This place is a blessing in disguise. I never really appreciated this place when it first opened up across the street from my house. I would never realize what a convenience it has been to simply walk in and drop off my packages on my way home from work. It doesn't' hurt too that it is right next door to Starbucks where I can pick up my daily coffee. Anyways, this UPS Store is located in a very small shopping strip in Streamwood and the place is very small. They sell allot of packaging materials like boxes and tapes. Every time I have come here to drop off a package, there has only been one person working. The staff has always been very nice and cordial, even though I have come here right at closing and they always have a smile on their face. I wish I could say the same for the people that work across the street at CVS. Overall, I am very satisfied that this place opened up so close to my house. The only other UPS location that I had to go to was located all the way north of where I lived about a 30 minutes drive. read more

Tonight, I arrived approximately 10 minutes before the posted closing time and was waved off dismissively by an employee who stated they were closing. When I asked for clarification, I was first told they were 'closing,' but after mentioning there was still time remaining according to the posted hours, I was then told they were already closed. As I walked away, staff continued speaking among themselves and laughing, which felt disrespectful. Customers should not feel dismissed or unwelcome during posted business hours. Wednesday, April 2022 - Between 2 PM - 2:20 PM I come here all the time, and I always receive excellent service. My visit today was very disappointing. Rose is the most unprofessional associate I've had the displeasure of working with at this location. She was gossiping with someone using her phone and ignored her co-worker and me calling her. Her co-worker and I called her twice while she was on her phone. She finally came over (not hanging up) and tried helping me while on the phone. It felt awkward, so she finally hung up the phone apologizing to her friend but not to the customer... Rose needs customer service training asap! As services are readily available everywhere, customer service needs to be a highly focused area to retain customers. She also needs policy & operations training. She was going to charge me for a USPS envelope drop-off because she couldn't scan it. I took it to USPS, and they said no scan was needed. This is totally not what happened. I told you I had priced material already, but you basically insisted you could get a better price. We left it that you would provide an estimate including the paper. So when you provided the estimate, it was my understanding it included there paper since that's what we talked about. AND just because there was a misunderstanding, you don't just send me away to another store. That's terrible customer service. You should have at the very least, offered to provide the estimate you told me you were giving me in the first place. I have since completed my project through Staples for almost half the price including the paper. I won't be using this location again. read more

I am giving this store the lowest score ever. I actually do not even want to give them any star. They suck on Customer service. I made an appointment for Notary 2x and nobody even dared to call me to confirm. The day of the appointment they said the Notary was out of town. They claim that Notary is by appointment on weekends so I made an appointment way in advance for a weekend. But it doesn't work like that. I spoke to Alex H. and he is a liar! I brought my USPS package here to send out because I had UPS packages to send out along with it. I told the guy the postage was already paid for and that it was for USPS (which they always will take anyway). He gave me a dirty look and said, "uhh, this is a United States POST OFFICE package..." I'm not dumb, I clearly already knew that. I was just telling him that to let him know. They were able to send out the package, so i'm not so sure why the employee was giving me an attitude. ***Also, this is the only UPS Store that charges $1 to send out USPS packages. $1 isn't alot, but at a different UPS Store, the employee said they're not allowed to charge for that. So beware of sending out your USPS packages at this location. read more

I have been in the store a few times in the last few months and have always asked where Chris was. I am always told that she was off on that particular day. Come to find out when I saw Chris in a restaurant that she doesn't work there anymore. She was told to not come to work while other employees were training and that went on for months. Chris was the best thing that ever happened to this store. I thought she was the Owner because she was always working hard and quite pleasant. She was always there. The customer service lately is lacking and the person whose picture is on this Yelp page is just rude. The last time I was in the store she was having an argument with another customer who was complaining about a claim and the lack of response. They still have Chris' business cards on the counter like she still works there. Why would I continue to give this store business when they lie to you about an excellent employee who they obviously want people to think she still works there? No employee was visable when I first came in, but a guy sauntered in from some unkown backroom. I have been a customer here for over 7 years and I even have a box here. The store is clean, service is amazing, and I've never had any issues. I've visited other UPS stores in the past, and they pale in comparison to this one. Most of them are pretty gross and don't care about your packages or you at all. Tony, the owner and manager, is the nicest most gracious person and always has a smile and kind words every time I walk in. I cannot say enough good things about this place. This place is so much more than a place to ship packages. They have a notary, paper recycling, mailboxes, copying, custom packing and so much more. It is great to have the ability to email things that need printing and having them ready when I get there. I have seen them wrap and back bikes, large custom artwork and heavy auto parts. Every person I have ever met there raves on how great they pack items. The store acts like it is their own personal stuff being shipped. What is really priceless is how the new store owner, Tony, truly cares about his customers. This filters down to the employees who are open and friendly, often getting to know customers by name. I have had nothing but great service at this place every time I have been in there. Staff are friendly and eager to help with questions on shipping, and which is more cost effective. The owner will go out of his way to notarize your documents, which he did for me in an emergency situation where time constraints were my issue (court docs that had to be filed within 30 days or else I would have lost my court case and of course, I was on day 29) Tony, the owner, came through for me and so kind about the situation as I apologized for my delay, which then became an emergency. Customer service is exceptional in my book, and will continue use them for all my copying and shipping needs. read more

I wish I could agree with Glenn R, but unfortunately, I have been disappointed several times at this store and I am finally done. I have attempted to use them for printing professional looking presentations, and I was successful there once. Each time since, there has been something else. Our printer is down. Our computer is down. We no longer print documents from flash drives, you'll have to email us. Our manager is not here and he is the only one who can access the email, so you can't get your printouts until he is back. I've shipped here and that has worked out fine, but if you need document services, go somewhere else. read more

I called to inquire about their Notary service and asked if the person would be available on Saturday. Was told yes and to stop by at noon. So I did. The person was not there. The young man working there texted the man to see if he was going to come in. I waited patiently for 10 minutes. The man texted to come back in 35 mins. So I did. Again, not there. I expressed my displeasure to the employee and was oblivious to the fact they were both being unprofessional. And then he said...You know, there are many other places where you can get this done.
