Portion sizes and prices are okay for dinner, but I would like to see a lower-priced lunch menu with smaller portions. It was our first time here. We went on a Sunday early evening for dinner and got a great seat. The waiter was great and the food was even better! We ordered the branzino and it was super fresh and excellent. We also ordered the appetizer with the pepper and olive tapenade with pita chips and that was bugger than the two of us could share. We had our dog with us and it was dog friendly. We walked so not sure about the parking situation but there is lots of free street parking in the area. I should've listened to the reviews. Walking in the restaurant looks like a beautiful "Instagram" type of location. But it stops there. Their signature kabobs weren't available at 12 noon because the grill needed 30-40 minutes to heat up. If you open your restaurant at 11 am, shouldn't the fire be started at 10 am? What a great place to bring your favorite people. We had the hummus and Olive appetizer. The 44oz Filet on a hot rock with flavorful sauces and the most delicious Brussels spouts. Live music complimented an enchanting ambiance and a tall statuesque dancer shimmied past our table in classic Armenian dress. We were too stuffed to try dessert, but there were plenty of delectables available with specialty coffees. I can't wait to try lunch. They are open from 11-11p but closed on Mondays. This truly pains me to write, because I thought I had discovered the hidden gem of Burbank. But alas The Stage presented the WORST customer service and just general restaurant experience I have ever encountered. And Look I wanted to like you, I really really did, I mean truly, I find such joy in discovering new places to come to with my fiance on our rare weekends off together. Unfortunately, our lovely Saturday day date was a waste of 45 minutes of waiting for food that never arrived, and a server who seemed to have magically disappeared into the abyss and had zero cares about the situation or interest in actually being a server. Perhaps he just didn't want to serve us, but if the previous reviews are any example, we don't seem to be the only ones. We walk in, ask for a table for 2, and are promptly seated. It is a Saturday at 2pm, there are some customers, but they aren't slammed. As we walk through the gorgeous patio, we were seated in the back corner, a very intimate and cute vine wrapped nook decorated with their own vineyard wine bottles. They get 1 star for how picturesque their outdoor dining is. But it ends there. Our server comes back, and we order some wines to try (they have a giant list, and we were intrigued and wanted to try their house Armenia wine.) We order our wine no problem. He returns with our wine promptly, and so we order our food right away, and ask for some water. Here is where it all goes down the toilet. We are enjoying our wine, catching up, and 20 or so minutes pass, no water. No server. 10 minutes later, my fiances Fish Tacos come out, they look delicious. The food runner puts the food in the middle of us, assuming I guess that we were sharing these fish tacos. I had ordered a simple pasta dish, and we both got side salads from their lunch menu. My fiance politely waits for my food before he eats. Well my food never came and neither did the salads, we waited another 15 minutes (which in my opinion was far too generous) but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt I guess. No server. My food never came, my water never came, the server never came to check on us. All in we had been there for 45 minutes. My fiance suggested we just leave, we hadn't touched his food, only had 1/4 of our wine, but I wanted to have a face to face because that's just me. So I go up front to look for our server, no big surprise, he is nowhere to be found. Ironically, as I walk back to my table, he comes out quickly. Probably because he was inside neglecting his tables or doing more important things, like ignoring his tables. Here is where it gets really good. I explain to him, we were leaving, how we have only received my fiances food, which was now cold, we never received my food, our garden salads, or water (which btw, server 101, water is the first step in a dining experience) He says to me "YOU haven't received your food?" UH NO sir, I haven't, and if you were a good server you would have been standing in the kitchen watching your tickets and ensuring your food was going out at the same time, and checking on your tables to make sure everything was okay.Or letting your table know that the kitchen is a little behind. You know basic customer service. I tell him "NO, etc etc, we are leaving, this is absolutely unacceptable." HE proceeds to ask me "Are you going to pay for your wine at least?" SERIOUSLY? I threw my hands up and we left and went to one of our favorite spots in Burbank, that never disappoints. I would never recommend this place, if this is the standard of service they are offering. How horrendous. And what a terrible way to treat your customers. And at the prices they are charging, I would really hope I would get a better experience than I would at a fast casual place. I was surprised to learn this place has been here for 8 years, but it's not surprise to me that I haven't heard of them, because besides the decor, this place leaves very very little to be desired. There is seating on the side to make your dining experience more private, but the wicker bench we sat in was a little too low. We ordered an appetizer -- which never arrived because the waiter failed to tell us it was not available. Therefore, we didn't find out we were only had 1 dish for 2 until all the food was served by another server. We had to ask him, is the other dish coming? What dish? Oh, we don't have that. If staff had told us sooner, we could have ordered something else and perhaps it could have arrived the same time as the other dishes. The waiter returned much later to repeat they are out of that dish and he would remove it from the check. Did he? No. He was nowhere to be found and our party wanted to leave, so the hostess took it off. No apologies No nothing. No, staff acted like they did us a favor. Hmm, it's generally not cool to charge diners for food never served. The prices are pretty high especially for average tasting food so our party probably won't be returning. The ambience is nice so we expected better service. We ended up just eating a margarita pizza which was small and half burnt. Our friends got a salad and cheese plate. Also nothing special. They were a bit short staffed but our server really did her best with our large party. I didnt give it five stars only because the prices were just so expensive. Foliage and greens everywhere, a little hipster piano with flowers growing out of it to greet you in the front, couches to sit on outside...just an all together beautiful place! I had the prosciutto sandwich with a salad, and then the "stage" fries (truffle garlic). All in all, a very good sandwich. The Brie was nice and creamy, and the asparagus was quite tender. Next time I order it, I think I'll do without the sweet fig jelly. Just a little too sweet for me! The salad was basic, but very fresh. The fries were good, but not good enough to bring home when we didn't finish. I'd say this is a good place for a special occasion with your family or an interesting restaurant to take a business partner. Recently went here for Mother's Day lunch and was sadly dissatisfied. The restaurant itself is really cute with the outdoor area, all the greens, the garden. It's very cozy. But the food was lack luster. It was a set menu that day. The salads were fresh. But the bbq meat lacked in taste. A prosciutto and cheese platter was included, the prosciutto was not fresh at all. And there simply just wasn't enough food. I don't know if this was an isolated incident because it was Mother's Day but that shouldn't matter. Restaurants should be consistent in their quality. My husband and I left hungry after paying an expensive bill. Lastly, I had walked up to their hostess to ask her to take a photo of us, we were a large group of 20 seated in their private area. Beautiful little restaurant with great outdoor patio space. The ambiance and music was lovely. However we waited over 2 hours for our food and when it arrived they got our order wrong. For reference we ordered a flatbread and salad. That is all. Our waitress only came by the table once after an hour and asked if we are good. No. We are not good, we don't have any food. Then another hour passes and we had to go find our waitress to ask her where it was. We were about to leave since we hadn't received any food or drink and then one order arrived so we felt we should stay. It took another 20 minutes for the other order to arrive. I've been dying to go this place for a few years bc the sounds and smells are soooo enticing from the outside! Finally had a nice date to share it with and was NOT disappointed by the atmosphere for the food at all! It's sooo magical inside you forget you're in Burbank! The live music was great too, the perfect volume, and the servers were friendly! We got there around 7:15 and waited a little while for a table bc we asked for one that was in a romantic little garden nook section (an absolute MUST for a date!!!) There were two chairs and one bench which was perfect to cozy up in! (ps, sorry to the very lively party of very fun older ladies who were having a birthday party for our flirty shenanigans) The only only downside to being tucked away in a romantic corner is that you sometimes don't see any staff for a long time, so we did stay just a little longer than we had hoped, but the atmosphere was so nice it wasn't a problem. Ordered a Bellini, a red wine, the mushroom ravioli and chicken penne which were delicious! Plenty of food for left overs. The other thing that's not fantastic but I understand is more of a European thing is that you can smoke in the restaurant. It's outdoors and basically a giant patio so it's legal, if not a little uncomfortable while we were waiting. I kind of wish they would ask guests not to smoke in the waiting area by the fountain. There are chairs on one side of the table and a long bench on the other. We decided to seat the older generation on chairs (and thank God). I was a pioneer in bench side seating. I collected all the dirt, playing the role of a rag, on my new thin and very expensive pants and on my hands. Then it turned out that half of the guests did not have wine glasses (only shots). Water, napkins and glasses were carried for at least 15 minutes. The feast began. Something was cut in half, and some of the dishes included in the menu were not served at all. Then we waited another 10 minutes for a knife to cut it, until my 83-year-old father went to the restaurant kitchen for a knife. Then the little cakes were brought out in a cardboard box with a question: well, if you want, we will transfer them on plates. The tea, which was brought out in spilled cups, was, in my opinion, diluted since yesterday. The end of the evening was crumpled and we all wanted to leave as soon as possible.
