If you want a place to watch the game, this is a place to visit. The restaurant offers several seating options (booths, chairs, the bar, indoor/outdoor). The alcoholic drinks were good. I didn't give this place a higher rating because I wouldn't bring my children due to it inhibiting where they placed us. We couldn't see the baseball game and we specifically asked to be seated near the TV. Food: 1 - shrimp tostadas were delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce 2 - chicken fingers and fries - the fries were addictively appetizing 3 - chicken chipotle sandwich - tasty 4 - garlic parmesan chicken wings - good Staff: friendly and knowledgeable of the menu

Great service and food. Cocktails are great. Claire makes stellar martinis. I had the margarita pizza which I enjoyed. A friend of mine is obsessed with the burgers there. It has outdoor seating and dining area that's sectioned off from the bar. I like that because each section is different vibe.

I been to this restaurant many times and just now I realized I never left my review. is a nice casual restaurant/bar where you can enjoy a game at the bar on the big screen but a bit above casual and below fine white table cloth dindining where you can enjoy a nice date, If you get my drift. They also have a big patio and bar out back that is very popular in the summer tho is open(with cover) yearlong . Plenty of paid parking on the back. Definately recommend it. Food is great and service is fast and friendly.

I tried Pineapple Sweet Chili & Jalapeño Cilantro wings. I went to a white plains wing walk. Both wings needed more salt on the wings itself. The pineapple sweet chili sauce was very flavorous. The sweet chili was ok. The server was extra nice! It was pretty busy inside b/c of the regular customers & the ppl. From the wing walk. It had nice decor!

Nice lively spot to enjoy the game, have a few drinks and get something to eat. Plenty of paid parking in the rear. We chose this place because of the many Gluten free options. We shared the Short Rib grilled cheese which was very good and the Fig and Burrata pizza. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Good food, good service and good vibe.

Very basic spot, food was good and prices were solid. Nothing wowed me but I left satisfied. One thing to note is that the blackened chicken was SPICY! Outdoor seating is spacious and nice. Service was fine nothing exceptional but no complaints

We came here around 12:30 on a Tuesday, somewhat of a lunch rush. ordered mainly burgers, sandwiches and one filet mignon. What had confused us, was a table that arrived after us received their food before us. The food took over an hour to arrive? When asked, our server would tell us it's on the way, or five more minutes. The Lychee Martinis were delicious! The food was okay, not worth the wait. For the long wait, we received a round of drinks from management.

This was the first restaurant I dined in this year, with a pretty sizable group. Thankfully, one of my friends had the foresight to make a reservation for us, and we were seated right away. There was a Brunch, along with a regular Lunch menu. My friend and I shared the Truffle and Parmesan Fries, which were truly addicting. The Fries were perfectly crispy, with plenty of Parmesan, and satisfyingly strong truffle taste. It was tough to decide what to order, but I finally went with the Miso Glazed Salmon, which was served with cauliflower risotto, garlicky broccolini, sesame seeds, and chives. The dish was presented beautifully. The Salmon was exquisite and absolutely delicious! It had a slight crunch, was delightfully tender and flaky, prepared with an amazingly flavorful sauce. The Risotto was wonderfully cheesy, rich, and creamy. And the Broccolini was fresh and well seasoned. I got to try the Chorizo Tacos, which didn't impress me much, because the Chorizo didn't taste authentic. Service was a bit slow, and they were quite busy. I asked for lemon (to go with my water) maybe 4-5 times, before I finally received it. Also, it took the food awhile to arrive after ordering. Prices were decent. I'm not sure I'll be back because I'm not in the area much, but would want to try the Short Ribs and Potato Gnocchi if I return.

I enjoyed dinner here, and there were some interesting items on the menu. There was plenty of metered street parking. I got the seafood linguine, and it had general portions of shrimp, mussels, clams, and octopus. He had a steak which was juicy, perfectly cooked, and came with a big dollop of seasoned butter on top. The roasted vegetable medley was also good, although neither of us cared for the big slice of onion. The dessert menu had a lot of appealing options, and we went with the special homemade tres leches cake which was really something special. The cake was coated in meringue which lightly toasted like a big campfire marshmallow. Inside the meringue, the tres leches was moist and very sweet. The menu did include the words "merenge" and "beries" so the only way to make the dessert more special would be to do a typo check. Overall, I found it a satisfying meal for a decent price.

3.5 stars. definitely prefer the sister restaurant next door, Lilly's. food was okay. there are a lot of options. kid friendly. but food was kinda average, maybe a little above average. nice outdoor seating, lots of seating and space in the restaurant, and fine if you're in the area, but i definitely wouldn't go as a destination.

Short rib gnocchi and NY Strip steak were delicious. Came in w/o reservations on a Friday night-got seated right away. Meter street parking $1.25/hr. Large bar area and more seating in back. Nice restaurant/bar- lively crowd.

I stopped in for an early dinner with a friend. We ordered the mussels, steak salad, and a winter grain bowl for our meal. To start, the mussels arrived with several toasted sliced baguettes which were crunchy and delicious. The mussels had a great curry flavor with coconut milk, just delicious. Steak salad was good, and the steak was cooked nicely at medium rare as requested. I wish the salad was a little bit more interesting. It had some frizzled onions and tomatoes but was pretty simple. I tasted the grain bowl and it was quite good with quinoa, apples and assorted veggies. Food was fresh and service was good. I will definitely be back.

Ok, I know I should be leary of salad bars right now with all of the coronavirus fright going on…read morebut I can't resist the salad bar at La Provence in the White Plains Bloomingdales store! Usually I will get a lunch entree off of the menu which automatically comes with a small plate for the salad bar. I always really enjoy the food at the salad bar and can barely eat my meal when it comes because I am already full! On my last visit there, it was late and I knew I'd be going home to sit and eat dinner only a few hours later, so I wanted to eat lighter since I also had a long drive ahead of me. I decided to go for their salad bar option, where they give you a larger plate for the salad bar and then you can have either soup or the famous Forty Carrots froyo to compliment your meal. I think this is the way to go for me going forward. I was able to enjoy the fresh salad and foods from the salad bar that I love, with a little treat of froyo at the end (which I never end up getting when I opt for the meal because I'm usually way too stuffed). What I love about the salad bar is there is so many options for salad- usually greens, bean salad, macaroni or potato salad, and other options as well. Many dressings and toppings as usual in a salad bar, and then there's always a hot option which is usually chicken wings or meatballs. My favorite part though? The POPOVERS!! Yum! Not many places make popovers and they make me very happy in all their carby glory. I've also had their steak quesadilla, Orchard Chicken Wrap, Short Rib French Dip, which were all delicious and perfectly paired and made. Their hot chocolate is super chocolatey and sweet, it hit the spot on a cold day. My beverage of choice to accompany my meal is always the Shoppers Brew, basically the Bloomingdale's Arnold Palmer. 5/5

La Provence at Bloomingdales is a place where I would label as a "ladies' lunch" spot. There were…read moretwo gentlemen there so yes it can be a men's lunch spot too, don't want to offend anyone. They offer light fare and heavy on the salad options. I was underwhelmed with the menu they gave us so asked if they had a brunch menu which I saw one online before arriving. After a few minutes one was brought over to us which was not what I saw online but it added options. Each item was individual priced or you could make it prix fixe for $25 which included their famous frozen yogurt and a beverage. I opted for the Breakfast Balboa which I typically wouldn't order but it was the only thing "floating my boat." Much too hearty to be considered a light meal option so there is this. The Balboa was served open faced on a toasted baguette cut in half with shaved cooked roast beef, melted swiss, caramelized onions and perfectly fried sunny side eggs, one on each half of the baguette. There was supposed to be a garlic-chipotle dressing on sandwich but I think they forgot it? I am sensitive to hot seasoning although I like it so I took a chance it wouldn't be too hot. No worries because it was absent from the sandwich. The potato wedges were delicious, crispy and had nice seasoning. The lemonade was my beverage choice and I enjoyed it. It was smooth and not tart. When I called last week to make a reservation, I was told it wasn't needed for a Saturday. Good thing we went at 11:30 am because by 1:30 pm every table was taken. A good portion of the people dining were eating the frozen yogurt so it stands to reason because its so popular it must be really good? I use to frequent Forty Carrots (back in the day) which is their counter top service next to the restaurant and loved the frozen yogurt. There were three flavor options: plain (guessing plain is vanilla), chocolate and coffee. I opted for plain and that is what I got. When I inquired if it came with any toppings, I was told no so I asked if I paid extra could I get strawberries and I was obliged. The fee was nominal for a couple of strawberries cut up but that didn't add any sweetness, it was still sour/tart. I added a sugar packet to the strawberries but it didn't really help. So, what's all the hype about? My taste buds must have changed because while it was very creamy it was sour. I convinced my friend who is a yogurt hater that she would love it because that had always been my past experience. After one small taste she made a face and said, "tart." Then I tasted and agreed. I have to accept the reason I may have enjoyed it previously was because of all the toppings I use to add which likely masked the sour flavor for me. I know that totally defeats having frozen yogurt as opposed to ice cream. All and all it's not for me but from all the frozen yogurts coming out of the kitchen and being taken out at Forty Carrots I seem to be in the minority. OK spent way too much of my review on Frozen Yogurt! Peace out. BTW, check in on your Yelp app and get 20% off.

I knew that we were in for a treat, especially since I have had such wonderful lunches at the other spots I've been to over the years. This Cafe was no exception! For those of you who have never had the pleasure of dining at a Nordstrom Cafe, you place your order and pay at the register before sitting down to dine, and then the food is brought out to you. They have an array of soups, sandwiches, salads, and a couple of entrees, plus a wine and beverage list. The cuisine is a bit on the pricier side (it was about $30 for my boyfriend and I with soup, an entree salad, and two soft drinks), but extremely worth it! I urged my boyfriend to try the signature Tomato Soup, which is a creamy and satisfying bowl of tomato goodness served with a couple of homemade cheese crostini. They even sell it by the jar on your way out, so if you can't get enough of it, you can make it at home. My mom got me one of those jars for Christmas one year! I opted for the Grilled Shrimp Salad, which is one of the best salads I've ever had. I mean, I'm still dreaming about it. Fresh arugula topped with plump grilled shrimp, crunchy polenta croutons, Parmesan cheese, and roasted corn and tomatoes all tossed in a creamy basil herb dressing. Heavenly. We got some locally made root beer and iced tea, which were refreshing additions to our lunch selections. The dining room is lovely, and offers a great view of the White Plains skyline. Take some discreet photos for social media, but beware of disapproving stares from society matrons at neighboring tables. Ah well, the burden of being a millennial, I guess! :) Word to the wise: Tip is not included when you check out at the beginning of your meal, and your server gives you a receipt at the end of the meal to leave a tip on. I was a bit confused by this, and I wish they had told me when I was buying the food at the beginning that this is how it works. Oh well. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time, and we'll be back again!
