You walk in and it's such a chill environment. The employee's were really nice and inviting. My daughter and I went up to the counter and I ordered my iced chai tea latte. It was ready in a couple minutes so I really couldn't tell if it was 'homemade' or a pre-made mix. It was great, a tad on the sweeter side. I stumbled upon this cute breakfast/coffee place during a blizzard when my plane was canceled. They have the best cold brew with cold foam! The staff is unremarkably kind. It is subtly religious-- ie they have areas where you can fill out a card if you are in need of prayers which I thought was so sweet. When we first walked in the door, I was so excited the place is beautiful. I love all the little things you can buy in the little gift shop. The coffee and the food were amazing and I love the ambience when asking our waiter what he would recommend he pointed out several items on the menu he recommended the cinnamon roll, which is one of my go to, but our food was amazing. I was in the Old Market early on a weekday looking for a place for breakfast with a friend - and this is where we ended up. Neither of us had realized there was yet another reincarnation of this space, so it seemed fitting that they serve "heavenly" waffles. I'll start by saying the cold brew was the most beautiful I have ever seen. There are a few levels to the space and some outdoor seats so we chose the lowest level, looking out to the street, sitting at a table game version of Ms Pac-Man. The staff were worried about our knees, which we found endearing but we stayed and decided this might be the best dining view in the Old Market. We both chose the breakfast skillet with waffle, and were quite satisfied. This is not a restaurant with a 9-page menu, but they don't claim to be, either. You'll find kind people, good coffee, and solid execution of the food you order. I hope they let a long time; we need this kind of consistency and an early-morning in downtown Omaha! read more

I really love the concept of this place! We decided to try it because the kiddos had to use the restroom and the only places you could go around here were coffee places or restaurants. I voted for coffee, so here we went! At The Table Coffee, you go up and place your order and then take a seat wherever there is a seat available! That means you may be sitting by people you don't know, but that's the whole idea behind it all! The Table Coffee offers so many different items. They have coffee, tea, heavenly waffles, pastries, you name it, they may possibly have it! I just ordered my usual, a large iced sugar free vanilla latte made with almond milk. It was tasty, but I'm not sure if the coffee is as strong as some other places. That's okay, I am sure I will still go here when I'm in the area! My family visited Omaha for a weekend getaway and stopped in for breakfast at The Table Coffee. We have two picky kids so I checked out their menu and figured this would do the trick. Drinks: iced chai and warm chai. Both were creamy and had the right amount of spice. The iced chai could've had less ice because it had more ice than drink. Coffee of the day for the hubby was good. Youngest had hot chocolate with whipped cream and she loved it. Food: muffins. My oldest had the banana walnut muffin and she said it was one of the best she's had. The chocolate chocolate chip muffin would've been too sweet for me but was just right for my 7 year old. But the star was the waffle charcuterie board. My hubby and I split it and the kids were immediately jealous. There was something for all tastes. I loved the nutty syrup sauce and the berry spread. We had fresh blueberries and strawberries along with whipped cream and pecans. The waffles weren't overly sweet, and light fluffy. The bacon was crisp, with just the right saltiness to the plate. Ordered coffee and a waffle board to share with friends. Our coffee came out after our food. Pretty sure the waffles are just the Kodiak mix from Costco. Not a lot of flavor or very impressive. The menu says it feeds 4 people but everything on the board comes in threes - 3 eggs and 3 sausage patties making it uneven to split with 4 people. The coffee was subpar and didn't arrive until after our food. We were seated behind the coffee bar and there were 3 men working behind the bar that seemed confused on how to make the drinks. You pay before you're seated so you don't really have a server at your table. It also seems to be a weird religious spot and we didn't realize it right away (which is our fault for not researching it first. It was just very conveniently located below our VRBO in Old Market) Other than the weird religious stuff, the ambiance of the restaurant was nice with a cool blue color paint. Very convenient location but there is much better coffee and breakfast in the area that are well worth the walk. read more

My son and I went here at about 10 am on a Saturday and it was packed. We didn't try the coffee. We only wanted a pastry so we got the oatmeal cookie with coffee frosting, a chocolate muffin and a blueberry muffin with icing drizzle. The muffins were both really good. The cookie was just ok. The Table Coffee is located in a little spot that used to be Java Daddy's and before that a tea shop. The barista knew how to make my favorite flat white, even though it wasn't on the menu. Way to go the extra mile! One of their featured breakfast items is what they call a heavenly waffle with a choice of toppings. It was small by Bookguy's standards and he would have had two, but one was plenty for me. I chose a pecan caramel topping that was very rich and delicious. Bookguy had the breakfast skillet that included something eggy and a waffle. Since he didn't comment on his food at all, I think he liked it. He was not impressed with his Italian soda. I thought it would have a little creaminess to it, but it seemed like it was what you buy at Whole Foods in a bottle. Not bad though. There's a set up in a corner of the space for a musician. I didn't ask about it while we were there, but maybe sometime we'll stop in again to see what that's about. Overall we had a tasty breakfast in a charming cafe. read more

What a wonderful coffee shop! Its so pretty and cozy! Great set up with tables for studying/meetings and some comfy seats for just relaxing.
