~~~~FOOD~~~~ We've only had brunch here but really want to give the dinner menu a shot eventually, given there's a lot of attractive options there. Also I keep forgetting there's a special menu (I will attempt to remember to try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes one day). Nutella Stuffed French Toast is a kid/family favorite. If you like nutella, get it -- it doesn't disappoint. There are brulee'd bananas on top (y'know, balance). Shakshuka: great flavor, interesting when I asked someone who usually orders this several times that the texture has become less thick? She said she used to need a fork and knife to eat it; Either way, I quite enjoyed it (expect: more soup-y). Comes with pita on the side to schlop up all the soup. A few grape tomatoes and chickpeas inside as well. NOTE: this is my very first experience of a shakshuka, but my toddler liked it (mild spicy). BLT: might need more sauce, but delicious dipped into the shakshuka. Fries are good. Southern BBQ eggs benedict were very good. Cannoli pancakes were fun but on the sweet side for me -- maybe would've been better with smaller sized chocolate chips. Huevos Rancheros: not as expected / our least favorite -- look at the photos before ordering. They come with chips rather than a soft tortilla. Not really expecting crunchy chips for a breakfast/brunch item. Maybe lunch/dinner appetizer. ~~~~DRINKS~~~~ Iced Coffee Flight: they change up the flavors every so often. First Time I went (July 2024): Salted Honey, S'mores, Double Chocolate, Banana Milk Banana milk was a surprising conversation starter, for sure! I also really enjoyed the salted honey. Current (May 2024): Teddy Graham, Cupcake, Ube, Cinnamon Toast Crunch -- if you're not a cinnamon fan, skip this round (teddy graham and CTC are both very cinnamon-y). I didn't taste what made cupcake its namesake (aside from the cake on top). The ube flavor was very weak (only a light amount in the cream, the coffee didn't have any ube flavor, just plain iced coffee). As an ube lover, this missed for me. Oreo Latte: this one was more delicious to me than the current coffee flight, but the main part was the icing and cookie bits on top of the coffee -- definitely has to be mixed in to get the "oreo" effect. Mocha Latte: this was too bitter for me Their drink specials all sound interesting -- might come back to try the crumb cake latte or toasted marshmallow latte. They no longer give out the free carrot cake mini's (we got some on our first visit). New: you can pay by QR code on the receipt on your phone! It's very convenient (I did not see any automatic gratuity on it). VERY family friendly, attentive staff, even when short staffed, and all around fun spot to go to. When I found out that Tasty Table offered coffee flights, I knew I had to come back. Came in on a Sunday where it was busy but we only had to wait for 15 minutes. They do have an option to call in a half hour prior to arriving to put your name down, but for some reason we couldn't get through. We started off with the coffee flights. The white mocha flavor was my favorite out of the four. Note: during this time they only offer them hot. Which means, I need to return for the iced ones! I'm a true eggs Benedict fan so I went with the smoked salmon. Two of my other friends got the avocado Benedict and the chicken and waffles. During brunch the waiters sometimes come around with samples of their baked items and they gave us cinnamon biscotti to try. The perfect amount of sweet! The parking is horrendous and to wait 30 min while 2 tables are open for 15 min makes you question if some people are allowed reservations. It's over priced and nothing special. Went on a Sunday during brunch hours. They don't take reservations. We waited 35 mins for 6 of us to get seated, which was worth every minute of waiting. Service was great. The place is really small but cozy and well kept, very clean. The food was very tasted. I had the brunch burger and the fluffy French toast that was split between my wife and I. Shareable starters we had the ricotta and blueberry poppers (6) total and cinnamon bun flight, which i highly recommend. I had the mimosa flight for a drink and the others ordered the pink drink. Ossining, NY: Great brunch today with friends! We got there a few minutes after it opened and it was already busy. Everyone loved what they ordered: brunch pizza, salmon benedict, nutella french toast and breakfast fried rice. Delish! I was surprised to read the recent reviewer that had a bad experience based on the restaurant being busy. The owner greeted us and explained that with the customers already seated they needed to wait to seat us (even though tables were available outside)... we asked if we could sit outside while we waited, which we did understanding it might take a little time for our server to greet us, take order and bring drinks. It wasn't a huge wait but we appreciated them explaining the situation to us. Bottom line, Be kind when leaving reviews. This is a family owned business with a ton of good reviews They offer great food in a charming restaurant with a personable team (shout out to Sabrina)! Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances... they explained they had challenges with hiring some new staff recently which has caused some delays from the kitchen (don't worry, they are still sending out great food). I live in the area and have seen many places come and go in this space over the DECADES but I really hadn't given much thought to actually going but I decided to try it with a friend for brunch and came away with total surprise. The food and service both were extremely good. I had Eggs Benedict served with a small salad and fries (don't like hash browns) and I can't say enough good things. The food was very, very good! My friend had a BLT which I had thought about getting and his only complaint was about the ciabatta roll it was served on being a little hard (but then this is what ciabatta is, a bread with a hard crust). The service was great, attentive but not to the point of annoyingly so. The only caveat is, it is a small space. There is limited seating capacity through no fault of the restaurant itself, that's just the size of the place so, if you come during peak times? Well, you ARE going to have to wait and that's just a simple fact. Parking is available but at peak times can be difficult. Overall though it was a truly pleasant surprise and I will be going back. Food is good enough but the service is not what I expected or previously experienced. The chairs for indoor tables are incredibly uncomfortable. There are no menus so had to scan a QR code to see menu. Our server took our order and never came back until the end with the check. I had to stop wait staff passing by to request more maple syrup for pancakes. No one brought water to our table and when I requested water the waitress never returned. 10 minutes later a waiter returned with a cafe filled with room temperature water. I observed waitstaff behind the counter on their cell phones. Probably not worth another trip to Tasty Table. Service was inattentive, as no water was brought to our table. The California omelet lacked flavor, the potatoes were cold, and the side salad came without dressing. The shrimp Benedict had an interesting presentation but arrived lukewarm. Overall, the meal was disappointing and this place is not worth recommending. We arrived on Easter without a reservation but were accommodated by sitting at the counter which was nice since they weren't regular stools. There were plenty of people working and service was great! We ordered the pear flatbread special, the brown sugar butter biscuits, mimosa flight, pink drink, cannoli pancake and steak and eggs. Have been following this establishment for a while now on Instagram & I finally checked them out. It's a 46-minute drive from my home. There is a parking lot available, but not so many spots are available for this establishment, so I parked on a residential side street. When walking in, we were told by hand "one minute ", and then when the hostess came over, she asked how many & for a phone number & they would let us know when they are ready. There were plenty of tables available, so I don't know what that was about. I then received a text message saying I was added to the wait list & it would be a 15-minute wait. My name was called within 5 minutes. We were seated right next to the counter where they do all their transactions & could overhear all the conversations about which table gets what. After sitting at the table for 10 minutes, a waitress came over to ask what she could start us off with.. no hello,no name given. I must say the 3 flight mimosas were great! The pancakes were drier than I like so I didn't finish them & the empanadas were good even though they gave us bean & cheese when we asked for pork(you get 4 empanadas & choose which kind you want). My friend enjoyed her eggs Benedict meal. It's a cute setup. Very busy on Sundays, but there was plenty of staff working for the waitress to be more attentive. I would like to come back to try their lunch/dinner menu. Unfortunately, due to the lack of attention of the staff & the wrong empanadas, I will give 4 stars. read more

I also got the shakshuka, which was pretty good but I wish my egg had been cooked a bit more (the whites were still clear). The tomato sauce also could've been seasoned more with cumin or paprika. If I came back, I would stick to the traditional American diner dishes, as that's what they do best! Update to my review - Based on the owners' response - I am changing my review to a 1. I initially gave it a 3. The owners' response is consistent with all of their posts. Lisa doesn't respond well to criticism. And cannot take feedback at all. Let me be clear.. the picture I posted on my story was of the drinks because in my post below, I said I enjoyed it. Additionally.. if you look at the chicken and waffles on their social media and compare it to my attached photo - it's a night and day difference. If this is cook-to-order and orders take a while, then we should have been made aware of that. I ate the "WHOLE THING" because I ordered it would never return food. A few people came to us multiple times to tell us the food was on its way out. We ordered chicken and waffles and steak and eggs. Finally, when it did, my chicken was burnt... I guess that's the way they cook them? But it was also no flavor. The crispness of the chicken was good.. but it lacked flavor. The fries were also overcooked with no salt. My friend ordered steak and eggs, and his steak came out rare.. he asked for medium. We talked with the owner about our order, and she was very generous and refunded my chicken and waffles. While I wouldn't go back, I think it's a nice brunch spot for families and locals to enjoy. read more
