I tried this cafe in Chappaqua today with my sister and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The food was not good -- the croissant was hard and stale and tasted far from fresh. What was even worse was the service. The white male cashier on the right side had a terrible attitude from the start. He handed me only half of my meal without saying the rest of the order was still coming. When I asked about the remaining portion of my meal, he snapped at me and raised his voice, saying "the rest is coming out" in a very rude and sneering manner. I would have asked to speak with a manager, but I was pressed for time. It's really a shame that some young employees are not trained properly in customer service and basic professionalism. Between the poor quality food and the terrible service, I would never return to this place. read more

I've visited their other stores and it's always hospitable and friendly. Their breakfast sandwiches are always fresh! Calling out name when orders are done awkward but it works. Delicious looking pastries. Grab and go convenient when in a rush. Cool to have a decent place right at the train station. Service is ok/good. Make sure to go right up to counter first thing and order before it gets too busy. Go on off hours to avoid heavy crowds and very limited seating. This is one of those places that has been so hyped up and I don't understand why. I went to the Somers location a few months back with a friend and was really disappointed after all the rave reviews I heard from people I know. Went to the Chappaqua location yesterday, had the Hot Chick and my daughter had the Lil Vodka Chicken and they had good flavor but neither was anything great. You definitely can get better sandwiches at a good local deli - like M&R in kisco. The baguette is too crunchy so the roof of your mouth gets scratched up, and the chicken cutlets are very thin. The ends of the two halves of the sandwich had nothing in them. $15 for each sandwich - just not worth it. read more

I got the number 1 on a gluten free roll with no cheese and the creamy siracha sauce on the side since I wasn't sure I'd like it & with the intention of putting my own vegan cheese on it when it arrived. This sandwich didn't even need cheese- it was so flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The creamy siracha sauce was actual crack in a container, so yummy & had the perfect amount of spice that elevated the flavors of the sandwich but didn't burn my tastebuds off. While I did not have the cinnamon roll due to it not being GF, my bf said it was the best cinnamon roll he has ever had & is in agreement of giving them 5 stars read more

While the coffee and pastries were excellent, the wrap that I ordered was nothing special. In fact it was kind of soggy and a bit undercooked. I very much like the atmosphere and they really were quite busy so the food did come out fairly quickly, but unfortunately, it's one of those places where they call your name and the girl calling my name had a heavy accent. She kinda questioned why I took so long to recognize her butchering of my name. Went to Bobo's a couple of weeks ago for breakfast with my husband and enjoyed my favorite -- their egg wrap with vegan sausage and vegan queso. So yummy. When I placed the order, I saw they had these massive bagel bombs - they look like a super-sized Bantam Bagel bite. So of course I ordered one today, and even more obvious: I have no regrets. The bagel shell is really perfect and honestly hardly indulgent. It's the cream cheese that probably makes it unhealthy. That said, I would like to make an official recommendation that they swap out the vegetable cream cheese in the everything bagel "bun" as they call it with scallion cream cheese. It's a much more appealing combination. The red pepper in the vegetable cream cheese is just a tad too competitive with the everything seasoning on the bagel. I really just love this place and am so glad that they've been able to weather the storm of COVID. read more

Bobos is LIFE is the best way I can describe my love for Bobo's. From overnight oats to a freshly baked goodies to the staff smiling from the moment you walk in. All the staff is wonderful but the Ridgefiled staff always remembers faces and names. I love the seating selection and the outdoor seating especially during summer time and I can bring my dog and sit outside, Or even grab a to go coffee and go on a nice walk with Teddy From the Drinks to the Food you must try this place you will fall in love. I just want to say typically their food is amazing and I never had an issue before 2 days ago. I ordered avocado toast & it seemed like day old avocado? I couldn't even eat it which sucked because I was at work when I realized and couldn't go back. The egg was also a little raw. I ended up sucking it up and eating half (one egg was perfect) & throwing out the rest. For their prices, I would expect fresh, green avocado & not brown/ nasty avocado. The sunny side egg being a little raw just topped it off. I will say the staff is always really nice & the coffee is the best in town. Would recommend their egg sandwiches. read more

Every time I go for a sandwich, I know it's going to take at least 15 minutes. My advice, always order ahead at Bobo's. Also, seating options are very lackluster, leading to people fighting for a single table, most of the time dirty, during lunch rush. I have had a few items on they're menu and typically haven't been bad until I tried the Quesadilla. The Quesadilla is mostly onions and made on a whole wheat Tortilla. I purchased bacon with it which they just threw in the box instead of putting it in the quesadilla. The quesadilla is by far the worst item on the menu. I will not be ordering that ever again.
