Wow! This place is so rad. I came by for one of their Swing Dance nights with a live band on the "Garage" side. The inside is super cute & clean; there are so many items on the walls that you can't get bored looking around. The stage is small, but it sounds great in the space. They also have a full bar on this side (though it was closed for our weeknight shindig). The "Basement" side bar was open; it's also very clean and they had some nostalgic items & games displayed. They even have an upstairs/ loft area / I didn't go upstairs, but it has some old school arcade games. They have a few beers on tap, and I was happy that at least one of them was dark (Guinness with a proper pour!). Their kitchen on the weeknight was open until 11 so I got some boneless wings with "awesome" sauce. They were definitely coated and had just a little heat; it was definitely better than most bar food. read more

Lucy's The Garage WAS an amazingly unique venue. The staff were so friendly and personable, it was literally like going to Westchester's version of "Cheers". It was obvious the staff enjoyed working with each other, as it was clearly reflected in how they treated customers. But it seems ownership has changed and the old crew is gone. Now it's just another one of the "dime a dozen bars" with live music. It's sad, as it brought me, my friends and my family so much joy. I made many friends there as well. read more

Went to this Spot for the first time to see a band play. We started off in what they call "the basement" which is the food/ bar area. It consists of a bar and 8 to10 tables. You order your food at the bar and then they deliver it to your table. They are known for their smash burgers, so I ordered the psycho burger. The burger was great! Really juicy with a nice, crisp Smashburger edge. The tater tots were abundant on the plate and just delicious. I had a chocolate martini and a Cosmo. Both drinks were well crafted and strong! Just perfect. We then proceeded to "the garage," the room with the band in it. The garage was a very funky vibe with lots of license plates and tools decorating the walls. It felt like you're in you grandfathers garage! Apparently, they have different bands every week. We saw the band "Archives" who rocked some great 80s music. This is a great venue to see a band. There is also a second bar in the garage room. It was a really fun evening, and I will be back. read more

What a great live music and food venue in Pleasantville NY. They have all the best bands around and the whole place feels like a flashback to a simpler time!! The 70/80's including the retro video and pinball machines wrapped in neon on the top floor. Their menus is amazing! The basement burgers are insanely good and the tator tots are off the charts. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff who know how to make a legit old fashioned and Manhattan . The live music area has some of the best sound equipment anywhere around and on a Friday or Saturday night the place is hopping and music is awesome!! read more

I was here for the very first time w/ my wife for a surprise bday party for a friend of mine on Saturday. So this is about my experience in the back room where the party was being held for obviously, a private function. The space was perfect capacity for holding approx 15-20 people. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. Although, my wife ordered a Malibu bay breeze & when we ordered a second they told us they had run out of coconut flavored rum. Bummer. :( She was very accommodating nonetheless. The party consisted of wings & mini tacos. I enjoyed the wings immensely the mini tacos not so much. At the end of the open bar bday party, we strolled to the front of the restaurant & joined the regular crowd while a band played hits by John Cougar Mellencamp & Kansas' "Carry on my wayward son" you get the idea. Ordered from here through Uber eats last night and the food was HORRIFIC!!!!!! The burger was burnt beyond belief and it looked like someone just threw chop meat on a bun. The fries came with very disgusting cheese sauce on the side and they were cold and my wings had no sauce on them whatsoever. We couldn't contact Uber for a refund when my husband called in a 2nd time he got told again to call Uber and was hung up on. read more

Our school booked the whole place for a private event (Date Night Auction) and it was a blast. It's a small venue and I can't say anything about the drinks, but I loved the truffle, arugula & goat cheese pizza ($12) that I had - perfect amount of truffle oil and smooth goat cheese on top of mozzarella. The arugula was crisply clean and the thin pizza was more like a flatbread (no tomato sauce). Super good. Service was good and the staff was very cooperative with us during the event. I visited Lucy's, "The Garage " last night. I loved the decor, all the memorabilia. The walls were lined like a gallery, very cool. The band was great, sound, good. Unfortunately, nothing can make up for the vibe, or lack thereof..A couple of things..There was absolutely no seating aside from the barstools, so people were just standing around holding their drinks the entire night. Even a couple of small, tall tables strategically placed would help so much. Another issue, lighting. I assumed, and hoped that once the band got underway the lights would be brought down to a cool, nightclub level. Never happened. Now for the biggest deficit. The bartender/owner and other staffers score a zero in aim to please. There was no sign of eagerness to serve, and make you feel at home. They seemed unhappy and put upon. I literally had to wave my arms to be attended to. There was a "chip on the shoulder" kind of vibe. That lack of desire to please was evident ,and that's a key determinant In whether I would return. I would love to see this place succeed. So much effort and care went into the asthetic, making the bar interesting, colorful, and meaningful. I really appreciate that aspect! I live close by and would like nothing more than to call and consider this place a frequent local hang, but I can't get around this obvious issue. A good vibe is everything to me , and when it's lacking, becomes a deal breaker. I sadly gave this place just 2 stars for those reasons. I hope my review can generate some thought and consideration. I think a nightly meeting before service would help immensely...like.. what are we doing? Why are we doing it ? Attutude is key.. It would be a shame to ignore such important aspects of running a potentially really cool music venue. read more

Unbelievable, a very unprofessional response from the staff and I do not appreciate being called a liar and a drunk. 1. We had not been drinking at all, we had just driven from 45 minutes away to meet up with friends and to get a drink at Lucy's. Which we didn't end up getting, and after the bad taste the encounter at Lucy's left in our mouths we went straight home. 2. It was after 12AM and the band was on the last song of their set. Had it been 11:30 then of course we would have paid. I'm sure the band was great but unfortunately we missed their whole set (And you are correct $5 is what the doorman requested, I assumed $5 each, maybe I was mistaken) 3. The other man outside of the bar was very aggressive and physically threw his cigarette at us. We never said a word to him as he was obviously wasted. What sober person continues to mock someone by calling them turkey face? You can't make this stuff up. 4. The doorman was not pleasant at all. My boyfriend asked him $5? (The only reason he asked was because our two friends had just walked in and were not charged any fee) And he threw a fit and got very nasty very quick. Maybe the whole thing was a misunderstanding? Either way he acted completely inappropriately. I work in customer service and know how to speak to clientele. I'm not sure why he was going to make us pay when the band was clearly ending. If I was the doorman I would have explained that the band was scheduled to end in about 10 minutes and that we could go in after that. But instead he got aggressive. I told the story exactly how it happened because I have never witnessed anything like that in my life. I was so shocked. I did not fabricate any of it. (The only thing I got wrong was the $5 fee) I really wish this would not have happened at all. I wanted to have a good time at Lucy's. I am not sure what the police station has to do with this, but it sounds like you are mentioning them in a suggestive way. Also, if you're going to say we tried to get in at 11:30pm and then end your response and say 1am obviously you are being untruthful. This all happened in less than 15 minutes. I, myself do not live in westchester and have never encountered this level of unprofessionalism. My boyfriend and his entire family live very close to Lucy's and I feel bad that this is what they have to deal with. read more

I recently learned that Lucy's has a brand new menu since their post-pandemic reopening and I've already gone back twice to try more things. Who puts a bar across the street from the police department?! I was in town for Thanksgiving and needed a relaxing place to hang with my cousin. Since there's a plethora of places to in White Plains, it surprised me to find out that Pleasantville's bar scene was so barren. The Scene: Considering the options, Lucy's Lounge was a pretty cool place to hang; in both attitude and temperature. There's a cramped inside hall and a larger outside tent which kept the wind away; but, wasn't heated. There was a live group playing an "interesting" mix of music including "I Got A Feeling" from the Black Eyed Peas with no female vocalist. I give them credit for the attempt; but, the followup song Tubthumping was better. Everyone was pleasant and having a good time; just, don't go there looking for a dance floor. The Drinks: This place wouldn't serve us Irish Car Bombs (a tradition for my family), and the selection of beers on tap wasn't the largest. I do give them credit for featuring a beer from the local brewery (always a plus in my book). Of the two places I went in Pleasantville, Lucy's Lounge was a more pleasant (pardon the pun) place to catch up with friends. If you're not willing to make the drive to the south, Lucy's Lounge is an OK place to dive. read more

This place is really great. I only discovered it a few weeks ago and I've worked in Pleasantville for over a year now. I've walked past it tons of times, but the windows are really dark and the sign is sort of faded. Plus the door you walk in is on the side which doesn't help. Turns out my co-workers go here a lot after work and stuff. It's a great little place. It's right near the train station too which is cool when you want to grab a beer and run. The bartender on weeknights is very friendly and cool. When I asked him what they had on draught, he switched it around and asked me what I liked which was cool. They play pretty decent music and even have live music on some nights. The first night I was there, this dude was playing that used to play keyboard with John Lennon. I thought that was pretty cool. They also have good mixed drinks and stuff too. There are lots of places to sit which always comes in handy. And not just couches and chairs, but actual waist-high tables which is cool because you can lean on something if you're feeling tired--or blasted. The crowd can sometimes get a little too 'sports bar' for my taste, but overall the place is usually filled with cool people. It's a great place to go after work for a drink or two while you wait for the train, something I plan to do often now that I know it exists. read more

A place in mid-Westchester to hang out till 3 (weeknights) or 4 (Fri and Sat), ALLELUJAH! Lucy's bills itself as a slightly upscale lounge, but in the dark, sultrily curtained interior you'll still find TVs to placate sports fans too. They have a great beer selection on tap and in bottles, along with a very long and tempting list of specialty martinis. Basically, Lucy's is looking to please everyone-- 20 somethings who have ever whined about having nowhere to go out late for some drinks in Westchester without gross, skeevy guys materializing dangerously close to your ass and without having to scream to warn of proximity of said skeevy guys, along with those who don't want to be part of the Pace or Manhattanville scene (rumor has it no guys under 23 are allowed), along with 30 somethings on up. I think Lucy's ambitions succeed. I would go back to chat with the girls, or take my boyfriend on a date here, or bring our group of college friends here. If you were judging by exteriors you'd be forgiven for assuming Lucy's Lounge is a dive-- from the outside it's a plain white box of a building with a faded blue sign that you'd be apt to miss, especially at night. With that said, the interior is actually quite nice for a bar: a polished wood counter with nice lighting, clean hardwood floors, and several lounge seats and tables. However, it's also a bit small and the seating is pretty limited, so you're probably gonna be sitting at the bar or standing behind it, which can be limiting depending on what you're there for. Personally, I was there on a date and the band that was supposed to start two hours later was doing sound checks for the first hour and then decided to start their show a half hour early as well. They played pretty loudly and although the music was quite good, my date and I had to try to fit our conversation between songs because talking over the music was impossible. The bartenders were both really friendly and the prices weren't bad either, so if you're here to hear live music / hang out and aren't too interested in talking, this isn't a bad spot to visit. However, if you're looking to have a conversation, you may want to steer clear. read more

I've only been here twice, but I have to say that it is a gem. Laid back, friendly, great musicians on Monday, cheap drinks, cool bartenders. Very, very clean with perfect lighting. Mellow crowd. And 10 seconds from the Metro North station. And Guinness on tap! I rehearse once a month with an Early Music Group in Pleasantville and when our rehearsals run late, and the trains are an hour apart, Lucy's is a welcome haven. You should check it out. read more

Been here a couple times. Good vibe. They normally have live music ranging from jazz to old school rock. The bartenders are really nice and chill. Today i cane for the game with ny bro. They turned their patio into a full blown lounge. Very fancy and clean. I had me some chicken fingers but they were more like toes as they were huge. Crispy and filling. Loved it. I've been here a few times for the music, they bring in a lot of good cover bands. Drinks have always been great! Last time I was here, I came early and noticed people were eating. A man, who I am guessing is the manager explained the kitchen is new. I asked what was good, he seemed like he didn't know much about the menu, and a little nervous. Where was a server? Better yet, why is there NOTHING advertising there is food here now after how many years??? The manager said it is on facebook, OK, not everyone follows a facebook page. Very lame excuse. No wonder no one was there on a Saturday to eat dinner. Manager needs to get things straight. We moved to the bar the bartender made the best pomegranate martini I have ever had. I asked for it to not be too sweet, she explained to me how she makes it, told me I could try it and if I didn't like to get something different. She was great and I had THREE martinis, so good! Live music, later on in the evening, is a noble effort, but bands are local and, hey, this ain't Athens Georgia... But when I say great bartenders, I mean it. Probably the only bar I really like in Westchester County these days. Not loud (unless the band is playing), great outdoor space, extremely cool and friendly bartenders, and not ruined by underage or immature 21-23 yr olds. Really the best place around the hood to chat with a good selection of drinks.
