I love this place. Every time I need to fax anything to the government this is the place for me to do it. Returning phones and tv equipment they will do it for me and even box it. I came here at 4:15 on may 28th 2022 lol. Whoever was working at that time was so helpful!! I wish I got his name to give a proper shoutout. I had went to a DIFFERENT UPS prior to this and left in tears because of how the lady was treating me. I only had the return paper and the books I needed to return. This is how I've always done my returns I just pay a small fee for the box and I would leave. The guy working helped me figure out exactly what to do and he was so nice about it!! I've been a customer at this UPS location for over 20 years. This time of year, I'm shipping packages nearly everyday for my business. I can't afford to have any mistakes when shipping. I have not had one bad experience and I'm always confident the package that I am shipping will be well taken care of. Sterling is the best and has trained his staff to take as much pride as he does. I've since moved 20 minutes away and I go out of my way to go to this specific UPS. There are shipping stores much closer to me, I do not go anywhere but here. Thank you Sterling for always ensuring me that I have no worries with my shipments. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this store. Awhile back, I brought in 7 packages (all with prepaid labels) for returns to various stores (Macys, Amazon). Immediately, the man acted extremely annoyed as I began stacking them on the counter and couldn't believe how many I had. As he scanned each box, he read the name of the store and asked me what I could possibly be returning. When I didn't react or respond (because it wasn't any of his business, especially in that tone), he then asked me if I was afraid of being banned from these stores for excessive returns. I promptly took the remaining few boxes and left without a word. I went straight to the UPS on Schmale and was relieved when they accepted my packages without any commentary or attitude. I have not been back to the West Chicago store since this incident and I still get upset when I drive past it on my way to the Wheaton store all because they dont want to do their jobs. read more

I stopped into The UPS Store in West Chicago for the first time today. Even though I drive past it at least twice a day, five days a week. I never even noticed it was there. It is located in the back of a mostly empty shopping plaza, and not very visible from the street. I only found out about it after Google searching copy places near me (the Fed-Ex/Kinko's I usually go to was having a very hard day -- couldn't even make me 40 b&w copies, but that's a different story for a different review). I am so glad I know about this UPS store now. I called ahead to check pricing and availability. The man who answered the phone, Jon, was very friendly, answered all my questions, and invited me to come on in. As soon as I walked in, Jon greeted me with a smile. There was a blonde woman working as well, whose name I didn't catch (sorry!), who was also extremely pleasant. Jon even went out of his way to use white-out on my original where there was some writing I didn't want copied. The white-out covered some of the lines, so he went and got a ruler and a pen and drew me some more perfectly straight lines!! He did a test copy to make sure I was happy, and then made the rest of my copies. All of this for someone who was spending a grand total of $4.00!! That, in my book, is customer service that goes above and beyond. I need copy and printing services fairly often for my work, and this is DEFINITELY my new go-to print shop. Those of you who drive past 59 & North Ave everyday and don't realize this great little print/mailing shop is back here, take a closer look. It's worth finding. NOTE: The UPS stores are not owned or supevised by UPS (united parcel service) but an independant company. I went to the store and mailed a smart key for a car from the store and the recipient did not receive it nor arrived at the destination. The owner (who seems like a nice guy) was unable to advocate on my behalf with the post office to find the lost package,. I called customer serviice for ups store, they said there was nothing they could do, and was rude. GREG read more

Always good service, every time we ship from UPS Store in West Chicago! Over the weekend, I had a package to ship back to AT&T. They said to drop it off at a UPS Store & that the employees there would know what to do with it. Just as I walked into the store on Saturday, I got a text from my daughter saying she & her friends were ready to be picked up earlier than expected. The man at the UPS store took my package anyway, even though I had to leave before he could pack it up & label it.
