Came here on a Saturday morning for a sit down brunch and coffee. The food was good and the server, Emily, was exceptional. Nice and roomy place in downtown omaha, I like their window tables, good views and good for people watching. The reason for three stars, the place wasn't the cleanest, the hostess put a disclaimer right away that it has been busy. Now the baristas, ordered a couple of lattes, one extra hot, first they came in a to go cup rather than a porcelain cup which is the usual for sit down coffee. Then, nothing extra hot, server tried to go back and get it remade but was told that the baristas are too busy making new orders and sent empty cups to transfer the coffee into those ! Emily just came back with empty cups, she tried, got some extra steamed milk to make it hotter but the baristas failed. Originally a coffee shop and they couldn't do that right, need to work on that, busy or not. Still need to sort out some kinks but on its way to be good. The power breakfast sandwich was good and so was the avocado sandwich. read more

I recently visited the new location and found it incredibly charming. The space was adorably decorated with a private room in the back for a small group meeting. They had a selection of comfy couch/love seat, bar, and standard restaurant seating. Plenty of plugins at/near all seating. The staff were inviting and very personable. I ordered a latte which was PERFECT. I look forward to visiting this new location at least once a week to grab my coffee! read more

We enjoyed a family breakfast here. The waffle recipe is really good. They have a nice texture. The waffle boards are a super cute and playful idea that we have not seen before. :) As for the food my husband and I both got the farmers skillet and while it waa good it really lacked vegetables. We would love to see more cooked vegetable varieties added to the options. It was insufficient in healthy fiber. Our server and every other employee we encountered were so kind! They've got good hiring practices. My biggest suggestion would be to source higher quality eggs. It would really add something to this restaurant if you could source farm eggs- given there are probably a lot of small farmers in the general area. The sandwich is made with Heavenly Waffles for the bread, sounds weird maybe but it was fabulous! And take a look at my sandwich- they didn't just slap the meat on - they rolled it and made it look beautiful! The iced mocha was fabulous too. Cozy place and there was a band setting up, we had to leave so I can't say much about that. The peeps at the counter were all friendly and helpful! Our first time so we had questions. This place is so cute! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The customer service is wonderful and so friendly. There's plenty of room to sit and there's free WiFi. (which makes it a great place to get some work done). I decided to try out their coffee, and it was great. I ordered the sugar free caramel iced latte which I really enjoyed. However, there are so many other fun coffee options on their menu as well! I would recommend trying it out on a weekday, since there is a lot more parking at that time. As a first timer they were very helpful going over the menu with me and suggesting a few of the new seasonal items they had for spring. I love how they have flights for coffee and iced tea but I didn't think I would be able to finish one alone so I opted to pass. Instead I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a waffle and a peaches and cream (seasonal) tea. 3/17 turned out to be a lucky day after all because when I went to pay I was told a previous customer left $ behind to cover the next order. Such a blessing and great start to my day. The breakfast sandwich was delicious! Warm, soft waffle full of flavor. Peaches and cream tea was tasty too. It was peach oolong tea with 1/2 and 1/2 and I believe whipped cream on top. The space is decorated very cute and there are plenty of seating areas including tables, a couch or a picnic bench setting. WiFi is free. They share a space with a pub and because of St. Patrick's day it was pretty loud inside at 11am and the shared bathrooms were kind of gross but I'm sure it usually isn't like this so I'll say it was a one time thing. Great location. Not too late to get right. Plus (+) : rosemary white chocolate latte is the bomb. The baristas are very friendly. Minus(-): restaurant suffers from a completely dysfunctional workflow, from entry to exit. Not the fault of the staff. No one owns the customer, therefore none of the staff knows who ordered which drinks and food or which table to bring the food. The food delivery staff walks around the restaurant, carrying food, having no idea to whom it belongs. Would be a Business Grad School project team's dream assignment to redesign this workflow - before the store permanently closes. Took 45+ minutes for our skillets to arrive, skillets that were unremarkable and included obviously sourced frozen cubed potatoes. Best line: Barista yells out name of customer who ordered three drinks. Customer asks which drink was the decaf. Barista responds "I don't know. I did not make them." Decided to come to the Table Coffee company this morning for some coffee and breakfast. It is very spacious inside and has a lot of navy blue throughout which is very pretty. I love the lighting and all the windows. It feels very open and comforting at the same time. It wasn't very busy, but it took a bit to get my coffee and food. Sadly, I didn't like my iced mocha too much as it wasn't as sweet as I was wanting. It was very bitter. My boyfriend enjoyed his iced Americano! The highlight was definitely the loaded waffle charcuterie board!!!! It was incredible. The bacon, sausage, and eggs were all great. There were SO many toppings for the waffles which were all tasty including: butter, caramel, syrup, pecans, whipped cream, raspberry compote, chocolate chips, and honey. I would definitely come back for the waffle charcuterie and try a different coffee sometime. I also would recommend coming if you have a bit of time to hangout as it wasn't the most fast service. We haven't visited this spot since it was the Tea Smith a few years ago. I'm so thrilled to see it is being used to continue slinging warm drinks, a quiet space for a chat or work time, and plenty of friendly faces to greet you. +They carry Heavenly Waffles (basically, a lighter and healthier waffle, with 7g protein, 110 cal, and significantly less sugar) these are delicious! They had an apple cinnamon one for a fall menu and I HIGHLY recommend trying one while they're available! +They offer COFFEE FLIGHTS (and tea!) Unlike some of the others around town, these are predetermined, as in, Board #1 has 4 set drinks, and Board #2 has 4 set drinks, etc. So there is less freedom to pick and choose each individual drink that you get to sample, but they do a great job pairing ones that make sense together. I imagine that this cuts down significantly on the wait time + their price for a board was $16 at the time of my visit, about $10 cheaper than other locations (I would guess in part due to this model). +Their staff is GREAT. They were so friendly and eager to help. We had a toddler with us and they didn't make us feel unwelcome with his noises and curiosity. -the only thing I really wish was different is specific to the LOCATION: we all wish there were windows and natural light, but what they lack in rays of sunshine beaming through, they make up for in hospitality and tasty waffles! read more

When I was in Omaha last week for work, I was looking up places to eat as I usually do. Came across this place on Yelp for coffee and brunch. I wish I had tried it earlier in the week so I could've gone there more than once. That was good my experience was! Three of us ordered the waffle charcuterie board to share. It was amazing! The waffles are tasty and the toppings are great too. It's hard to go wrong when it comes with a side of crispy bacon too. And you kinda just get to mix and match as you'd like! So yes we were happy with the food. However, the star dish of the day was the Brown Sugar Chai I ordered - hot. I didn't take a pic since it was in a to go cup but Wow!! I love Chai and Brown sugar but it's not a super common combination which is kinda what piqued my interest to order it. I asked for half sweetness and it was perfect for me. It's hard to describe it but the flavors went well together and was a perfect balance of sweet, a little spicy (more so you taste the spice, not hot spicy), savory and creamy! I think I would get the drink every week if this place was near me. Also, the owner and workers there are so friendly and nice. The sweetest!! We are visiting from out of state, and were recommended this coffee shop by one of the employees of the Magnolia Hotel, where we are staying. We happened to come on the first day in their new location, and loved it. It's bright and airy with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. When we came in, the lady explained that this was their first day in this location, and they were trying something new, so please be patient with them. I'm guessing the something new was that we ordered as soon as we came through the door before finding our seat. That worked for us as it was pretty quiet, but I would imagine that possibly being a problem when it gets busy. (They may have already decided that and changed the process.) The staff members were all great. Very friendly and helpful, and excited to be doing what they were doing. While we were waiting for our food, my husband and I were going through the cute little question card box that was on our table, which was fun. My husband had their very first Breakfast Skillet, and I had a lemon poppyseed muffin, and both were delicious. We were so pleased with our experience that we planned to go back the next day. The only problem was that they were closed, as it was Sunday, and there is nothing wrong with that, but did manage to find another place, which wasn't quite as good. read more

Great coffee shop in downtown Omaha! This place is kinda attached to Billy Froggs, we kinda had to look around for it and enter a door, walk up a couple stairs and open another door to be inside! We were greeted right away, prices are fair, and there was plenty of seating. Not sure if there was a restroom, I couldn't find one, but I also didn't ask before we left! Blueberry Matcha was 12/10 wow, the waffle charcuterie was good and fun! My friend and I were visiting Omaha for a race. We googled breakfast places, and The Table Coffee got great reviews. We were so happy to have gotten a chance to have breakfast here! The place itself has such an inviting, quaint atmosphere. It was lovely and chill. Our servers were so attentive and checked in with us to make sure all was good. The owner also checked with us. They were all friendly. The meal was delicious. We started with hot chocolate that was creamy and chocolatey. Perfect on a cold, windy morning. I had the Avocado Waffle and my friend had the Farmer's Skillet. Mine was delicious. The avocado was creamy and went well on the waffles. I asked for the eggs cooked well done, and they were perfect. The meal was filling. My friend enjoyed her waffles and side of potatoes mixed with egg and sausage. The food tasted fresh and the flavors went well together!
