I frequently have to have packages redirected to this UPS store. They are always wonderful when I come in. These packages are heavy and can be cumbersome and they never complain. The owner overcharges for almost everything -- even for supplies that UPS provides for free. Charging $1 just to tape a package is ridiculous when most other locations do it at no cost. They seem to add extra fees wherever they can. On top of that, the lady owner and her husband are extremely rude and unprofessional. The overall customer service experience was disappointing and felt very unwelcoming. If you have another UPS location nearby, I strongly recommend going there instead. I started using the store for Amazon returns. The experience was very positive. My order was handled and I received my credits on a timely basis. Then I expanded by shipping my packages through UPS rather than USPS. The pricing is reasonable, in some cases less expensive. The best part is my packages are arriving as promised. My sister came in to have 39 pages copied and notarized. ( $15 a page for the notary. That's a significant sale. ) It was a lengthy project and she was in this store for quite a while. There was no one else in the store or waiting outside. She was the ONLY customer. Apparently, the lady in charge was very upset about the length of time this took. She actually yelled at my sister (in town from Az) and told her to leave. My daughter was along and said, "The clerk shouted at Stacie." This is unheard of; I've lived in Streamwood for over 30 years and haven't come across screaming at a customer. This is just a head slapper, makes no sense. I didn't ask for her "feelings", I just needed my signature notarized. I called before I made the trip and was told they notarized for $15. I hope it's not my race that made her so rude to me. The employees there are rude. we went in for a notary service and was denied because the Indian lady was "uncomfortable" with the service. when asked "why?" she immediately shuts down the conversation with "I can't answer any questions. please leave and go somewhere else.". So I don't know why our document made her "feeel uncomfortable", it was a generic contract reviewed by a lawyer. I have come here 20-30 times to ship my items. But there will not be a 31st. I regret ever sending revenue to this store. I had planned to print labels but I was having trouble. After spending no more than 10-15 minutes on the guest computer (that no one was using). She told me "You can't be taking this long you need to leave this store." The Indian lady in most of these bad reviews must be the business owner cause she's still working there. I went this morning to process a return and the customer service was absolutely HORRENDOUS. We were treated rudely and dismissed for her requesting some bar code in order to process a return that a QR code was provided. What's funny about this is this isn't the first time this lady has been rude to either myself or a family member but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. Today was the straw the camels back. I was in need of notary public services recently. When searching for options this UPS store came up. It is only a mile from my house so I went for it. I only had one simple piece of paper that required a single signature. I failed to ask in advance how much this would cost because I thought I was familiar with the usual rate for this service and expected maybe $2. The woman that notarized my document then informed me that it would be $10! I couldn't return the stamp that was already made on my document, so this put me in a tough position. We agreed that I would only pay $5. I won't be returning to this location if I ever need anything notarized again. read more

Instead she just stares back at you without answering your questions or just says "I can't answer any questions." When I told the the rep that I have a box there she said that I do not have one, I said "are you telling me that I am lying?" And she asked me to leave the store. The owner/manager should take some lessons in customer service. I went to use the computer (which no one was at) to print 2 pages and she proceeded to tell me I had to wait until she checked her email on the device first. Uhh you don't have a laptop or something for your own business? She couldn't have just waited 2 minutes for her paying customer to finish the job? No, I stepped aside then she proceeded to charge. $4.00 for the 3 minutes of my use and 2 printed pages.. Her employees are helpful enough but her overall attitude negates their professionalism. Plus, the sign on the door says masks required but I've never seen her wear a mask in the few I've gone in she is there. A little friendliness and care for customers time goes a long way in this type of business. Will go elsewhere for my printing/ faxing needs read more

Just went to this UPS location to use their computer to print a piece of paper and they charged me $2 to use the computer. One would think a place like this would charge for cost of printing paper vs use of a computer for literally a minute or two max. I mean come on! The local libraries charge .10 cents to print A PAGE and they don't charge customers to use their computers! read more

Avoid going to this location. Drive a few miles further and go to one of the other locations. I tried to ship a package with a prepaid label and asked the owner to verify when the estimated arrival date is when she heard that I needed it by a certain date she told me the estimated arrival date was two days later. She then told me in order to get it there by the date I was estimating, she charged me $100 versus the $15 prepaid label. when I went back to the store to dispute it, she wouldn't own the fact that she falsified the estimated arrival date. She then tried to blame me and asked why did I asked her to confirm the estimated date if I already knew it? Ridiculous customer service and frankly she upsold me on buying a $100 label when the package arrived. Fine with the prepaid label. I shipped the second package with the same type of prepaid label and it arrived as estimated on the date I was targeting. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

I ship constantly for my small business and have never had an issue shipping usps packages through UPS when needed. I went in today, since USPS is closed, to ship a pre-paid usps label. The lady inside refused to take my package and told me they don't offer that service. Keep in mind, I've done it at this location multiple times, and on UPS website, this location is listed for those services. Do not come here for notary services. We had a document to be notarized from our homeowner association but they didn't include our names. We had them resend the document, and she refused to notarize and said we did it ourselves. We showed her proof and she still refused. The next time we came to the store she rolled her eyes at us. Rather than offer me a piece of tape, the extraordinarily rude lady pointed to the sign on the counter that said Amazon returns had to be completely sealed and then actually said "don't you have any tape?" Seriously?? A locally owned UPS store without 12" of packing tape?? She went on to say that packages are supposed to be taped up before you bring them to the store. Her attitude was a display of total vitriol and hate for the store's customers. I went in today to pick up a package. I told them the name on the package and the address. The issue was that the package had something wrong with the address and was sent to that building for me to pick up, as it can't be delivered to my home. The woman at the desk immediately told me she hasn't seen my package in the building... there's tons of packages but ok. I told them my situation and asked for them to look. They spent 2 minutes looking in a room barely looking (which has the door wide open for people to go into) just to tell me it's not there. They tell me to come back tomorrow however I was notified it's in that building! Later that day my father goes in, and the package is there... wasted my time, his time; for barely looking at the packages. Also the woman had a quick attitude, like I didn't matter. My package that is worth more than $1,000 was in your building... I deserve more than 2 seconds of your time. The costumer service needs working on, and close your mail room door! read more

BEWARE of this store! Their business practice is to right off the bat charge you for UPS 2 or 3 day shipping which costs two to three times what you will pay for UPS Ground shipping.. I had my own 10 inch x 7 inch x 7 inch box, which weighed under 2 lbs. going to Oregon. I asked for no rush shipping. I was charged $33! I had left the store, I went back in, asked why it was so expensive and the owner said it was 3 day shipping. I said I had expressly asked for no rush, ground shipping and she then quoted $12. It was with the follow up caller -female- stating you MUST come into the site but also said home pick up was available. When I called back once I regained my composure - she once again answered and again prompted me toward google search, which would be fine hence my internet was working. UPS: The store, the corporate office and Corporate UPS never contacted me regarding my problem until just recently when they told me the case was closed because of time limits. I filed a report within the time frame.. but they sat on it even with my calling them for status. So now.... they just pulled the plug and said no. The Store, which has the control over your package and your claim, did not ever file the claim regardless of how many times he assured me that he sent the claim in to UPS.
