Friday night at Mt. Kisco Diner was such a fun experience with friends. Calling it a diner does not quite prepare you for how upscale it feels or how extensive the menu is. There were so many options, I was a little overwhelmed in the best way. My friends shared a pasta trio, and the pesto gnocchi looked especially amazing. They also ordered the Fruity Pebble milkshake, which was definitely a sight to see. I enjoyed the berry mule with strawberries and blueberries, which was refreshing and perfect with dinner. My gluten-free chicken burrito bowl was also delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, moist and flavorful. Thank you for a great meal and experience. Next time I am back, I am trying one of the gluten-free sandwiches! read more

I've heard great things about Mt. Kisco Diner, so I was excited to finally try it. The atmosphere is nice, it's clean, has a modern diner feel, and the menu is huge with tons of options. The food was good. We ordered the chicken tacos, French toast, and pancakes, and everyone enjoyed what they got. The portions were generous and everything came out fresh. The drinks were just okay, nothing that really stood out. The only disappointing part of our visit was the service. Our waiter seemed very short with us from the beginning. I asked if one ingredient could be left off my meal, and the response felt dismissive rather than accommodating. It wasn't the request being denied that bothered me, it was how it was handled. I also noticed he seemed much friendlier and more engaged with other tables than he was with ours, which was unfortunate. I'd definitely give the food another try because there are so many things on the menu I'd like to come back for. I just hope the service is a little more welcoming next time because it would really elevate the overall experience. read more

Omg done. High priced and low quality. What a transformation for previous years. Goodbye trash Over the years I notice the prices increasing exponentially and the quantity diminishing as well as quality. Something has changed over the years and is definitely not inflation. I had a really good experience here. I went for lunch and ordered the half sandwich soup special with matzo ball soup and a burger deluxe. The soup was delicious, broth was flavorful, and the matzoh ball was perfect. I really enjoyed the chicken salad Sammie , but the french fries were amazing! Really crispy and delicious. The burger was juicy and perfectly executed. Service was very good and we really enjoyed. read more

We were seated immediately at lunchtime, which was great--especially since this diner is always packed. They have their own parking lot, which makes things much easier. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options for everyone. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast with a drizzle of Nutella. The portion was huge--five slices of French toast--definitely enough to share. Unfortunately, mine came a bit on the burnt side, and I wouldn't order it again. My husband had the scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes and bacon, and he said everything was good. Our server was friendly and efficient, which added to the overall experience. Ambience is super casual. read more

Id like to start with "WOW". I am absolutely blown away with how delicious the food was. The variety and prices were so good. The service was also wonderful. Wait staff is so professional and kind. My husband lost his phone and immediately, they turned it into the front to be claimed. My husband and I ordered more than we can chew and we took advantage of the amazing "Mega Shakes". My husband got a strawberry one. I think it was strawberry shortcake and I got the candy land. We couldnt finish it. They were truly MEGA! Go hungry and prepared. They were also super cozy and decorating for the holidays and staff was attentive to my 1 year old who wanted to see everything. Will go back. I recommended all my friends to them already. read more

We were seated quickly and the service was quick. I appreciate them checking in with us and not letting a glass of water stay empty for long. The short rib grilled cheese was great, warm and flavorful. The prices are a little high but they give huge portions. The tomato soup was a little disappointing. It was bland and came out cold but my friend didn't mind. My friend loved the caesar salad and the chicken parm but wished for more sauce in the pasta. It's a great place to try Instagrammable foods like The Jersey Shore or Doritos mac and cheese. Give it a try, hope you have a good experience! read more

For the love of breakfast! Came here on a summer Saturday morning. Although they were busy we were able to get a table upon arrival. Mt. Kisco is known for their elaborate concoctions but we went with brunch basics. I had the chicken & waffles and my BF had the cinnamon roll pancakes. The chicken was the highlight of my meal... fried to perfection & very well seasoned. I would go back just for that! My BF also enjoyed his cinnamon roll pancakes.... Fair warning the cinnamon and swirl on top has enough sweetness that you don't need syrup. read more

The mount kisco diner can be best described as a tourist trap for foodies. The food looks really good on social media, but when you get there and have some, it's just okay. The actual diner itself is decorated nicely. I've been to this diner a couple of times due to friends wanting to go there. My last time at this establishment was in 2024 where I came face to face with the owner. I went there for breakfast with a few peers and at the end of our meal, we left a tip at the TABLE for our waitress. We then went to the front of the diner to pay for our food. Not all diners have you pay at the front so we weren't sure what their system was. All three of us paid separately, but the tip was for all three of us combined. While I was paying for my food at the counter, the owner made a rude remark to me about not giving a tip. Obviously he was unaware that we did leave a tip at the table, but the comment still bothered me to the point that I won't be back. read more

Service of the counter was a bit screwy. The guy who took my order screwed up 2 times. But the food was worth the weight. The guy next to me to the unique dish. Guy from Maryland they've never been there before ordered a dish she never heard of. It was taco with a chicken taco. The taco was actually a chicken cutlet Take a look at the picture. The place looks the same, which is fine with me. read more

Not much diner in the area so it makes the availability a plus. The food is decent and good thing is they have all day breakfast. I ordered the Baja steak toco ($25.50) for 3 tacos. I wanted my steak medium and it was as I liked it. The portion was huge so it took some time to finish. The services was and the diner is spacious. Come for the instagrammable milkshakes! The cake was surprisingly the best part of our Blackout shake. The food servings are huuuge! Some things are fun to try, like the Doritos mac and cheese. My daughter got this given her inherited love of Doritos (haha). I liked the mac and cheese base, but the Doritos are no bueno if you don't eat them up fast (get mushy). I got the Chicken Penne Tacos -- very very filling, two chicken's all flattened and deep fried into your "shell" and filled with penne pasta and cheese inside. Hubs got the pulled pork sandwich -- the meat was pretty dry, didn't seem like it had much sauce or at all added. We went around Easter so the whole place was cute and decorated with bunnies and pastel. The service was great as well. -- 4-4.5 Star: The skirt steak-based dishes are actually pretty good, very well cooked. I get the Brazilian one (medium rare), but my friend got a salad with equally huge portion size of the steak. -- Saw someone order the strawberry cheesecake pancake tacos? I will get that to try next time read more

My husband met some former colleagues at Mt Kisco diner to catch up and when he came home, he couldn't stop talking about it. He brought home some french toast because the portions were huge but he didn't stop raving about it. It just so happens the next day, we had an electrician at our house so we needed to make ourselves scarce for a few hours. It was early and we were hungry, so he said "Let's go to Mt Kisco Diner!" Off we went to Mt Kisco. The friendly staff seated us at a nice table by the front window. The menu is impressive and all the dishes I saw go by looked great. I opted for scrambled eggs and toast, with french fries instead of home fries. Everything was great and service was terrific. Again, the portions are huge and we could have easily split what I ordered. Coffee was also very delicious. The restaurant is spacious and clean. I liked the design...it made me feel calm. It was fairly crowded when we were there and it was lively but not too loud. I definitely recommend Mt Kisco diner if you're looking for some elevated diner grub! read more

I've heard a lot of hype for this place mostly about their crazy milkshakes and I was hoping for a decent meal as well. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything outstanding in my opinion. It was lackluster diner food and although the presentation of the milkshake was awesome, the shake itself barely tasted like fruity pebbles. The eggs were a bit overcooked for my liking and the pancakes didn't have that buttermilky flavor I usually look for and they were a bit dry. A bit disappointed overall but not the worst diner food I've ever had. It seemed like they had some fun items on the dinner menu so I might give it a second chance for dinner at some point! I would've given it a 2.5 if I could but I rounded up for creativity. I really appreciate when restaurants think outside the box! read more

This is my 4th time here and thinking it's time to face the music: I am not fan. Oreo shake was fine. I prefer this simple version over the extravagant one because the extravagant versions are pre-made and use an absurd amount of frosting instead of whipped cream. Pulled pork quesadilla was fine. Too much bbq sauce in my opinion otherwise, it was fine. Chicken and waffles had a lot of fry batter and bone for not that much chicken. It was fine. Kids chicken fingers and french fries were fine. I strongly dislike this place, but for some reason my kids love it. Not sure if it's from the over indulgence, the milkshakes, the atmosphere or it's just funny to them how my wife and I cringe when we say yes to bringing them here for a meal. All in all, it's around $120/meal for a family of 4 after tip and tax and the food is fine. For me 3/5 sums this place up perfectly. That being said it's usually busy or packed so I'm probably the odd person out with my review. As for ambiance, the dining experience included soft techno music playing with songs that seemed to go on forever. Staff was tentative and cookies in the front were stale. read more

Came back to try some more goodies! Very satisfied with all the choices this time. We started off with the Ravioli bites with vodka sauce. Saved the vodka sauce for one of the crunchy wraps we got (short rib crunch). By far an amazing combo /hack. The beast burger wrap was also packed with goodies. The kids enjoyed the smores waffle, a bit sticky but good. We finished off with oreo cheese cake tacos(crepes) very good and a banana pudding cheese cake (tarty and fresh). Overall loved coming back and will return for more. read more

June 30, 2026, Jose J. (0337) our Server was wonderful, polite and took great care of our table. We ordered the Triple Turkey Club Sandwich that was delicious! Went for lunch with another couple. We all ordered salads, 3 Waldorf salads and 1 Asian Chicken salad. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures, however, service was excellent and the salads were freshly made, the chicken was tender and juicy and warm and enough for 2 people each. Our waiter was on top of everything to make sure our needs were met. They did not rush us out so an order of rice pudding was placed to make up for us sitting and talking. We go to Mt Kisko diner a lot. It was my son's 24th birthday, we went today at around 2:30, the restaurant was fairly empty- my son said please don't let them know. We had a waiter who was beyond inattentive. Our food came out cold, my son ordered his favorite cannoli pancakes--we had to beg for him to bring it back and then we never saw him again until the bill came. We had to try to find him to get more water. Not a great birthday start. I was so disappointed for my son. As we went to pay the waiter was there probably making sure we gave him a tip which I would always do, but that was the only time he was attentive. I have to think twice as to whether I will go back because they ruined my son's birthday. read more

Ok so my family heard so much about this place thru social media and ofc had been wanting to try it out. The wait to sit was absurd bc we had a big party but it was worth the wait. I will say prepare yourselves, this is not a typical diner. Their menu is insane. The options are limitless, and you kind of get lost in the menu to the point you don't know what to get. That we ended up with pretty regular plates bc we felt overwhelmed with the menu . I did however see very interesting plates being served around me. I'll have to go back and try some of those out of norm plates. The food we had was really good. The service was amazing. The hostess did his best to move things around and sit us down as quickly as possible. And our server was awesome. There are not too many GF/DF/EF options but they do have a small vegetarian option and you can play with some other plates. For a celiac/MCAS like myself, I played with a regular meal like omitting dairy/gluten here and there and the next few days I suffered from histamine release. Just be cautious. the place is beautiful. Really nice decor. Looked clean. But, the ladies room has two stalls. One stall there was water (I'm hoping it was water), all over the floor. That no matter where we stepped my shoes were filthy. The bathrooms could definitely use a little maintenance thru out the evening. read more

We have been wanting to try this place for the longest time because we didn't think they had gluten free options. A little behold they had gluten free bread and wraps! They can most wrap gluten free including a few of the French toast and those two sections look tasteful from a wide variety of options. We ordered the fruity pebbles French toast gluten free and it was fantastic and devoured. I've been craving a chicken ceasar wrap and what can I say it is best around town. I passed this diner for years while making deliveries and never realized what was inside. Thanks to Instagram, we finally made it inside. Plenty of parking in the lot. There is an outside patio for when the weather is nice. Very clean and updated inside. It has a good feel when you walk in, definitely not a typical diner. Friendly and helpful staff. We definitely came because of Instagram. They do a great job getting attention and make it a draw. The food is good, but it is overhyped. We tried a few different menu items. There is a section that literally says Instagram favorites. The names are catchy and definitely appealed to me. They also have a full diner menu. I had the Mac and cheese burger which was on the regular menu. Very delicious. I preferred it over the Instagram section. We also tried the Jersey Shore and Bronx Tale Wrap.
