasantly surprised me. The three employees were all so upbeat and fun. I was able to get a form notarized and faxed at a fair price. I appreciate the service I received. I was there on Jan 30th, so kudos to the crew that was there at the end of the evening. Pro tip - they are open until 7, but when I called that afternoon, I was told they only notarize until 6:30. Maybe that was said just to deter those coming in super close to 7. Not sure, but I thought I would share that info. read more

Important! Please read! The customer service experience here is phenomenal! I've been coming here regularly to mail packages and they treat me so nice, are always happy and smiling and provide quick, reliable service. I was curious about the negative reviews and realized the bad reviews were under the old owner who retired. The new owners are a husband/wife team which has overhauled the store to a very pleasant place to be and even have opened the UPS store on Sundays. I've had pretty heavy packages lately and they even come out to my car and bring them into the store for me. Many new services are provided under the new owners so be sure to check that out, too, because it is not just a mailing out packages store. This location is the BEST. I had 24 packages I had to return to Amazon I wanted to cry lol. Don helped me through the whole process, he walked to my car and took all the boxes in for me and went through each order one by one to make sure everything was returned properly because I made a few mistakes. I had a return for Kohl's and he gave me the number to call to switch it to ups so I didn't have to carry the heavy box through another store. I called this store in advance to ask a question about returning or refusing an unopened package and employee Kelly gave me specific directions and told me to come in. She was genuinely kind and easy to talk to. So, I follow those directions and the next morning, went in. I was taken by owner, Jim and it's was the coldest, oddest interaction. I was like "maybe he's going through some stuff.. it's been a year". But after I asked if Kelly was there he said no. I told him what she directed me to and he lost his composure say "well I don't know why she would direct you to do that, I'll talk with her". It was not like "shoot, let's make this right or sorry for the inconvenience". It didn't feel like I mattered at all as a customer. Oh and he answered a phone call in mid sentence with me, not even apologizing for doing so. He then said if he took my package, he was liable and there was no where to store it. Hmm.. ok. He sent me off with a customer service number telling me to call Corp and ask to schedule a delivery driver for pickup. (Seems like a waste of UPS resources if you ask me). I was standing there, willing to hand it over with no labor involved by UPS. Anyways, my gut told me to try another UPS and I did. They gladly took it, slapped a return to sender label on it and told me my tracking number would work for the return. It did, the website showed me it's on its way and I'm glad Kelly was honest upfront that I could get this done and that my NEW ups branch will help me in the future. Again.... What an odd interaction with Jim. Still leaves me scratching my head. read more

I wish theres a 0 stars option. Im not comming back with the rudeness of this worker here at this location. To the fact he dont know what he is doing, that all he need is to verify that i am the person who wrote my name on this notary form and im submitting the right identification documents. He is asking that he should be "filling out" my l9 form which is i dont need a preparer for this all i need is to verify my identity which is i gave him 2 forms identification and would come out from his mouth that "this is bullshit" and he never have done this. Well not all notary public is about cases to the court, sometimes its just identity verification. read more

This is the closest location for me so it's my go to. However, every time I go the workers are rude. You can hear the attitude in their voices and if you are uncertain about something, they don't try to help. Instead they make you feel dumb about it. They can definitely improve their customer service. No good. If you don't like your job then find another. There's no need for attitude when none is given to you. read more

One of the worse customer service experiences I've ever had. I called to ask about two packages of mine that had been delivered that hadn't shown up, and pulled the phone away and said "why can't he just look it up online..." then proceeded to deny doing so haha. It was literally like something out of a bad movie...I would highly recommend dealing with any other shipper in the area in the area if you have the opportunity. Th only time that I have had a good experience here is when the man that I presume is the owner is not there. The employees are friendly but the owner is rude to those dropping off prepaid UPS packages, despite being required by UPS to accept them. I'm sorry, but you get the franchise and you have to be part of the UPS network. When I have arrived exactly 1 minute prior to the opening time of the store, he will pretend he doesn't see you standing at the door waiting in the cold and go about his business. Once upon a time they were a Mail Boxes etc, but now they area UPS Store and the service is still great. While this UPS Store is a bit smaller than some of the other locations, I find that they have a very personalized attitude. Jim (the owner) remembers his customer's names special requests, plus his staff is always really helpful when you are in a rush. It's a nice little place for people living on the N.W. side to go for their shipping and packaging needs. I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I was personally scared to drop my packages off here because of the complaints about service. However it's one of the closet places to me so I went anyway, I'm happy I did. I was immediately helped without asking. Jim helped me pick out two package parcels, which were cheaper and better fitting than what I originally picked up. He prepared the shipping labels and gave me return receipts promptly.
