Lovely atmosphere, cozy and clean, friendly with delicious creative food and drinks and we have fallen in love with the owners Lisa and Danny. Sometimes their lovely daughter Breanna will be on hand to serve you. It is a perfect brunch spot with great egg dishes, waffles, pancakes, French toast, and other savory offerings. The ricotta pancakes are amazing! Their scones and muffins are also winners. They are victims of their own success. It can be a long wait but do use their 30 minute call ahead process. Don't believe the bad reviews as they are just haters. They are unhappy when they can't get a table. Why are people like this? I absolutely recommend this wonderful family owned business. The service was amazing. Owners Lisa and Hubby came to our table multiple times to ensure we were ok and enjoying the food. Daughter, Bri, was our server and she was as sweet and attentive as could be. The coffee flight and the broccoli and cheese soup is a MUST have! Service was great and the decor is charming yet modern. There are so many fun drink choices and the menu is extensive, the hardest part was choosing what to order! The presentation was great and our party enjoyed their food, the chicken was slightly overcooked and dry but the biscuits were moist and delicious and balanced that out a bit. We were so excited to go to this place based on the social media pictures/ videos we have seen. If only it tasted as good as it looked. Pancakes were dry, so ask for extra syrup. Only order the bacon if you like jerky. The only reason I'm putting 2 stars is because of how appealing they make the food look. If you were going to just take pictures of your food it's a good place to go, but if you're hungry I don't recommend it. We met two friends to celebrate the New Year and could not have been more surprised by this wonderful eatery that they had recommended for brunch! While the parking may hard to find (not the restaurant's fault), the staff was welcoming and the service was very good. The food was excellent!!! Best brunch food we have had in a while. It's modest decor allows you to focus on the friends you are with and, of course, the food. We shared a monkey bread special appetizer and it was so good that we expected that the meal to follow would also be delicious and we were not disappointed. My loaded hashbrowns were a wonderful mix of scrambled eggs, bacon and scallions. Others had the eggs benedict, the creole shrimp benedict and the nutella stuffed french toast. Love this charming gem of a restaurant! I had the most delicious brunch recently and tried something new on the menu - the Mediterranean omelet. It did not disappoint - each bite was a delight! My friend and I, (she ordered the same thing) savored each morsel. The coffee was hot and delicious! The owner, Lisa, is a doll! She came over to chat with us several times to make sure everything was fine. It was not fine, it was magnificent! Our server, Valerie, took great care of us, too, and also made sure our dining experience was stellar. While we dined, we watched platter after platter of the most delicious looking cookies fly out the door! I decided to order some platters of my own. I picked them up and they are absolutely beautiful! I am certain they will be a hit with family and friends. Before forewarned that if you go during a very busy time, the wait is quite long. The food was good. It appeared to be made with care. we did feel a bit rushed as we could see how many people were waiting and the wait staff seemed a little frazzled. Came here with my husband and two kids for birthday brunch this morning. We were seated inside, but it was too loud for my youngest, so we asked to move outside. We were sat at a table that was on an incline; two other tables had reserved signs and the last table was filled by a family. When we got to the new table, the owner came out confused that we had moved, even though my husband spoke directly to her, that our service would be interrupted and she wanted to make sure that we were taken care of. My kids got up with my husband to use the bathroom and the server checked on me to see if there were any questions about the menu- she answered and was kind and helpful. A bit later when my daughter spilled her hot chocolate on her white dress, I went inside for napkins and silverware as the tables outside were bare. I asked the busboy if it was cool that I grab 4 settings because we were without - he said yes. Later as the table wobbled more, I stood up to move us to the cleared table (the family had left) and the owner came out clearly upset - we showed her the wobbly table and she said that she could simply fix it - we said ok thanks, great -- but she couldn't. She then told us that we were 'difficult to serve' which shocked us because I guess so but maybe your outdoor seating should be level?! The owner said that my asking for silverware had her server in tears and that it was 'very difficult to get them back on track' afterwards. I apologized for everything -- not really sure how my needing silverware would make someone cry but we left. Also, I asked a busboy if it was cool to grab 4 place settings because we didn't have any-later I was told I made a female server cry. Since we had been sitting outside surrounded by two tables with reserved signs, I asked the owner about this because we had called ahead to add our name to the waitlist and were told 'they didn't do that' which makes no sense because tables were clearly reserved. The owner couldn't give us a clear or logical answer. She seems WAY in over her head. If the owner can't manage the stress of Sunday brunch, why is she in the game? There wasn't even a wait and many open tables when we were there. Just weird. Frankly disgusted by her behavior-turning away a family. Great food but Warning! Very unethical ! They charge 20% guaranteed tip without anything in writing on menu or anywhere else posted. What's worse is that the receipt has a place for a tip and suggested amounts. Great way to rip off the public by customers tipping twice and having no clue that the owner is doing this to her customers. This is THE find of 2022 for me thus far. My SO and I met up with a friend from Ossining, so I had previously checked out places for us to eat brunch. The Tasty Table looked promising and like it would be worth the lengthy drive for us. Obviously, the weekends are going to be busy, so we waited outside for our indoor table to be ready. There are a few tables available for outdoor dining, but it was just way too hot for us. I believe it was the owner, Lisa, who was helping with table orders, as well as getting everyone into seats. She was like a tornado and made sure to help everyone that entered the restaurant. I kicked off with a mimosa flight and I liked that there were several flavor options to choose from. My friend and I each opted for a sangria, we loved that they came with an ice pop inside of the glass; the red sangria was delicious and refreshing with hints of warm spiciness. Now, let me say that I was absolutely blown away by the food. The presentation, the flavors, and the quality, it all worked together to make this an amazing dining experience. I had a delicious breakfast pizza and I was nearly crying with joy at the fact that I was taking leftovers home. Was really excited about this place but it was a bit of a let down. The interior is nice and cozy and wait staff is kind; the owner even came by to check on us. But only had the food we ordered was good and the rest was either awful or subpar. The broccoli cheddar was actually inedible and chalky, and the eggs Benedict, shakshuka, and chicken wrap were nothing special. The crispy chicken salad was the only thing I really enjoyed. I've always enjoyed this place for breakfast (highly recommend the avocado toast) and recently hosted a party here. The owner was helpful and accommodating during the planning. The event itself was wonderful. It was a fairly large party and the staff was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. The owner is quite rude. Food is ok, nothing crazy to write home about. Took almost 20 minutes for drinks to come out, our food order wasn't even taken at that point yet. And after reading through the reviews, we are not the only ones with a poor experience. Lisa needs to take a look at herself and realize she's going to bury her own business soon with her nasty attitude. ETA- Instead of perhaps taking the critiques given (I've seen an ample amount going through all these reviews) and striving to be better, you become a keyboard warrior and strike back with an attitude. All negative reviews point to your attitude, btw. If 90 minutes is all that's allotted (small writing on a sign, super helpful), maybe your humans should reiterate that politely in the beginning and handle the beverages and food orders a little quicker. Not to mention if people are physically in the middle of eating their meal, perhaps read the room and think to yourself "is now the time to ask them to leave?". You know why ihop is a successful business for such entitled customers such as myself? Because they put their customers first, and learn from mistakes. I really wanted to like this place. It has great reviews and is a cute and quaint little restaurant. The good: Ambience- a cute,well decorated space. Very bright and airy with outdoor seating. Bathroom - was cute and clean even had hair ties and tampons. Menu- lots of options even for gluten free. There was a specials board and it was hard to chooose what to order because so much looked good. The bad: The waitstaff was very young and inexperienced. Our menus were never removed from the table. Our server was sweet but failed to check on our table or clear things away. The food -over promised and under delivered. Nutella French toast was dry. chicken caprese was bland and also dry. Fries were cold. There was no discernible trace of ricotta or lemon in the 'lemon ricotta pancakes'. They were fluffy and warm but no flavor. Breakfast pizza sounded amazing but was presented with bacon bits and whole cherry tomatoes instead of tomato confit and applewood bacon. The ugly: The manager came to ask how things were. When we stated that the fries were cold and we sent them back she huffed "is that all" and walked away. We witnessed her being gruff and mean to the young waitstaff which surely didn't make them perform better. She barked orders and we saw her rush other customers. read more
