First time at stage and I would say the experience was amazing. It's a hidden gem with beautiful live music and the garden they have is such a vibe. Service was fast and professional. We had to ask for another place setting multiple times and refills were slow and far between. As far as the location, parking was a bit tricky, but it is super private and tucked away. Was there this Sunday. Very bad service. First of all they tried to push the expensive package menu because, according to them, they didn't have enough food of the cheaper package. Note that there were only 3 other smaller groups the entire time we were there. So they were not busy. Next. We had to ask multiple times for bread. Which finally came when we were halfway through our eating Finally we asked for coffee and for the check. After drinking the coffee and paying, and we were almost ready to leave. 2 more plates came (obviously forgotten) it was fish and something else. I didn't know whether to laugh or yell at them. But we just wrapped it and took it to go. In short, Food taste was good. But service horrible and they try to take advantage and cut corners. Just came back from this wonderful place where my cousin had her 40th birthday bash. Our party of 20 had a table all to ourselves and we had a blast. The atmosphere was good, the music while a bit too loud for me was nice. The food started coming fast and didn't stop until we left well past midnight. The service was spot on and servers did really well keeping us feel welcome and taken care of. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and did not smell it even once although I did see people lighting up in the little circle upfront. Overall, I was very pleased with the food, service, and ambiance. Ambiance is funky and inviting... we were there about 2PM on a Wednesday and only one other guest when we arrived. Food was very good, we were excited to discover this great place... then, Meals weren't served at same time... okay, no problem, iced tea was very weak, I asked for a REFILL. Instead of pouring more tea, server brought me whole new glass and I poured half into my husband's glass. When bill came $15 was charged for 3 glasses of iced tea. I tried to explain to the server that I should have been advised that refills were not offered, TERRIBLE response on her part. She argued that it was a whole new glass, so of course it costs $5... I tried to explain what refill meant and it made no difference to her. I paid the bill, left poor tip which is so unlike me as I usually leave 20-25%! So sad... loved it except for her attitude! What a great hidden gem in Burbank. You probably won't see it when you pass by it. But once you stop by and try this place you will go back and even refer it your friends. A very cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor sitting. The outdoor patio setting is beautiful. Tucked in a lot of trees and beautiful greeneries with lounge seating or dining table sitting options. The best part is that they have a smoking area dining patio with tables and chairs and you can actually order food, eat, drink and enjoy your cigars or cigarettes. I'm not a smoker but my friends are. The food is average here. Some items are really good and some are flavorless. Depends on what you are ordering. They have an open menu and a set menu. I've been here a couple of times by chance when I go to out of town to IKEA. Their outdoor area has such a phenomenal vibe. Lots of greenery, wood, pillows on your seat... and it's just relaxing and chill. They have a misting machine and live music on the weekend. I always order the Steak on Stone! I like steaming hot food and it's such a great way to keep your steak hot, but also a convenient and creative way to cook your steak how you like it. I also had the Apple Strudel, and it was such a crispy and delightful dessert. I was a bit embarrassed, because I was on a "Mama Day Break" and was eating alone. It was my first time, and I felt insecure, but the service was on point and I felt so relaxed and wasn't embarrassed for too long. I always pass this place when I go to IKEA in Burbank. I always hear live music when I pass by and decided to give it a try. The place looks okay, but the live music ambience is really nice for a date night or a chill dinner. The food is okay. Their steak is good and their Thai Eggplant Salad is very good. The pizza was fine. HOWEVER, I am DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED with the service here. There was a young lady who was our server but NEVER recommended the specials, certain dishes to try, or even check up on our table. At the end, the older gentleman who kindly approached our table decided to take over our table and served us WONDERFULLY. I have mixed views on the place. This is a magical find! Just across the street from the Springfield hotel in Burbank, this restaurant drew me in for both lunch and a repeat visit for dinner. This is al fresco dining at its best. A fountain bubbles at the entrance. Twenty-foot tall bougainvilleas arch overhead, carefully-coppiced trees provide shade from the Californian summer sun, and woven rope dividers separate tables with love seats. We had the Baja Tacos Trinity, with black code, tiger shrimp, and a fresh mango salsa. This was beautifully-presented and brimming over, with a fresh crisp house salad with sun-dried peppers, a subtle blue cheese, and a perfect light amount of tangy vinaigrette. We also had the Cajun Shrimp Jambalaya, which came with tiger shrimp, andouille sausage on linguine. We finished lunch with their cheesecake, served with fresh blueberries and raspberries. Service was warm and authentic, and we particularly appreciated meeting the chef, Pedro, and Alfredo, who are both rightfully-proud of this seven-year old restaurant. I returned for dinner, where I had a perfectly-prepared thin crust margherita pizza from their wood-fired oven. I was entranced by the lights in the greenery and the live music on the stage in the corner. The atmosphere was sophisticated, Latin, and simply enchanting. This might be the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Oh my. Where do I even begin. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, after being seated we waited 15 minutes before anyone even approached us. When someone comes, he said did you guys get helped yet we said no. He said "ok what do you want to order" in the most unamused way possible. No hi welcome, nothing. Just what do you want. Really? We wait 15 minutes for someone to ask what we want? Maybe some water?!?!? As we are sitting here waiting and nobody even asks what drink we want? What the heck? My friend tried to order prosecco which it is listed on their menu. The server say they don't have that... She points it out and he condescendingly says no we don't have it. Our fried calamari came in a good time and I would say it's the only decent thing we had in our experience. Nothing to write home about, just decent. This server never came back. A new server came and took our order, and after that he never came back to check on us either. Needless to say, the service was legitimately NONEXISTENT. Nobody ever came around to ask how the food is, if they can bring us another drink, more water, nothing. It got to the point where we got up and went the hostess twice to ask for stuff because both our servers were MISSING IN ACTION. It's okay though, because they were so incredibly rude and you could tell they didn't want to serve you. You work for a tip, or you don't get one. Simple. Before we ordered a dessert, we ask for a manager. Manager comes, he is an absolute piece of work. Barely speaks English first off, second off, we complain and he does nothing other than say he'll talk to the chef. We explain that our steaks were both over-cooked, and he questioned us. Excuse me? What kind of customer service questions and dismissed a customer's complaint? He should have at least comped us for a coffee or something. He did nothing for us but be rude just like his jackaroony employees. I would have never expected that from a manager. He completely did not care about our experience and did nothing to solve the situation. Both of our steaks were over-cooked and we asked for one to be medium and the other medium-well. Both of these were exactly the same. Plate was cold, steak overcooked. By the way, the one we ordered was the "Steak Au Poivre" which I highly recommend AGAINST. Absolutely INCOMPOTENT person and EXTREMELY rude. He needs a lesson on customer service along with the rest of his low-life staff. At the end, we are again waiting and waiting for a check that simply won't come. Why? Because our server(s) are missing the entire time we were here. So, again, I get up and go to the hostess and tell her Our server isn't coming and we want the check. She goes inside, and I can see the server was just chilling inside not doing anything. She stands next to him and runs the card. Him and her stand inside laughing(you can see through the window). As a customer, I am absolutely appalled by this behavior. You are so lazy and don't do your job that I need to get up on my own accord to get a hold of the check, and YOU have the balls to laugh at me?!?!? They were inside glanced at me, and laughed. Shame on you you low lives. The host brings me the check, because the server isn't man enough to come and bring it to me face to face. This is the most appalling experience I have ever had in my life. Worst customer service from everyone in the chain: hostess, server, manager. All of you are mean, condescending, and do not deserve ANYBODY'S service. I don't think anyone at any restaurant has been as rude and dismissive as the employees and management here. Hey manager, accept the fact that your restaurant and employees are terrible. Oh also, we look inside and two chefs were not wearing masks whatsoever. These people are cooking your food! Came here for a team lunch to celebrate a co-workers baby shower. They were able to give us a private outside area in the back. It was a bit dark and they only were able to put the lights on for a short period. When we asked why they turned off the lights, they told us because they were doing work on the roof. Seems like a weird time to do the work when we had reservations for the space weeks in advance. The food was quite good. They are $19 lunch specials that were very tasty. I had a steak sandwich that had some good flavor and was very filling. The folks who had the soup as a started said that it was very good, but it came in a very small cup. I had the salad, and it was quite good. Not drenched in dressing and was great. This was the perfect location to have a small baby shower. It was not crowded, service was fine, but not overly attentive. It did take a while to get the bill and pay. Overall, it was a good lunch and glad that we went to try it out. Wow, a hidden gem in Burbank! This place is beautiful with garden style open space scenery and private parking right next to the restaurant. The restaurant has several seating areas and well spaced out. The food was delicious! The 3 bbq skewers came with 3 different sauces and they were all flavorful. The shrimp jambalaya has the right amount of spice and the pasta is plentiful. The salmon is cooked to perfection as well as the asparagus. Calamari is crispy and not salty which is perfect. Creme brûlée so yummy and not too sweet. Everything was freshly grilled and cooked. All the food brought out to our table were steaming hot which is how we like them. Our server Beverly was great and courteous. She apologized several times for the wait with the food, dessert and getting the bill. They said that they had a party of 100 and that our food would take long if we try to order an entrée. When we tried to tell the servers feed back or any cretic, they simply brushed it off and said we don't understand you or looked offended. They also didn't try to fix any issues. First time at this restaurant. After a long drive from the bay area, it was a nice quiet dinner with great food. The service was good, the ambiance was chill. You could tell many locals eat here. It wasn't a busy night, but from what we could see, there were a few regulars near us. Let's get down to the food... I had the salmon and my husband had the ribeye, and both were made perfectly. Seasoning was just right. The vegetables were made just right, also. We had the Apricot compote drink. It was so good that I've been searching for it everywhere online. I can't find it anywhere! If anybody knows where I can get it, let me know. I even bought a bottle to bring to the hotel. Pricey, but good. It is an open air type of restaurant, meaning, there were no walls but a nice covering and lots of greenery and accent lights (very pretty and relaxing. Lots of wood, which I love) so you couldn't see the street or parking lot. It was a little cold, and our heater, which is nice that they had one at almost all the outer perimeter tables, went out a couple of times, but they ended up switching it out. I came here with a few friends for a nice night out. We ended up just ordering the tiramisu for dessert and talking. Our tiramisu was all right. It wasn't the best. For one every single one of us that took a bite of the tiramisu ended up coughing because they sprinkled a ridiculous amount of powder on the dessert and the slightest inhalation made you cough. We just ended up taking smaller bites and held our breaths which was not very enjoyable. This place is very romantic and the decor is fabulous. This is definitely a place to take a date. Pros: *Has a patio which is now open for dining in during the pandemic *Patio is stunning and offers both sunny and shady spots, and additionally provides privacy for all guests because of the vines growing on the fence surrounding the property *Lunch menu has pizza, pasta, and sandwich options that all sound yummy and includes one of three sides for a decent price *Salad was fresh, dressing was delicious, steak on the steak pizza was cooked well and had no tough pieces, pizza dough not too crunchy or soft and had right amount of salt Cons: *Server wasn't clear about costs We asked for a drink menu and the server brought out bottled still water and said, "All we have is (murmured something)." I thought he said the name of the bottled water and was asking if it was okay that they could only offer bottled water so I said sure. He then brings out two carbonated drinks that taste like cranberry, and when I asked what it was he repeated whatever word he mumbled before, so then I understood he wasn't asking if it was okay for us to have the bottled waters but was it okay for both of us to have the only drink they are offering right now. That was not clear and was an additional $20 charge. While I should have asked him to repeat/explain what he was asking me, he should have clarified how many drinks we wanted, and also probably should have told us/asked if we were okay with bottled water, because that was an additional ~$6 charge. We chose this place because they had a reasonably priced lunch menu...we didn't expect to leave paying $33 each. *Although the steak and crust of the pizza were good, the cheese became overwhelming by the time I finished half. It's very pungent. Because we were staying in a hotel, I didn't want to keep leftovers or waste food, so I had to force myself to eat two of the slices. This is probably just personal preference (not sure if this is a good flavor combination for anyone), but my recommendation is that you don't order the steak pizza unless you really like blue cheese, or unless you aren't planning to eat the whole thing yourself. Overall, I would still return to try other options, but the rest of their menu is pretty pricey and out of the range I'm willing to pay for this kind of food. If I lived nearby, I could see myself coming here often for lunch and trying all of their lunch items. Probably wouldn't spend $30 on three skewers any time soon. read more

The food is incredibly fresh and the first time we went we had a male latin waiter and it was perfection! Totally perfect!! The hostess was a delight and came around a couple times to check on us... it was great! We liked it SO much we brought two with us a few nights later. Unfortunately our waiter was off so we had a female ( possibly Armenian) waitress and she really was not very kind or helpful to questions or requests. When ordering appetizers we asked for vegetables with our dip saying we'd pay extra. This caused her much concern. Eventually the dip was brought and 15 minutes later a plate of sliced vegetables. Our dinner was ready by then. She put us off when we asked again for the vegetables olease. We'd return if we'd get the same first waiter but not to be served by this gal again. She really semi- ruined the experience and didn't really care we were customers.
