What a great place!! The ambiance is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is top notch!! Took the girls there for lunch on Christmas break and it did not disappoint. Every dish at our table was great. Our server (Mario) was excellent. So happy we chose here.

Dined here again for a friend's birthday, but for dinner this time. Was not as pleased this time around though. The reservation was at 6:30, though we were promptly seated upon our early arrival around 6:15. 4/6 people were early, but we were still waiting on the remaining 2. At 6:40 both the waiter and what I presume to be the manager come to the table to tell us they have an 8:30 reservation at the table we were at. 10 minutes into our expected reservation seemed a little soon to already be getting rushed, especially with nearly 2 hours until the next table. We put in our orders at this time as we waited for the others to arrive. Food took a bit to come, but it was busy so not a problem. We did have to put in a reminder about drinks as well after 15+ minutes after ordering another round. The waiter then tried taking the menus before the other arrived and when we mentioned they were almost there he asked if they planned on eating...well yeah. We were again reminded of their 8:30 reservation at our table. Once the others arrived they were barely seated before being pressed for their orders. They did turn their meals around very quickly at least. The waiter took a bit to come back for dessert orders despite their constant reminder of having another upcoming reservation, but we managed to get our orders in with only a minor disgruntled look from the waiter. A few minutes before 8:30 we were promptly shooed from our table after having our meals packed up and paying the bill, with the final notice of their other upcoming reservation. We took our conversation outside where we chatted for a bit before the manager came out and offered us room by the bar. Nice gesture, but maybe try that while kicking us out of our table, not 20 minutes after. On the bright side the food was still good. Though I still needed more spice in my spicy rigatoni.

What a good dining experience from start to finish. We were happy to hear they were open for lunch on Monday. I called to inquiry if we could order from the dinner menu and was told yes. They offer a lunch menu but but we were interested in entrees. The restaurant has a pretty design with a big bar and lots of tables with comfortable backed chairs. The tables are spaced apart well and there is a lot of light inside. They have huge windows that let in a lot of light. The staff was friendly and our waiter Joseph was pleasant following up with us throughout the meal. We started with cocktails. A Bloody Mary for my husband and a S'mores martini for me. Both were good and served in nice large appropriate styled stemware. Love a martini in a traditional Martini glass which they use. Shared the Burrata appetizers with sliced tomatoes, a couple small pieces of prosciutto, roasted mixed color peppers over one piece of crostini and a balsamic glaze. It was good but didn't deliver as well as the drinks and both of our entrees. Let me tell you the breaded cutlets for the Chicken Parm ala Vodka were fried to perfection. Tasty, moist with two huge cutlets including a side of pasta. It was so good that going forward all Chicken Parm dishes will be held up to this standard. I was able to choose penne as my pasta side although spaghetti, rigatoni was also available. The side of pasta was a meal in itself. I took home half my meal and all the pasta which made for another delightful dinner the following day. My husband opted for the chicken marsala served with a mushroom risotto. Again, two huge cutlets with a very good marsala sauce. He said it was wonderful. They had more than several heaters outside on the sidewalk but no tables. It is February! They have a parking lot which they share with other store fronts adjacent to the restaurant as well as metered parking directly across the street and also on the main road. We were too full for dessert. Would love to return for another time with a friend who would very much enjoy their menu and ambience.

Another fabulous dinner here! Had to have those bacon wrapped shrimp in that divine sauce. Excellent! Memorable! We tried the eggplant stack as a new appetizer, and for entrées we got the veal Parm on the bone, and the chicken marsala. The eggplant was wonderful, and I usually am not a big fan of eggplant. It was soft and delicious in a great marinara sauce. The veal Parm was unbelievable! It was really tender and absolutely delicious. A showstopper! The chicken marsala was really well done with lots of mushrooms in a glossy wine sauce with great flavor. Our waitress was friendly, drinks were fabulous, and it was the perfect dinner.

Went in because I see all their posts on IG. The place is nice! The music was great! It was a Sunday afternoon. We were started with some really delicious warm bread and butter. Then we had mussels in white wine sauce. Delicious. The my husband went with the eggplant parm, with the Vodka sauce. I had the veal Ossobuco. The portions were big. Too big for me. Most people want more of that, me no. It was too big, too heavy. If I go back, I'd order lighter stuff. Service was good. Our server was constantly checking in on us!

A must try. Trendy place with great food. Lively fun atmosphere with music playing - some may find it too loud but we liked it. Service was a bit slow, but understandable considering the place was jampacked on a Friday night the food, well, the food was absolutely fabulous. From the appetizers down to dessert nothing disappointed. Must have appetizers: octopus, shrimp ceviche, pizza. Entrées: all the veal is bone in large portions. Veal martini, fried veal scarpariello, veal parm. Lobster ravioli, and the chicken scarp to die for. Zeppoli's, tiramisu, and Tres leches for dessert. Absolutely amazing.

A good time was had by all Feasted like kings Bill was surprisingly reasonable One of the best times I have had in recent memory

I found myself at Freddy's to celebrate my dad's birthday. He was in the mood for a burger and…read moreafter searching the Westchester area we ultimately landed here. The pics, reviews, and menu all seemed to point towards a yes - so off we went. Freddy's is located within the main commercial hub of Pleasantville. It's not a large restaurant, but holds a decent amount of seating with tasteful and laid-back decor. We were there right at opening at 4:30p, so it wasn't crowded but started filling up as time progressed. The menu is mostly American - arranged by apps, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. I decided to start with the burrata which was served with diced butternut squash, brown butter, and grilled bread. This was...not what I was expecting. Burrata usually comes as an intact sphere that you cut open to reveal the soft cheese inside. This was already broken, and served in an almost deconstructed way. It honestly looks like a way to cut corners as it was definitely not a whole burrata. That, and the lack of flavor do not make it worth the $17 they charge. My main was better - I ordered the smoked chicken which was a breast on the bone and came with grits, spinach, and honey au jus. This was tasty - the chicken was juicy with crispy skin, and the au jus added a welcome sweetness to the grits and spinach. We opted for dessert because birthday - I chose the carrot cake which was just okay. No nuts, raisins, or noticeable carrots - so, a spice cake? As a side note, we were there during HV Restaurant week, however in lieu of a dedicated menu they offered a prix fixe app/entree/dessert off their menu. It sounded great at face value, but then we were told the portions would be smaller - and for items they couldn't shrink they up-charged if we ordered off the regular menu. IMO, not the best way to do restaurant week - either have a dedicated menu for it or don't participate at all. That being said, we decided to order off the regular menu. Service was good, everyone was friendly and food came out at a good pace. Overall, Freddy's sent me mixed signals - the food wasn't bad, but this isn't a place I would go out of way to try again - it's more of a local spot in my perspective. If circumstances found me here again, though, I wouldn't be mad.

Food just wasn't that good. The table ordered a variety of dishes--mid at best…read more Service was also 2 stars, not friendly at all. Tell my friends to pass or go at your own risk

We do notice two empty tables outside but understood that maybe they don't want to seat people and overwhelm the kitchen. After about 10 mins of waiting we're offered one of the tables that had been empty. (Which were outside). No menus given but we noticed the QR codes. Guy comes by and drops off cups w ice and a carat of water. Waiting... waiting.... Finally another server comes and asks if we'd like to order drinks. Yes, and our meals bc we've been sitting here for quite some time. We get our coffees and there's a lot of grinds at the bottom of the cups, server switches it out. We finally get our food and two of the three meals were not hot, not even warm. But we're hungry and eat but when the server checks in my sister says "honestly for as long as we waited we would've expected hotter food, these two (egg dishes) are cold." He apologizes and says he'll let the manager know. The manager, who I can only assume is Lisa (based on the responses I'm seeing here on Yelp) came out and said I hear the food is cold? And was very aggressive right off the bat. Saying everything comes right out of the kitchen and to the table, we don't have heat lamps. Offers to "reheat" the food (but how, the microwave?) we're already half way thru the dishes as we had waited a long time. My sister tried to express that after waiting for a table, service and grounds in the coffee that this was disappointing - the manager interjects w "well did you tell him did he give you a new one" She does NOT take criticism very well, she's abrasive and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. She then came out (after I assume finding out the whole story and how long we had been there) she said she would take the two items off the bill, which we weren't gunning for. As we just gave honest feedback when asked how everything was. We then noticed her come and check in on the other tables outside bc people who got there well after us also got their food at the same time... As much as I'd want to come back and try it again bc the promise is there. The manager was such a turn off, that I would be spending my money there, again.

I am vegetarian and while they have a bunch of veggie appetizers I was disappointed in the complete lack of any vegetarian entree. It's 2026. They have some creative cocktails, GF tried the margarita and liked it enough that she ordered a second. I ordered something with a cheeky name that I believe had vodka and something citrusy/floraly that I also enjoyed. Something kind of strange though, maybe 5-10 minutes after ordering our drinks, another person came over and said "the person who took your drinks didn't get the last 2 so what did you order?" People make mistakes, I get it. Idk how anyone remembers shit anyway but maybe write it down? Either way, it felt strange that someone else came over to say that. It just felt odd. Fortunately our drinks came but we had to flag someone down to order that second margarita later. I ordered the cauliflower and kale soup and the cauliflower fritters mainly because they were 2 of the very limited things I could order but the waiter was a little judge judy (cauliflower soup AND cauliflower fritters?) yes, my guy. The cauliflower and kale soup was under salted which I actually appreciate. I hate when anything is over-salted to the point of drowning out the other flavors. I am impressed by their confidence in the soup to NOT do that but it didn't really stand on its own and was a touch bland. The fritters, on the other hand, were sensational. That roasted beet aioli was delicious and the crispness of the outside of the fritters was a lovely texture. 3/4 of us got our food at least 5 minutes before the last person which is not ideal. Portions were also surprisingly small for the prices.

We went on Easter for brunch, which we decided to do last minute and they let us know they could squeeze us in. We sat on the screened in patio. They were massively busy, but the staff was on their toes, checking in, taking away empty plates, being very kind (even though they were clearly crazy with how busy they were). We started with the Brie stuff pretzels. They were more like pretzel sandwiches (pretzel sticks cut in half with Brie in between), but were really tasty. It was all so good, I kept forgetting to take pictures until after we had already dug in. The pretzel app came with 4 pretzel/brie sandwiches. We also got the spinach an artichoke dip. It came with a nice amount of chips (hate when they give you too few and then you're just left with gobs of dip and nothing for it). It also came with salsa and sour cream, which seemed odd, but was nice for the extra chips and also family friendly if the dip didn't appeal to kids. The dip itself was really nice, it didn't taste as rich as spinach and artichoke dips often are. I could really taste the spinach, but in a good way. Usually dips like that make me feel overly full and are so heavy, this was a refreshing take on it. We got the Dutch baby pancake, the kids Mac and cheese, the pimento cheese and ham omelet (which I got scrambled), chicken and waffles, and the hot honey chicken. Overall, the food was delicious. The flavors all had depth and were really satisfying. We came home with lots of leftovers and we were all very happy when the meal was done. We will definitely be going back.

We were actually supposed to go on vacation but apocalyptic weather at our destination meant that every flight to that region was cancelled or severely delayed and ain't nobody got time for that so we decided to take a staycation instead. It felt only right to do the thing we would have done on vacation and go out for dinner. TBH we're old now so vacation or not, we eat on the earlier side of things. I think we went at around 5:30pm. Ample amount of seating available at that time. They have quite a large menu with many intriguing options. Unfortunately, only vegetarian main I recall was the mac and cheese. Instead, I settled on the santa fe salad for my main and GF the lettuce tacos for hers. The appetizer menu was particularly appetizing but we had to settle on two so we went with the spicy cauliflower and brie-stuffed pretzel. The spicy cauliflower was flavored aggressively, in a positive kind of way. The accompanying ranch brought everything together. You also can't go wrong with a brie stuffed pretzel. I don't typically like sweet in what is traditionally a savory flavor profile but the fig jam really added a welcome new dimension. Santa fe salad was gigantic. I actually was able to eat the rest of it for dinner on the following night. Absolutely loaded with goodies like avocado, corn, cheese, black beans, scallions, tomatoes. What a combo of flavors and textures in that thing. GF enjoyed all of the tacos except for nashville hot chicken but she isn't a big fan of chicken to begin with. I was especially impressed by their drink menu. They have a literal "smoked" menu which I could not pass up. I went with the southern smoke which is out of character for me because I typically don't get bourbon (for a reason...and i suffered later). This drink packed a fucking PUNCH. My goodness. There is no candy land bullshit juice drinks here, you definitely get your money's worth. There was a touch of a time period between when I finished my drink and was asked if I wanted another but at least they did ask. Ultimately a good experience. I do wish they had some vegetarian mains but if you aren't vegetarian and like southern food you would probably enjoy tremendously.
