I debated on writing this review all afternoon, but I waited until I cooled off some. I went to this store today to do an Amazon return. I personally never done a return with UPS before, and I even told the guy this. Apparently I clicked the wrong button for the return item as I didn't have the original packaging. No big deal, I canceled the return and resubmitted under the correct one. Apparently I had to print it out in order to do it, it's still free per Amazon's information. I just needed to buy a return envelope, no big deal. I ask the guy behind the counter if he's able to scan it, and print out the label for the return. He said I would have to print it out, and come back. So I get back into the car, told my mom what happened. Super odd, because they normally print out the shipping labels. So my mom ran into a local business that she does business with - they were nice enough to print out the labels for me. So we went back inside UPS, again - not aware really what to do as everywhere else has a different policy with Amazon returns. My mom, who is a senior by the way, questioned the man about printing out the return label for me as they normally do it for her. The guy got so fresh with a rude attitude saying, "your daughter could have read the sign that is directly behind her!" I then said the following - "if the customer is looking at the employee during check out, do you think they will be able to read signs that are on the back wall behind them at checkout? Shouldn't the sign be on the wall behind YOU, or perhaps you should have stated 'I could print it out for you if you would like for a small fee?'" But instead he gave extreme aggressive attitude towards my mother, and I after my remark/suggestion. I then asked if the Store Manager was available, because at this point... I bit my tongue on what I really wanted to tell this little boy that's in a man's body. Apparently, he is the store manager. So anyone who is reading this, save your money and go to a different location. This guy is the biggest jackass I have ever met in my life who has absolutely zero customer service skills, and the way he treats the elderly. Forget it! I almost lost my shit on him. read more

This really disturbs me, when people get into business and show one set of people better respect and services than another. Every time I go into this UPS store corner of Geneva Rd in Wheaton I know it's owned by an Indian man if he sees me he would turn around. When a white person comes in the store before me he would serve them. This is some thing that I have seen for years, how could you come from another country just like I did and discrimination against me because I'm black. That's a very bad habit that I've seen with other cultures as well so the only reason I'm given three stars is because of the other workers they are very nice people read more

It's time I wrote a review! After more than two years of pick ups and drop offs 2-3 times each week, I haven't had a single negative experience from the people or the service. That's saying something. They can be busy at times and you may have a wait a few moments, but when it is your turn, you will find that they are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I have never encountered a more inept business that this one. First off, they don't have a working phone, and when I let them know that I have been trying to call the store to check on a package, the reply was, "I just get static on the phone when I pick it up" Ya, do you think you should get a new phone! I called another local UPS store and they said that they have had tons of people complain that they never answer the phone. Maybe they don't want/need any new business. Oh, and that is not all. I was lied to about a pick up time for my package. That is a long story, and I will post that in another review since there has been more than one issues with this store. My advise? NEVER use this store if you are shipping a package you care about getting there at the time you intend. read more

The former owner was so nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm not sure who owns it now but the older man who works there is just awful. He has a nasty attitude all of the time and literally took a package from me and threw it on the floor. When I questioned whether it should have been thrown on randomly on the floor, he picked it up, looked at it, threw it back down on the floor and mumbled it would be fine. So much for taking care of my packages with care. I'm now very hesitant to ship from that location. read more

Very clean, good location and great service! I had a huge box that was a bit heavy so ran in to see if I could bring it in before I lugged it in there to maybe be told no. The young man working, Jack, actually followed me to get the box. He carried it in for me & quickly gave me receipt for the pre-labeled shipment. It was that easy! I even bought a card while there as I needed one for a birthday party that afternoon so it was a one stop shop for me! Thank you! read more

I don't normally write reviews, buI had one of the WORST experiences of my life at this store. If I could give negative stars I would. I went in to drop off a package on the counter. It already had the postage label on it so I didn't need anything. Apparently the guy that owns the place thought I needed to have a conversation with him, because he FLIPPED OUT. He threw my package on the floor -- NO JOKE. There was an expensive speaker inside too. I had to call the police, but of course they couldn't do anything. I found out later that when the package arrived at its destination, there was a huge hole in the box and the speaker was damaged. It looked like someone had shoved a screw driver into the box and into the speaker cabinet. I had to go to go through a big ordeal with insurance and give the buyer his money back. MORAL OF THE STORY: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO HERE. That guy that runs it is clearly out of his mind and there's no telling what will happen to a package you drop off. Run fast from this location I have been a customer for 4 yrs the last 2 with the new Franchise owner have been hell The franchise owners let their son run this store. Hopefully they don't have other location In their son's Sunny command this is what happens at this location 1) store opens will they feel the need to make some money This can mean not opening on days posted open or at correct times and missing deliveries and postal carrier I have seen this happen a lot. I only pick up my mail 1 x weekly and have seen notices posted on the door from UPS, Fed Ex and the Us Post stating attempted delivery. The notices sometimes were from prior days meaning they haven't been open in awhile If you were hoping for a delivery you would not get it till the decided to open. 2) no phone service guess they don't like being on the phone y waste the money having one if ur not going to use it They never answer the phone or return phone calls or reply to voicemail messages One time I even questioned them on this They said they always answer the phone So I tested them I called them while I was getting my mail. Sunny the owners son just kept staring out the window while the phone rang. As I was leaving I said your phone was ringing is everything ok he replied yes 3) customer service They will lie to you and tell you they are going to do something as simple as sending out a package the same day Mine did not ever go out till I had to go in and ask them what happened my package was not received yet Sunny's reply "I will get it out today" it's was a week later No apology or anything I can keep going on about my experience and this location but I think you got a good idea what happens here in this location I guess anyone can open a franchise with UPS as long as u have $32000 in liquid assets These people shouldn't be owning a franchise they are diminishing the values of UPS and tarnishing the brand read more

I had to get something shipped for work overnight, so my co-worker told me to go to this place to have it shipped. I went in the afternoon during the week, around 1, 2:00 and walked right in and got assisted immediately. The package needed to be shipped overnight to Michigan and ended up costing $9 and some cents, and arrived early the next day. Easy peasy...I will keep this in mind later for my shipping needs! read more

I went to USPS to send a package to Denmark so they told me they can not guarantee delivery to the destination because it is out side USA, so I took my package to the UPS store in Wheaten and I told him to send this package to Denmark and he took it and gave me the receipt ( for sure was more expensive than USPS but that is ok with me because I want the guarantee ) and then couple days later I found the tracking number that they gave me was from the USPS ... so that is mean those guys took the package at the UPS store and send it by the USPS and took the extra money !! it was a scam in legal way .. read more

No, they seldom have time to answer the phone, because they are working their ass off taking care of the paying customer at the counter. The receive my packages and boxes and help my small business look more professional. If I need to leave a package for one of my customers to will call, they can do it. Back in September I went to this UPS store to ship a watch back to the vendor I purchased from. I was not told that a signature would not be required, and I was not aware that the address was a residence (and not a business). After several days of the vendor telling me that they had not received the box, tracking information revealed that the UPS driver left the package on the front doorstop of a house in Brooklyn, NY at 8:30pm on 9/18/15. Is it any surprise the box was stolen off the doorstep? After filing an investigation and providing the owner (Sonny Patel) with copy of the watch receipt, and a link to the watch online, I was told that an insurance claim had been filed. I have been trying to follow up with Mr. Patel for more than 3 months. He does not return my calls/emails or notes I have left with this staff at the UPS store location. I do not appreciate being lied to or having to spend countless hours trying to follow up on this issue. I would not use this UPS store unless you want to get bad service and want to be lied to. read more
