Was worried about the dough being soft but it was cooked very well!! Nice and crispy but not burnt. Also had the Texas jalapeño burger which was cooked to a perfect medium. Beyond the cook it was just meh. Kinda bland. Very little seasoning. Not bad though. Still ate it all! The fries are great! Had the Buffalo Mac and cheese as well. Not macaroni. It was good. Good food, cool environment, but my girlfriend and I were visiting from Wisconsin and we stopped in to grab a bite to eat and a drink. The server was very kind but declined to even bring my girlfriends vertical Wisconsin ID to her manager for review (we are both 26 years old) I understand Boulder CO is a college town and surrounded by tons of college students but I think looking a bit closer or asking to see a Debit/Credit card to confirm the ID is legit would be a better option, because you may be refusing service to people with real ID's. read more

Our realtor is using the LoLo gifts and they are getting my husband and I out to both familiar places and new places. We used our LoLo gift which was free Sink Sliders and then also shared a Grilled Salmon Sammy and we had a delicious, hot and fresh tasting meal. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the greens and sauce balanced the fish perfectly. The sliders were juicy and perfect on a cold night. The staff greeted us and got us seated before the time they said we would be seated. The red wine choices were nicer than many "burger places" and my husband enjoyed a new beer that he tried. We popped in before a show at the Fox Theater to get a drink and something to eat. We managed to snag a couple of seats at the bar. Staff seemed friendly but very busy. Our pizza was good (we got a supreme, aka "the POTUS"). Colorado style is new to me, so not sure if it always comes with a dry crust, but it would have been great to have either something to dip it in or simply brushed with some butter before serving. Atmosphere/cleanliness: Ambience was really cool and unique. The drawings in the wall were nothing like I've seen before. It could be slightly claustrophobic as the ceilings are very low. The table was pretty sticky, which can be expected from a college bar, but there were also a lot of flies around. Definitely not the cleanest joint I've been in. Food: I got the Buddha Pizza and I thought it was just fine. The crust was really good, which I normally never eat crust, so that's a plus for them! My boyfriend said the burger was pretty good, not better than average. Service: Good service, a little slow but no big deal. Such a fun vibe! Boulder institution! We came early on a Saturday game day and we're able to be seated in about ten minutes, so not bad at all. By the time we left around 2pm though the bar was packed and the wait was long. Service was really good. The menu is huge and everything sounded great. The pizza was cooked well and tasted delicious, however, there was a poor topping to crust ratio especially considering the crust did not have much flavor and was overdone. Our first server was dismissive although the server who took over her tables was attentive and respectful. I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday around noon. Great greeting at the door. Swift and comfortable seating. I ordered the French onion soup, Caesar salad and fries. Within five minutes the food arrived. Everything was lukewarm (including the salad). The croutons in the soup were soggy as if they'd been sitting prior to me even ordering. The fries still had a crisp to them but were lukewarm. The Caesar dressing was heavy on the anchovy. The romaine lettuce brown around the edges. We tried the Buffalo wings which had great flavor and were very crispy. The server recommended the bacon jammin burger and cowboy Rueben. The burger was super delicious, I really loved it. The cowboy Rueben had sliced brisket which was extremely fatty so despite its good flavor i had to send it back. Went there on a Wednesday. It wasn't too busy. There was a 15 minute wait. So we waited at the bar where 3 other groups of two sat. After waiting 10 minutes without service from the bartender we figured we'd just order drinks when we were sat, so we waited outside. Another 10 minutes goes by and we never received a text to be sat. They said they took us off the list. No explanation why but they get us sat pretty quickly after we approached them. Once we're sat we are not approached by a waitress/waiter until 15 minutes later when we are forced to get one of their attention. I would have left at this point instead of raising my hand but we were pretty hungry. Instead of ordering alcoholic drinks we just ordered cokes, we didn't know how long it would take so we went with the safe option. We ordered an ugly meat lovers pizza and the Texas Onion Straw Burger. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza you make at home and the crust was burnt. The burger was good, definitely not worth a 45+ minute wait but it tasted like a little heart or soul was put into it. It has cartoon art throughout the restaurant and you can write your name on the ceiling (like a lot of restaurants I've seen in Colorado). If you want burgers I'd go some place else, 5 guys is the cheaper, believe it or not, and it's a similar quality with quicker service. If you want pizza better than here, just go to dominos. If I ate here by myself... I probably would have given this restaurant a 2/5 stars because my salad (the Greekout) was insanely boring and dry, even though I added salmon and chicken to it. I even added avocado and asked for a side of guacamole to try and enhance the salad further and it just fell below par. The proteins were tasty, the chicken was moist and juicy, but everything else just fell flat. Oh and the guac was WAYYYY TOO CITRUSY for my liking. And sadly, I left The Sink HUNGRY. That being said, my husband... The biggest burger snob on the face of the planet... ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIS BURGER. I believe he said EXCEPTIONAL when I asked him his thoughts.
