This is such a cute little place!! We arrived around 11:15 on a Sunday, greeted warmly by the hostess, was advised it was up to a 40 minute wait, but could be sooner. They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.
We arrived here around 12:30pm, I anticipated a wait due to the holiday (Juneteenth). We were told no more than 20 mins. We do notice two empty tables outside but understood that maybe they don't want to seat people and overwhelm the kitchen. After about 10 mins of waiting we're offered one of the tables that had been empty. (Which were outside). No menus given but we noticed the QR codes. Guy comes by and drops off cups w ice and a carat of water. Waiting... waiting.... Finally another server comes and asks if we'd like to order drinks. Yes, and our meals bc we've been sitting here for quite some time. We get our coffees and there's a lot of grinds at the bottom of the cups, server switches it out. We finally get our food and two of the three meals were not hot, not even warm. But we're hungry and eat but when the server checks in my sister says "honestly for as long as we waited we would've expected hotter food, these two (egg dishes) are cold." He apologizes and says he'll let the manager know. The manager, who I can only assume is Lisa (based on the responses I'm seeing here on Yelp) came out and said I hear the food is cold? And was very aggressive right off the bat. Saying everything comes right out of the kitchen and to the table, we don't have heat lamps. Offers to "reheat" the food (but how, the microwave?) we're already half way thru the dishes as we had waited a long time. My sister tried to express that after waiting for a table, service and grounds in the coffee that this was disappointing - the manager interjects w "well did you tell him did he give you a new one" She does NOT take criticism very well, she's abrasive and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. She then came out (after I assume finding out the whole story and how long we had been there) she said she would take the two items off the bill, which we weren't gunning for. As we just gave honest feedback when asked how everything was. We then noticed her come and check in on the other tables outside bc people who got there well after us also got their food at the same time... As much as I'd want to come back and try it again bc the promise is there. The manager was such a turn off, that I would be spending my money there, again.
This place is very small but the food is amazing. Parking ( a bit of a headache ).. they have a lot but no parking. The wait time to be seated is a bit too much; too long. Will I return.. I will in hopes that the sitting is better arranged. Between those two dishes/ a can Soda and a Lemonade.. bill was $57.
very cool and creative drinks and food. place is a gold mine. hard to get in. small inside but when you get your food it all makes sense. waffles , omelets, flights. all great. all different flavor coffees. coffee isn't strong enough for me but still good. prices are high and a long wait. parking if tough too. but it's definitely worth the wait.
Me and my friends finally made it here after talking about it for a while, and it didn't disappoint. We knew that they didn't take reservations in advance and that there would likely be a wait for Sunday brunch (even on a freezing day). One of my friends got there before me, and put her name down with the wait being about an hour. As a note, they have no waiting area inside the restaurant, so if you come, be prepared to wait in your car (or outside in the nice weather) until you get a text message. The restaurant itself is very cute and comfortable, but quite small with a handful of bar seats and maybe 10 tables. Once we were seated, we were able to order right away and our server was great. We ordered a number of things including the cinnamon roll flight to share, the avocado toast, the shrimp Benedict and the chicken and waffles for our entrees. My friends ordered the mimosa flight and I ordered the pear spritz mimosa. The cinnamon roll flight was very good, but very sweet and easily shareable between 3-4 people. The entrees were all good, though my friend commented that her shrimp were quite salty. The drinks were okay, but nothing to write home about. I'd come back here again!
Great service, great food, and a menu that clearly understood the assignment. The specials are creative, unique, and delicious. Yes, it's a small place, and yes, you will probably wait at least 25 minutes but trust me, you'll forget all about that once the food hits the table. Do yourself a favor and order the cinnamon bun flight, hot coffee flight, huevos rancheros, and the Nutella French toast (or honestly... just order everything). If you haven't gone yet, stop scrolling Yelp and go eat here.
Went for brunch on a Sunday. Expected a long wait but only waited maybe 10 minutes. Food was good, albeit a bit heavy. Had the eggs Benedict which were good but the biscuit was a lot. I did like that it was served with greens as well as potatoes. Had a pomegranate mimosa to go with it. Our server was good. Would have like to have been offered water without needing to ask for it. Like the cute and cozy atmosphere and it wasn't overly loud. Would definitely try again.
This is a very cute and fun way to spend my morning with my best friend. This place does not offer reservations only for dinner so keep that in mind. My best friend and I arrived at 12pm on a Friday and had a 20 minute wait. The wait was worth it as the food was amazing ! We each ordered a mimosa flight (passion fruit, lavender, Cotton candy (our favorite) and orange. We also ordered the empanadas for appetizers they were freshly made and good. The steak and eggs with potatoes was amazing no complaints. My best friend had a steak Cesar salad with sweet potatoes fries which we loved. My only reason for four stars is the wait, lack of reservations availability and the service was a bit slow but makes sense as it was packed and overwhelming. I would like to return one day to try their dinner menu!
Really good food, but pricey. $75 for 1 drink and one coffee for two people. It's really good and you get what you pay for, but I'd like to see more bang for my buck. The servings are generous the advice is excellent. I loved the atmosphere, bunny 4 stars because my frugal butt wants a deal.
Small cute bar and restaurant. We ventured here to try their brunch. The restaurant opens at 9am and we arrived at 9:04am and the place was almost full to capacity. I was wondering how many people were lined up at the door waiting. This was definitely a good sign. We started off with the make your own mimosa. Even though it was 9am here it was 5pm somewhere else so we ordered the bottle. They came out with a brut cava we were surprised and happy. We preceded to order our entrees and it was hard to narrow it down but we did. French toast, Chicken sausage, home fries and a brunch burger. Awesome choices, we were very pleased. The wait staff was very pleasant and moving quickly because there was a wait list. The rest room was immaculate - no complaints. Tasty Tables is worth the trip and we will be back.
Fast, kind service! Food was delicious and fresh. Didn't get a picture of the hash brown dish we got but it was our favorite! If you're getting the cinnamon roll flight note that they are not mini rolls so plenty to share! Coffee flight was a tad expensive in my opinion as the cups are small. Will definitely be returning to try the mimosa flight! Thanks for a lovely breakfast!
We brave the snow and ice so we had an opportunity to sneak in here without our little one! We sat at the counter, which was still just as lovely because we got to be served by Brianna! Her smile, her charm and her service level was exceptional! We went with some big classic dishes that were amazing and now we have some have lots of leftovers! Everything was delicious!

Update to my review - Based on the owners' response - I am changing my review to a 1. I initially gave it a 3. The owners' response is consistent with all of their posts. Lisa doesn't respond well to criticism. And cannot take feedback at all. Let me be clear.. the picture I posted on my story was of the drinks because in my post below, I said I enjoyed it. Additionally.. if you look at the chicken and waffles on their social media and compare it to my attached photo - it's a night and day difference. If this is cook-to-order and orders take a while, then we should have been made aware of that. I ate the "WHOLE THING" because I ordered it would never return food. And I didn't ask for a refund, she was generous and provided one. As I said below. I wish her and the restaurant the best. Original post: While the drinks and ambiance were nice, the food lacked taste and substance... I went to brunch with a friend. We ordered the coffee flight and mimosa flight to start. The coffee flight was good for my friend, as was the mimosa flight for me. Service was good; we had a few wait staff come to us to ask if we wanted to order, and we told them we did already... but also, the food took a while to come out. A few people came to us multiple times to tell us the food was on its way out. We ordered chicken and waffles and steak and eggs. Finally, when it did, my chicken was burnt... I guess that's the way they cook them? But it was also no flavor. The crispness of the chicken was good.. but it lacked flavor. The fries were also overcooked with no salt. My friend ordered steak and eggs, and his steak came out rare.. he asked for medium. We talked with the owner about our order, and she was very generous and refunded my chicken and waffles. While I wouldn't go back, I think it's a nice brunch spot for families and locals to enjoy. read more

I've been to The Tasty Table more than once, and each time I come back the food is excellent! There's so many unique and creative menu items to choose from. This time, I got the Southwest Chicken Salad and it was the best salad I've had. You can tell that everything is fresh. The serving size was amazing for the price, they really do give you a lot to eat. The service is always good, the staff is so friendly and the place itself just feels welcoming. I've really never had a bad experience here, can't wait to come back! read more

Have been following this establishment for a while now on Instagram & I finally checked them out. It's a 46-minute drive from my home. There is a parking lot available, but not so many spots are available for this establishment, so I parked on a residential side street. When walking in, we were told by hand "one minute ", and then when the hostess came over, she asked how many & for a phone number & they would let us know when they are ready. There were plenty of tables available, so I don't know what that was about. I then received a text message saying I was added to the wait list & it would be a 15-minute wait. My name was called within 5 minutes. We were seated right next to the counter where they do all their transactions & could overhear all the conversations about which table gets what. After sitting at the table for 10 minutes, a waitress came over to ask what she could start us off with.. no hello,no name given. I must say the 3 flight mimosas were great! The pancakes were drier than I like so I didn't finish them & the empanadas were good even though they gave us bean & cheese when we asked for pork(you get 4 empanadas & choose which kind you want). My friend enjoyed her eggs Benedict meal. It's a cute setup. Very busy on Sundays, but there was plenty of staff working for the waitress to be more attentive. I would like to come back to try their lunch/dinner menu. Unfortunately, due to the lack of attention of the staff & the wrong empanadas, I will give 4 stars. read more

This place has been on my girls brunch list for over 2 years - getting my friends from Westchester & CT for a birthday get together was well worth the wait !! We had so much fun catching up & having different unique social sharing options with the flights of drinks & snacks ! Come hungry & with friends - great place to socially share items. The restaurant is small but well worth the wait for a weekend catch up ! The owner hostess was extra kind & helped us celebrate our friend by giving us a few extra mins on our timed seating - but it gets crowded so plan accordingly ! Also parking is tight - best bet is to find a place on the side street - enjoy :-) read more

Awesome, my sister has been telling me how great Tasty Table is, finally I was able to visit. It was really an excellent experience. The place has a great vibe, the food is great !!!! The service was kind and very knowledgeable. The owner is a sweetheart, very hard-working and very pleasant, she really shows such a passion for her restaurant. We went without a reservation , the place was packed, so we waited a bit, which is totally expected when a place is as popular as tasty table. This place really has it going on !! Lovely sit down near Ossining. They have all your brunch fix ins and coffee! Came here after a hike. I was hangry for a burger and tried their signature Tasty Burger. Unfortunately the burger was a bit flat. Was hoping there was more profile to the burger and hoped I could actually taste the char siu butter. My date had 3 cups of coffee and a scone. No complaints. I kept hearing about this place and today we gave in and came to see what all of the hype was about...so here we go. As expected, there were people waiting outside..I checked in with the nicest hostess who took my number and said the wait was 30 min. And I would get a text when our table was ready..20 min. Later I got the text that would change me life..lol the decor is absolutely charming with a country rustic vibe, the staff was fantastic, the menu is extensive yet simple and full of comfort classics ( this was Brunch ). We loved the Mimosa samplers..and the food was absolutely Delicious!!! So fresh and so beautiful. I noticed the aforementioned sweet hostess was not only running the front of the house like a Champ..but was also checking on customers and even passing out homemade cinnamon biscotti ( which was so yummy ) to all the tables..I asked her if the owner was around (as I wanted to compliment the hostess on her manors and work ethic ) I was surprised to learn the Hostess was indeed the owner ( eventually met her husband as well ) what wonderful people!! I congratulated them on their success on such a wonderful place..and we talked for a few minutes. Look, in past reviews I've thrown the term "Gem" around with perhaps careless disregard..but in no other case is the use of "Hidden Gem" more applicable..this place is Amazing!! It really is a very Special place. We are instant regulars!! I can't wait to come back and work my way through their Delicious menu ( biscuits and gravy is definitely next ) The only justifiable exuse to being in Ossining NY and not checking this place out is if you are serving time in Sing Sing..lol ( I know that was cold ) Seriously, come check it out. I've heard so many great things about this quaint little spot in Westchester and just had to try it. The mimosa flights are a nice touch and great for trying flavors and sharing some with the table. This place is super popular and doesn't take standard reservations so make sure to best the rush and get there early or be prepared to wait if you have a larger party. The specials are what really caught my eye/attention, they have a coffee flight, I'll be sure to try that next time. From the eggs, sandwiches, bowls and French toast my party of 8 was plenty surprised with how excellent the food and service was. read more

Went there for the first time today for brunch and it's so cute! My girlfriends and I had the iced coffee flight- sooo good!! The Cupcake was our favorite We started out with the biscuits with the smoked brown sugar butter... all i have to say is that you HAVE to try it- delicious!! I got the Breakfast Pizza with the GF cauliflower crust- so good. Our server Frank was so pleasant, accommodating and sweet. The owner (did not catch her name!) Came over to say hello and ask how everything was... which was lovely- you don't get that very often! Overall delicious and great experience. Will definitely be back! read more

Love this place. They are always busy ! The food is always delicious and their drinks are fun and tasty. I have been here multiple times and each time is always great. I had their avo smash Benedict today with a short stack of blueberry pancakes. I also tried their drink special the love potion mimosa which was yummy. The place is a little small and was super busy for brunch but we got lucky and were seated about 10 mins after walking in. read more

My wife and I had brunch here yesterday, Sunday 5/28. We just heard about this place and found it on Yelp about a week or two ago. I really don't know how. We love trying new places and like everyone else now-a-days we consider ourselves "foodies" lol. However, we're not ones to write a ton of reviews. We're a if it's good we just keep going, if it's bad we just don't go back type of people. But this place was great. Smaller place but everything from the bathroom to the inside was clean. We sat outside and had a nice brunch. The food was great, I got Nutella stuffed French toast with a side of home fries (seasoned great) and my wife got a Sante fe? Or southwest salad. Idk I was too busy enjoying my French toast. But both delicious. Our server, Val, was very sweet and attentive. And the owner, I didn't catch her name, was very nice and could tell she cared about her business. That's all you can ask for! She even came around with little carrot cake muffins as a free sample and they were good! Overall, great experience and hidden gem, to us at least. We recently had our son's high school family graduation party at the Tasty Table. The owners Lisa and Dan created a special themed menu that was outstanding and included a nice variety of food for all ages. The presentation was beautiful and every dish was fresh, cooked right and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly making it a memorable experience. They went out of their way to make the day very special. Highly recommend booking your next party at the Tasty Table. read more

I would have given this place a 5 star had the service been a little different. I'm not trying to bash this beautifully decorated small quaint perfect brunch spot but they don't take reservations which is fine usually small places like this don't but being that their popularity has blown to epic portions maybe they should rethink reservations just for Brunch which seems to be when everyone is lining up to eat here. Anyway after a short 29 min wait we were seated. I was celebrating my bday with my cousins and this place has been on my radar for months. We were approached by a nice young lady who gave good recs and seemed to know the menu well. We ordered the mimosa flight, highly recommend, and then our entrees the food didn't take long at all and it all tasted great just super big portions which I certainly will never complain about having leftovers but here is where I had my issue. We stayed for about an hour and half which I think is ok for seating time, wait for food time, super quick photos and some chat time. It was my birthday after all and I wanted to have some girl time and unwind. Well this seems to be a problem as a lady walked in and they took her name and she waited inside which is a bit uncomfortable because you would be literally standing over someone already seated and eating. She paced the floor staring at ppl as if to say if your done I want your table. Awkward to say the least as it seemed she had her eye on our table. The hostess then comes over and says I'm not rushing you but if your done I would like to bring you the check because I have ppl waiting for your table. Our table? How when you don't take reservations and we were 3 sweater at a table for 4 and the person stalking was a party of 5? I was so turned off because the way I would have handled it is I would have found our server and said please tend to your table you haven't been over in awhile see if they need anything else or they would like their check. That sounds more like your not throwing me out and are trying to accommodate everyone especially the person seated who ordered a ton of food. But I will not let that deter me from trying dinner here one night just hope it's handled different. Overall food was 5 stars Service 3 total 4 stars for other servers that came through to make sure we were good when food arrived. Cleanliness of the place read more

This spot is a favorite stop off between the city and upstate. Lovely atmosphere, cozy and clean, friendly with delicious creative food and drinks and we have fallen in love with the owners Lisa and Danny. Sometimes their lovely daughter Breanna will be on hand to serve you. It is a perfect brunch spot with great egg dishes, waffles, pancakes, French toast, and other savory offerings. The ricotta pancakes are amazing! Their scones and muffins are also winners. They are victims of their own success. It can be a long wait but do use their 30 minute call ahead process. Don't believe the bad reviews as they are just haters. They are unhappy when they can't get a table. Why are people like this? Believe me- the Tasty Table is a charming family run business, doing great food at good prices. I'd be mad if I couldn't get in too! Ha! read more
