I have lived in Ossining for many years and finally got around to trying Karma Lounge for lunch on…read morea gloomy Monday. My girlfriend and I decided to share the very generous portion of paella. The rice in the paella was absolutely delicious and there was a good assortment of seafood. My only criticism if any was that it was a little bit oily as we worked our way down to the bottom of the dish. We ate plenty each and had plenty to take home. We then decided to try the desserts. I had the bread pudding or Tres Luce (spelling?) and she had the flan. Both were delicious but unfortunately, towards the bottom of each, we discovered that they had just recently been frozen. They hadn't quite thawed out at the bottom! The service was excellent - warm and inviting. I wish I could've given an extra star, but between the frozen deserts decide and the oily paella I couldn't.

Karma is a good staple in Ossining where there aren't too many nice sit down restaurants. It's…read morealmost always near empty (not sure why) so you'll never have to wait which is a plus. Their skirt steak and lomo saltado are amazing, shrimp burrito very tasty, and you absolutely must end with the churros. My biggest complaint is service is slow which is strange because I've never seen it busy and it can get frustrating waiting around for someone. And though the decor and space is really nice, the lack of people doesn't make for a fun and/or lively atmosphere which I find really important for any restaurant experience.

Forgot to take a whole picture! Came here to celebrate my grandma and aunts bday. Have been coming…read morehere a lot of times. As usual staff are really accommodating! They also see to it that we get what we want and took their time to explain everything! The food is good and drinks are fantastic, hopefully they lessen the ice. But so far it has been always a great experience eating here. :) Only thing is their bathroom can improve when it comes to cleanliness. Other than that we will be back!

What a Huge Disappointment, Noches! I've been coming to…read moreNoches for years--starting with the Englewood location, then supporting this one since day one when we moved up here. I've been to just about every Noches in Jersey. Sure, sometimes they've fallen short, but I always stayed loyal. This morning I went for takeout and ordered my usual: chorizo, chicharrón, and pan de bono. When I got home and opened the bag, I was honestly shocked. For seven dollars, what I got was basically nothing. The portions were insulting--barely a bite of food--and yet the prices keep climbing higher and higher. I understand costs have gone up, but there's a big difference between fair pricing and blatantly ripping off loyal customers. This was the latter. After all these years of supporting Noches, today felt like a slap in the face. Sadly, you've lost a customer who used to recommend you everywhere. If this is how you treat your regulars now, I can only imagine how first-timers feel.

Found this place while on a walk and it definitely hit the spot. A new morning/coffee favorite …read more Everything is fresh and the dishes are pretty big and satisfying. They have Karaoke nights too. They have a nice bar and a good selection of drinks, not beers on tap tho. Everyone is nice and they all usually seem to like working there. Paid parking is all around

There was some confusion when we arrived. The waitress spoke zero English but they do comprehend…read moreher Spanish. Me I speak and understand a good amount but communication with her was atrocious and we realized she didn't want us here. It was 7:45 and they were breaking down the front line. She told us they close at 9. They are advertised to be open until 10 pm and I showed her They had no sancocho no soup? She didn't bother to ask the kitchen. The same with Morcilla. She didn't ask the kitchen. We ordered 2 of the same plates and 1 order of Salchipapas . The dish was Grilled steak chicken chorizo and Chicharron. . She asked what sides my daughter wanted ( accompaniment) gave her a choice rice beans avocado plantano maduro tostones and fries.. For my order ( exactly the same dish) I was told no I do not have a choice and if I wanted fries instead of the sweet plantains she would be selling me an order of fries and not giving me the sweet plantains.? What? So I just went along with her . The food was prepared fresh with great seasoning and looked presentable. The chorizo was the worse part of the disk. It was overcooked and chewy like a shoe. The restaurant is casual. Not fancy at all but. Very clean. Buyer beware it was me a toddler a teenager and a 20 year old. She added an 18 percent tip to the bill. The restaurant was empty only is. She stood in the dining area and never once checked on us. We were very uncomfortable with her so we took most of the food to go and I reduced the tip amount.

Empanadas are still good and the other items available might have been sitting since the morning. The inside it super dark and I thought it was closed at first, Overall, it's an ok Noches, just not busy like the other locations I go to so the freshnesses seemed to take a hit.

Came here on a Friday night. We were a party of 4, but we were still waiting on 2 people to arrive…read more They sat 2 of us immediately, but we waited about 20-25 minutes for anyone to come by and see if we wanted to order any appetizers/drinks. When the waiter finally came over, he said he just needed a few more minutes and would be with us shortly. The 2 other guests in our party arrived, and that's when the waiter came over to take our order. As we started giving him our appetizer order, we noticed he wasn't writing anything down. We knew our order would be incorrect; and it was. We ordered 1 chicken empanada, 1 beef empanada, and tostones. When they brought them to the table, we noticed there were 2 beef empanada, no chicken. Taste was bland, definitely missing something. Tostones were DELICIOUS. We ordered 2 diet cokes and a regular coke. I do like that they bring out the entire can of Diet Coke and the glass bottle of regular coke. It isn't fountain soda! Entree order: three of us ordered steaks, and one of us ordered the frijolada. The frijolada was good. I ordered my steak medium and that was a BIG mistake. It was SO red and the taste was terrible. Also very thin and flimsy. The two other steaks were ordered well done and those tasted better, but still very very thin. Dessert: we all ordered the tres leches, and oh my goodness! SOO GOOD!!! Presentation was gorgeous and flavor was great!! Cost: a bit on the pricey side, our bill was $240 for 4 people. The menu items are $1-$2 cheaper if you pay the bill with cash. There is a bakery on one side of the place where you can purchase misc items such as bread! This was cute! Overall, my party had mixed reviews on the food, so this is definitely a spot you should try at least once to make a determination. I'd definitely give it another try and order something else!
