I had the spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, although I was expecting a bit more heat. It was flavorful but tasted milder than I anticipated. The desserts looked beautiful (as you can see in the photo). I didn't try one myself, so I can only share what my friends said. They thought they were good, though nothing particularly memorable. It was an extremely hot day, so we were looking forward to ordering sangria. Unfortunately, even though it's listed on the menu, they weren't serving it, which was a little disappointing. The service was good, friendly and attentive, though fairly average overall. One thing I will say is that I prefer the atmosphere in the evenings. The side dishes of mixed vegetables and potatoes were decent. The main dishes were hit or miss. There were three: salmon, steak, and chicken marsala. The salmon was flavorful but a little dry. The chicken marsala was very dry and was saved by the delicious sauce with mushrooms. The best was the steak with was perfectly tender and medium rare. The dessert was some small pastries and fruit which was presented nicely. It is a very classy place with good service.

So, this one was a real doozy of a visit. The drinks were fair, with our order being a Goose Island…read moreIPA, Long Island iced tea, and a pomegranate martini. The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.

The grilled vegetables were awesome and had a char grilled taste. The restaurant was cold because the tables are near large glass windows that double as sliding doors so I ate with my coat in. They need to hang some curtains or shades to shield customers from all that cold air coming in through the window panes.

This is a large restaurant that is decorated nicely with modern decor and tablecloths. Of the 40 tables in this restaurant there were probably 6-7 tables in use. The food was good- seared tuna, grilled swordfish, scallops, plus salads and sides. Pricing was fair and service was fine. We didn't have dessert. So- will I be back to Coral Seafood again? It's hard to say but it's doubtful. I restaurant has to have a vibe, a soul, some energy or some excitement. An empty restaurant on a Saturday night makes me sad and dining should not elicit feelings of sadness. I wish them luck.

It's different in a good way, but I was expecting a bit more heat and punch. Still tasty, just on the milder side. Last year I also tried their Pineapple Sweet Chili wings and Jalapeño Cilantro wings. Pineapple Sweet Chili was a mix of sweet pineapple flavor with a mild chili sauce. More sweet than spicy, kind of sticky and tropical. Jalapeño Cilantro was a fresher, herb forward flavor with jalapeño heat and cilantro brightness. Not super heavy or saucy, more of a lighter, zesty wing. Overall, Hudson Grille is more of a vibe spot than a dedicated wing destination. The flavors are creative and fun to try, especially if you like sweet or fusion style wings, but consistency and boldness can vary.

This place was loud and lively, crowded and full of raucous laughter with fun music playing in the background, a mid to late 20's crowd packed the bar and every table was full too, but our host and server Peter seemed to be everywhere at once! We never had an empty water glass, dirty plates were whisked away immediately, craft cocktails and food brought out on a perfectly timed schedule.
