    Breakfast Sandwich

Met my son for a quick lunch here today. Such a cute little place. So clean and service is great. Ordered deviled eggs which been years. It was a pleasant change and we loved them I ordered shakshuka omg it was so tasty The sauce was insane a great dish. My son ordered breakfast sandwich. He loved it. The bacon jam changed the dish. My wife had the chicken sandwich. Nice big Brie roll with perfect grilled chicken. Super fresh and waitress was awesome. Parking lot across street. Prices not bad.

Oh Freddy. Freddisimo. Grandissimo. One of the grandest burgs in all the land. And that comes from a me, an honorable Half Yelper - Half Man (may I say, with a tan.) Freddy. Freddy. Freddy. Where have you been all my life? I had a hankering for you without knowing you existed. I listened to the wind. I subscribed to the grape vine. I pay a pigeon and an owl to deliver me news. All pointed me to your direction. My lust knew no bounds prior to my attendance and approval. It made no sense given I didn't know an actual soul who had been here, but you always had my trust and you have not let me down. Tucked pleasantly into the most pleasant of villes, Pleasantville - I decided it was finally time to try. I argued with my sweet thang for months that a place where I was going to get a burger was still a great date night spot. Modern upscale, I yelled at her continuously. Old and declining, is was she yelled back at me... but that was a personal jab. She knows I'm not the man I was, at least visually, mentally, physically, emotionally and socially. Cruel and unreasonable if you ask me. I have a mirror. I know, lady. But anyways... I FINALLY convinced her to join me at our debut Freddy's outing. We enter in and that modern upscale that I yelled came to life. A cozy but uppity ambiance. A mixture of booths, tables, window seats and a bar. More than dimly lit but not overly bright. Tight but spacious. Homey, yet clear you are out of home. The service is fantastic. It's timely without a rush, it's friendly without crossing boundary, it's helpful yet playful. So, for those concerned with service and ambiance - You will have a great experience in this department. But the department I specialize in, or so says my followers and my ever growing stomach, is the food department. I'm here to eat. It's as simple as that. And my oh my did I eat. And did I eat again. And have I ate again since then. Yes yes yes and yes. Truly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Multiple other customers actually outwardly told us, unprompted, to have the burger. Da bacon jam. Don't forget da bacon jam! They shouted. I listened - good communicator. It goes both ways. The excitement reached my paws which were filling with steam and lashing out on my quads. Rubbing back and forth in agonizing anticipation. And then the burger arrived. The eighth wonder of the world. Look how gorgeous that presentation is. The most beautiful burg-squirt my piercing oculars has laid eyes on. Sesame seed bun. Perfectly sized burg. Onion on the bottom. Bacon jam. A pickle. Cottage fries. Ketchup. If my eyes could eat they'd already have given this a 10/10. My tongue waggled out of its vessel and drool drowned my brazen beard. The first bite... I saw the heavens open and JC gave me a wink. It wasn't my time to go. And thank goodness because I had more bites to take. Juicy. Charred. Perfectly cooked. Bacon jam contrasting the onion so perfectly sized and placed. Poetically organized yet messy. And then the Cottage Fries? My oh my a heck of a guy. You could order these fries alone and leave more than content, possibly happy if you're so wired to ever be happy you miserable muppet. And if you can never be happy, you still may get a wave of joy. Anyways. I've since gone for brunch, for lunch and for dinner. I've brought friends, family and enemies. All applauded. I've seen and tasted soup, French toast sticks, salads, cocktails, bennys, burgers, chicken and salmon. All I can say is you gotta wear at least two pairs of socks, because this place will certainly knock off the first pair. And don't wear your grotesque socks with holes that you've had for a decade. Show some class. Do I have to teach you everything? I should be frustrated but I'm talking Freddy's so I'll remain nonchalant rather than full-chalant. Freddy's has respect. But it deserves more. More in the form of Michelin. But what does Michelin matter when you have a Linguini Stamp of Approval, which GUARANTEES you that you will have an exceptional meal? Idk. I just don't know anymore. I guess you'll just have to try it out yourself. Don't be afraid of falling in love... life is on the other side of fear, and I'll be near. Have a good day, and make it a great day for somebody else. Linguini wants you to, and I'm sure Freddy would want you to, and Freddy, nor Linguini, is ever wrong.

    Chorizo & Shrimp Burger

From the music to the menu to the decor I am so confused by this place but in a great way Rigatoni Wild boar Ragu, herbed ricotta, Parmesan. Yummm!!! Soo good! Chorizo and Shrimp Burger. Oaxaca cheese, avacado, jalapeno, lemon aoili, house made cottage fries. Delicious! Every bite was tasty. The ingredients paired perfectly Besides the pickle that tasted like it was soaked in a different kind of vinegar everything was devoured Felt like the specialty drinks were great compliments to the meal and ambiance. Also felt the specialty drinks would have been better if about $4 less. Service was friendly and welcoming. Seating is cozy so I hope you get along with your table neighbors like we did.

    Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps

Came here for a delicious date night out with my wife and our infant son after it had been recommended by several locals. Staff, food, and ambiance were lovely. Let's dive in ... Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps (5/5): This starter app-solutely astonished us! The veggies and pork chunks are all a uniform dice with a rich caramelization making this toothsome appetizer the perfect starting dish. There are three pieces in an order but across six small gem lettuce pieces so very splittable among a couple of small group of friends. Spaghetti Limone (5/5): A beautiful al dente thick spaghetti pasta noodle gets coated in a heap of cohesive lemon butter sauce with some herbs. Each bite is rich but it's the perfect sized portion to finish it all without feeling guilty nor overly stuffed. Tavern Burger (5/5): This monster of a burger is well-known here for good reason. It's a hunk of beef with tasty vegetables and you MUST try it with the delectable bacon-jam. I ordered medium rare and got a perfect cook on the meat. They also have gluten free bun options per the menu so all folks can enjoy this item! Service (5/5): We called in advance to inquire about high chairs and subsequently made a reservation for two plus said high chair. Upon arriving the table was set for us three. Servers and staff were attentive throughout the ordering process and meal! We heard the owner serving patrons at the bar and he seemed very friendly and knowledgable. TL;DR: Fantastic food and service -- and will need to try their dessert cocktails next time we're in! Absolutely on the repeat list!

I looked forward to checking this spot out for a while now, as they keep popping up on my Tiktok..We got there a few minutes before 3pm and saw an "open for lunch" sign on the window..perfect! Were seated and I was surprised the place was empty..met the waitress who was very nice and who explained that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes and would open at 5pm for dinner..no problem, I attempt to exuse myself and my wife and definitely didn't want to impose or ruin the downtime of the staff..as we tried to leave we were encouraged to stay by every single staff member and (who I took to be the owner)..against my better judgment, I resumed our stay and we ordered food and a bottle of wine...not their fault, but it was a very awkward situation that I inadvertently inserted myself into..dining while the restaurant was closed and the owner and all staff sat feet away and tasted wine from a vender who was there well timed during the 2 hour down period..Again, the awkwardness was on my part and not their fault at all..I just really wish I went with my gut and left to return another day to witness a true lunch service...Well at least being the only customers there and the owner only feet away, (its a small and very cute place..very "Soho'ish") The owner will definitely come say hi ( I very much enjoy meeting the owners / managers, introducing myself, getting some names for me Yelp...) NO such luck..just ignored by everyone but our server for the entire time..Oh well..My hopes of being asked my opinion on some wines didn't materialize either..lol look I know its a small thing and maybe I'll go back for a dinner service..but it really was a great opportunity for the owner / manager to introduce themselves, tell me about the establishment, and personally welcome us ( especially because it was obvious by our blunder of visiting during their break in service, combined with all the photos I was taking, that it was our first time there)..Oh well, is what it is..Anyway, food was good..Definitely a bit disappointing baded on the Tiktoks ive seen..decent burger and my wife (The French Onion Soup Queen), found it to be over sweet and lacked Richness. Wings were ok, The Beet salad was yummy but was very cheese forward and beet lacking. In closing a cute place in a cute town..but in my humble opinion not living up to the hype..Still a charming spot to grab a bite or a drink. ENJOY!

    Bread pudding - so good!
    Meagan D.

Came on a Sunday morning during restaurant week and really enjoyed it. I started with the deviled eggs. They were so simple but it was nice - classic. I then got the BEC sandwich and it was amazing!! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the cheese and bacon jam were delicious. I was also a big fan of the fries/chips. 100%. For dessert, me and 2 friends split the bread pudding, chocolate mouse thing (can't remember exactly what it was), and brownie. We all enjoyed each of the desserts - bread pudding was my favorite. While the place is small, you don't feel like you're packed in - and it's not too loud. I hate small restaurants that are too crowded and loud, but this didn't have that problem. Every table was taken so reservations are probably required. Parking is a pain, but you can always park in the lot by Starbucks or across the street near chatterbox. I would go back again to try the dinner menu.

I love this restaurant! It just keeps getting better and better. Definitely in my top 10. I went during restaurant week and tried a few new things. For starters, we ordered the arancini in the sun choke toastones. Omg!! The arancini were delicious with a great bechamel sauce. I had never had sunchokes before, but they are my new favorite thing! they were so crispy and delicious, reminded me of artichokes. Love them! For entrées, we ordered their signature burger, which is always outstanding as well as shaved Brussel salad which is one of my all-time favorites. For dessert, we had to try the bread pudding and a little mason jar dessert. Both were top-notch. The service is always great here. Love this place!

This place is a hidden gem! I drive through pleasantville all the time and had no idea this restaurant was here. I made a brunch reservation for 12:30 on a Sunday for three people. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded which was nice. The hostess seated us right away. Our server, Jessica, was the best. She was so nice and checked on our table often. I can never decide between savory or sweet so I got both! The biscuits were so good. They were perfectly flaky and buttery, and the honey butter it came with was delicious. I like to try the French toast whenever I go out to brunch and this one did not disappoint. The breakfast sandwich alone is enough for me to come back. I'll be dreaming about the bacon jam. I had never had cottage fries before, but now this is the only way I want them served to me. I felt like everything was reasonably priced and affordable. For four entrees, a shared small plate and two bottles of Prosecco, our bill came out to less than $45/pp. Now I want to come back and try their dinner menu!

    Tuna tartare
    Alexandra K.

Another slam-dunk. Came here with my sisters and mom, all of whom were visiting. Tried the tuna tartare and it was like if a conventional tuna tartare and crispy rice with spicy tuna had a baby. Who knew the tot-style shape was the perfect vessel for crispy rice? I could have had 10 of these. The veggie burger was also great; this lentil-lover was in heaven. For dessert, I indulged in the caramel brownie which was such a flavorful experience and the texture and richness were unlike any other sweet treat I've ever had. Oh, and, as always, the service was unparalleled.

    Huge shrimp and chorizo burger

One of the best restaurants in westchester, probably the most creative and fun. Their chorizo and shrimp burger is one of a kind and is incredible. The smoked chicken is actually Smokey (many tend to disappoint when saying it's smoked, but theirs does not disappoint) and is perfectly roasted. Burgers were also amazing, and the staff and environment were fun and cool / very hospitable. We'll definitely be back often.

Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly/attentive staff. Needed early dinner in Pleasantville, worked out well that Freddy's only had availability "early". Reserved for 5 pm, 2 people. My friend chose this spot because 1) they had been meaning to check it out and 2) they said they know I'm a "foodie" and the menu looked good Started with purple asparagus appetizer special of the day to share and it was VERY good. We each had a glass of the house rosé which was delicious and not too sweet. For our mains - I ordered the tavern burger cooked medium and paid extra for the bacon jam, my friend is gluten-sensitive and had the risotto. The burger was a little more well done than I prefer but was tasty and a good portion. Since it came with the cottage fries I asked for no bun so I can't comment on the bread. The bacon jam was GREAT. Honestly I think that the bacon jam was what made the burger great and made up for it being more on the well-done side instead of medium. Otherwise, the burger wouldn't have been above and beyond. My friend loved the risotto. The confusing thing is that it is labeled as gluten-free and vegan, but the description mentions parmesan. We didn't bother asking for clarification on whether or not it was actual parmesan (which would make it not vegan) since my friend had no preference of dairy vs vegan.

I am vegetarian and while they have a bunch of veggie appetizers I was disappointed in the complete lack of any vegetarian entree. It's 2026. They have some creative cocktails, GF tried the margarita and liked it enough that she ordered a second. I ordered something with a cheeky name that I believe had vodka and something citrusy/floraly that I also enjoyed. Something kind of strange though, maybe 5-10 minutes after ordering our drinks, another person came over and said "the person who took your drinks didn't get the last 2 so what did you order?" People make mistakes, I get it. Idk how anyone remembers shit anyway but maybe write it down? Either way, it felt strange that someone else came over to say that. It just felt odd. Fortunately our drinks came but we had to flag someone down to order that second margarita later. I ordered the cauliflower and kale soup and the cauliflower fritters mainly because they were 2 of the very limited things I could order but the waiter was a little judge judy (cauliflower soup AND cauliflower fritters?) yes, my guy. The cauliflower and kale soup was under salted which I actually appreciate. I hate when anything is over-salted to the point of drowning out the other flavors. I am impressed by their confidence in the soup to NOT do that but it didn't really stand on its own and was a touch bland. The fritters, on the other hand, were sensational. That roasted beet aioli was delicious and the crispness of the outside of the fritters was a lovely texture. 3/4 of us got our food at least 5 minutes before the last person which is not ideal. Portions were also surprisingly small for the prices.

My husband got the braised short rib and again that was just okay. We ended with the banana bread pudding which was amazing.

I had never actually been to Southern Table, I had only ever had takeout from there once or twice,…read morebut I have been wanting to try it for ages and I have to say it was worth the wait. We went on Easter for brunch, which we decided to do last minute and they let us know they could squeeze us in. We sat on the screened in patio. They were massively busy, but the staff was on their toes, checking in, taking away empty plates, being very kind (even though they were clearly crazy with how busy they were). We started with the Brie stuff pretzels. They were more like pretzel sandwiches (pretzel sticks cut in half with Brie in between), but were really tasty. It was all so good, I kept forgetting to take pictures until after we had already dug in. The pretzel app came with 4 pretzel/brie sandwiches. We also got the spinach an artichoke dip. It came with a nice amount of chips (hate when they give you too few and then you're just left with gobs of dip and nothing for it). It also came with salsa and sour cream, which seemed odd, but was nice for the extra chips and also family friendly if the dip didn't appeal to kids. The dip itself was really nice, it didn't taste as rich as spinach and artichoke dips often are. I could really taste the spinach, but in a good way. Usually dips like that make me feel overly full and are so heavy, this was a refreshing take on it. We got the Dutch baby pancake, the kids Mac and cheese, the pimento cheese and ham omelet (which I got scrambled), chicken and waffles, and the hot honey chicken. Overall, the food was delicious. It takes familiar dishes and presents them with a bit more care and a bit more intention. You taste that difference almost immediately. The food doesn't just satisfy; it reassures you that it was made thoughtfully. Of course, that level of care comes with a price, and you feel it. But in most cases, the quality justifies the cost. You may hesitate when ordering, but not when eating. The undeniable centerpiece is the Bulleit Burger. It's rich, balanced, and memorable in a way that lingers beyond the meal. If you're ordering from Southern Table, it feels less like an option and more like an obligation. Most of my experiences have been through takeout, which has held up well. Still, dining in offers its own appeal. The space is large and comes with an easy, welcoming energy that works well for a casual night out. Highlights: * Bulleit Burger * Elevated presentation and ingredient quality * Consistent execution across visits Lowlights: * Pricing is on the higher side
