Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Haleh M.

Came by today for a quick bite. Got my favorite buffalo chicken sando lettuce wrapped. It was made perfectly. I was there around 12:30/1 and surprisingly there were plenty of seats inside. We got a table right away. Service was quick and everything was delicious. I tried the cucumber Fresca and it was so refreshing.

Southwest Chicken Wrap

I am obsessed with this place. Everything I've ordered on the menu has been a banger. I've tried their chimichurri salad, southwest salad, chinese chicken salad, chili, chicken bites, burgers, but my absolute favorite thing I've tried is their Southwest Chicken Wrap. The flavors and textures of everything in the wrap is so addicting and yummy. They do get busy during lunchtime, but they do validate for parking underground which is a plus. If you dine-in, you order at the counter and can sit anywhere, they also bus your table afterwards. This is one of those spots where you go when you don't know what other people in the group likes, it literally has everything and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Found this place on my way to the Dodgers game. I wanted to try a new burger place, So I did my Googles, and this place came up highly rated. When I walked in, the places was empty, but there were plenty of employees, and they were all nice and helpful. I got the Ultimate Egg, which is a Bacon cheeseburger with an over easy egg, pickled onions. The burger was really damn good and messy, just what a burger should be. I do think the onions should've been pickled longer. They weren't as pickled as they should be, so they had more of a bite than they should. The only other thing that wasnt great was the cost. After Tip my total was around $54. That's alot of a burger, a sandwich, 1 order of fries, and 2 fountain drinks. But if you like a good burger, you won't be disappointed

I've been wanting to eat at The Stand for the longest time. LA is oversaturated with smash burger places, and I was dying to go to a burger place with a nice juicy burger patty that wasn't smashed to the point of dryness. Finally, my wife was craving American food one day, so we made time to come to The Stand to give it a try. Granted, it is a chain, but it's quite good. It has the vibe of a sports bar, but ordering is done at the counter. The staff answered all our questions and helped us quite quickly. They advised us to get the app to help accumulate points, which I did. My wife and I shared and side of fries, but we each got our own burgers. I got a build-your-own burger with beef cooked to medium, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and sweet chili aioli. The burgers took a good 15 minutes to make but they were worth the wait. The burger was super juicy, which was a texture I had missed from eating so many smash burgers. The burger also had a bit of smokiness to it. The sweet chili aioli was basically a spicy mayo but went perfectly with burger and egg. Amazing restaurant, I would definitely come back.

Chimichurri Steak Salad

The Stand is always Amazing, the staff is super pleasant, food is always fresh. Price is very affordable. I really enjoyed the; Chimichurri Steak Salad marinated grilled steak, kale & spring mix, green apple, mint, sliced cucumber, corn salsa, cherry tomatoes, crispy quinoa (460 cal), chimichurri (+190 cal), with charred corn vinaigrette (+150 cal) Can't go wrong with the Stand and the Stand APP is super easy to use.

Great spot for lunch and dinner... There is always something for everyone including Vegetarian and Vegan. The service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is nice and clean. Ordered Cola Drink Chinese Chicken Chop Salad It comes with sliced grilled chicken breast, crispy wontons, crispy noodles, mandarins, sesame seeds, house made chop salad mix (romaine, iceberg, red cabbage, scallions, carrots) and red ginger dressing. it is simple and delicious.

There's street parking or paid lots around here. This location has a good amount of seating for both indoor and outdoor. It's a very chill and relaxing vibe that's great for casual hangout. The staff are nice and really helpful. They have a good selection of menu items and some fun shake flavors. They do ask how you want your burger cooked. You'll get a number and they'll drop off the food at your table. The food arrived pretty quick especially when there were a good number of people ahead of me. The ABC burger was good and juicy. I gotbit medium rare. The bacon was nice and crispy. I ate the whole thing easily. I also gotbthe cookie butter shake. It was good. Not too sweet and good texture from the crunch. I would recommend trying this place out!

Thought I do an updated review since it's been a while. Thanks! Most recently, I tried their Veggie Bliss stacked with a veggie patty, pepper jack cheese, fresh guacamole, pickled red onion, crispy onion strings, sweet chili aioli, on wheat bun. WOW, I was very intrigued by its flavor for a veggie sandwich. Subtle with a huge punch! Another recent try is their Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich 2.0. It is piled with seared ahi tuna (served chilled), spicy thai vinaigrette, crispy onion strings, jalapeño scallion aioli, stand slaw, sesame seeds, scallion, on a gourmet brioche bun. Double WOW, slices of ahi tuna one after another! I stopped counting. I ended up moving the ahi tuna from the bun to the green house salad LOL. Best of both worlds! Every ingredient played a major role in its yumminess. Besides the ahi tuna, spicy thai vinaigrette and crispy onion strings stand out in what makes this an amazing sandwich. At the end of the day, this sandwich is a MUST TRY in my book! I like it better in the sandwich than in the salad IMHO. It was that good!! Staff was super nice and helpful. Service was good. If you park at the Playhouse Plaza structure, The Stand will validate 75 minutes. Just remember your car licence plate so you can enter it in their parking validation kiosk. Thanks The Stand!

Steak salad & sweet potato waffle fries, A-Mazing!

The food and the drink selection was truly excellent. The meal was quite pricey. Not going here on a regular basis for sure, just can't afford that. But that day of lunch was spectacular. I'll be back in few months for another dose.

Food here is very safe, trite, hackneyed California cuisine beaten to death like a worn out horse. It's not ready bad and not very good offending no one, but food that is boring and not particularly drop dead flavourful. I wasn't super hungry and decided to order more of the sides. 1) French Fries with some skin on, looking rustic, had a touch of that ineffable earthy potato flavour. Asked for extra crispy, but just got a bit crispy so their default fries must be rather limp. Standard ketchup in a steel ramekin. 2) Roasted Golden Beet & Arrugula Salad had sweet, softer, smooth texture, Arrugula had a fibrous, good green herbal, peanut oil scented flavour. Not too funky, creamy goat cheese. Roasted walnut halves. All napped with a subtle Champagne Vinaigrette. Portion was about half of what would be expected in other comparable restaurants. 3) Bread Pudding: The bread was spongy, moist, eggy almost like a flan but lacked a deeper dairy, milkiness as well as lack of hints of warm spices such as cinnamon, allspice, ginger, cloves. Bland would describe the general overall flavour. Topped with cream rich ice cream. Scattering of blueberry, blackberry, strawberry. At home, I drizzled on Grand Marnier for more citrus cognac aromatics. 1-3a) Iced Tea The food here seems to be the Midwest version of what California cuisine should be. Middle of the road, steady as she goes, don't rock the boat. Our waitress was efficient, helpful, thoughtful in a business-like manner which facilitated our group of 8. The male helper with a moustache and the inked hand was great at keeping our glasses topped off. 3 stars for a safe, not overly effusive food that does not offend. The outdoor optics holds the charm and strength of this restaurant.

The restaurant itself isn't too big but it does a pack a nice punch. Cute patio out front that takes some of the sidewalks and streets. Plenty of heat lamps which helped with the chilly nights. We got seated at one of the tables on the patios which was nice. Didn't really utilize inside area except for the restroom which it's quite cute in there. The rooms were pretty well decorated and executed. Nice bar area too. Like mentioned, we got seated on the patio and the heat lamps were great. Down to the menus, it's quite limited on dishes. Seemed like there were more shared plates versus the entrees. Drinks, it was fairly decent with their cocktails and wine. Service at the beginning was great. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We didn't order right away as we were still waiting for the last one to show. But did start off with some drinks. It didn't take that long for the first round which was nice. Food wise, the shared plate was a mixture of everything. Some of the olives, which is exactly what it is. The Belgian fries, nice thick cut fries with shredded pecorino cheese and a nice aioli sauce. We ended up getting a second order of it. The albacore tuna crudo was a hit which was really tasty. Chili ginger relish, mint and shallot, can't go wrong with that. Lastly the meatballs, tasty and very great for sharing. Entrees, the pan seared sea bass which I loved. Portion is pretty tiny which also seemed like they were a shared plate. Almost tapas styled. Nice chimichurri sauce and a side salad. The chicken Milanese also with a side salad of arugula. Simple dish but quite tasty. One of the salads that was somewhat hyped up by the waitress but it was just a salad. Decent but nothing major to rave about...lol... also the confit oyster mushrooms was major hit. Something that simple but quite tasty. And lastly the pan con tomate, rustic sourdough with tomatoes and burrata. Tasty as well. Overall the meal was good. From there, the second round of drinks did take a long time to arrive and with then plates that we shared, trying to get someone to clear the plates was another thing. Took a long for someone to clear the table before more items came. Even when the entrees came, all the empty starter plates were still there. And if someone did clear the plates, some was still left on the table. Finishing off the night, we did have the dessert which we tried all three. As it was two of our girlfriends birthday, they brought out a little bubbly for us to celebrate with the dessert. That was quite sweet and nice. Honestly opinion with the dessert, they were just ok. Nothing major to rave about. We tried all three on the menu and they were just ok. Overall, the food was great. Service was nice and the staffs were all very friendly. It did take a while for plates to get cleared from the table and second round did take a while, but it was manageable. It was a sweet gesture with the bubbly with the dessert which was greatly appreciated. The place is nice and great for catching up. Menu is limited and portions are quite small. You would have to get a good amount for sharing. Entrees, depending on what you order is small as well. But we enjoyed ourself.

But the quality is definitely there. Ambiance: trendy, high energy, casual vibes where u can lounge and have a beer while munching on fries...or u can choose to be poshy and have a glass of wine with a salad and Chilean sea bass.
