I arrived for a late breakfast and met my son there. The service was excellent, Maddy our server was on top of things. The Avocado Toast was excellent. Ambiance was pretty much perfect. The PP Cafe is part of the Blend on Main Chef Lou always does a decent job. Parking could be tough in the summer months. read more

One of our new favorite breakfast/lunch spots! The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. All the ladies that work there are so friendly and efficient that it keeps us coming back. Food was just ok. Far from bad but definitely not great. My Italian chopped salad had a very small amount of meat to say the least. My wife's chicken salad as just ok. French Onion looked delicious, as did the pork roll egg and cheese. Also, our waiter was a little surly. They brought out one wrong salad as well. Enjoyed a really nice breakfast yesterday at The Peach Pit Cafe. I've been to Blend many times before but never tried Peach Pit for Breakfast. I'm glad we did. The weather was gorgeous out so why not enjoy eating outside under an umbrella at their sidewalk cafe? I ordered the Peaches and Cream French Toast which is made with warm peaches, brown sugar and whipped cream. It was delicious and tastes even better than it looks. My friend had the Eggs in a Hole with poached eggs, corned beef hash and avocado. They even served it gluten-free on sprout bread for her. She loved it. The Cafe is dog-friendly and it was nice to see the puppies enjoying the outdoors. I'd definitely come back again. read more

I wouldn't say this place stands out compared to a regular breakfast diner but to be fair we ordered really basic plates. My reasoning for the 3 stars is that they charged me $6.19 for my coffee because it was iced- and it was literally regular coffee with ice added in-no speciality syrups or plant based creamers. Went in for lunch today and had a horrible experience. First off the place is dirty. The floor needed to be swept badly and the kid cleaning tables barely wiped them clean. The waitress had to clean them again as people sat. Our food took forever to come out, we'll actually we never got it. Three tables came in well after us and were all served their food before us. I think the runner gave out food to the wrong table but the waitress made up story about not putting our food in until after our appetizer was finished. We continued to wait another 15 minutes before finally telling them to cancel the order. They tried giving us a hard time about cancelling but I wasn't backing down. We needed to get back to work. The brunch is quietly one of the best around, and perhaps I'm giving away too much by even talking about it here given how busy the best brunch spots can be at the shore. A beautiful Saturday afternoon for lunch outdoors. The hostesses were awesome, the service was very good, the lunch was good, not awesome. I've had dinner here and it's much more impressive than lunch. The cheese steak was generous with the amount of steak but the bread was average. We're in NJ! We know good bread and good cheesesteak. My friend had the toastados which she stated were fabulous. Another friend had an omelette which also looked delicious. We ended the meal sharing the nutella beignets which were good, but I remember a different version at dinner which were better. I came in for breakfast on a weekday around 10:30. Although dining alone, I was seated at the largest table available which I appreciated. I was able to plug my computer in to charge through a nearby outlet and connect to their WiFi for free so that I could work while eating. Service was very attentive but not overbearing. I was given the proper amount of time to pore over the menu and ordered a coffee along with the veggie omelette. Being the spice freak that I am, I added hot peppers to the standard combo of mushrooms, asparagus and scallions. Coffee was better than your average diner/breakfast cafe. Unfortunately they did not have skim milk so I drank my coffee black. My breakfast plate was presented well and the omelette eggs were cooked nicely, but the veggies (esp asparagus and hot peppers) should have been cooked through for more softness. Although tasty, they were a bit hard and crunchy in my opinion. The accompanying English muffin was decent but tasted kind of flat. If I could rate food and service separately I'd give the service 4 stars and the food 3. I would eat here again but wouldn't rush to come back. read more

At first they tried to put us in an empty freezing fancy dining room alone. We asked o sit in the main room for lunch which only has about 10 tables squeezed in a very small space. The Cuban was completely bland, the chips in a fryer basket is a cute idea but also bland. The onion soup was just fine nuttin to write home about.the onion rings were soggy and greasy. The only winner was the Muligautauny soup(I know it's spelt wrong) feel free to school me in spelling. This place was just uncomfortable and kinda snobby for mostly fried foods. I'm super confused because the photos for this place look delicious. Maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff. read more

I ordered the egg bowl with no potatoes or English muffin and a side of sausage. The food looked and tasted extremely fresh. I especially appreciate the freshness of the vegetables... too often restaurants over cook vegetables for omelets or use canned/frozen and using fresh like the Peach Pit Café does truly make a difference. Just had breakfast first time here and we will be back. Great coffee ( and I'm a coffee snob ) and a delicious pork roll and cheddar on a fresh tasty brioche. I had mine with no egg, husband had his with 2 eggs. Yummmmmm. Oh, and the potatoes ( I don't even like potatoes ) were excellent. Really tasty and full of fresh black pepper. Overall excellent ! Yesterday, my sister and I came home to finally learn how to make my mom's sauce and meatballs (they are the best ever - 5 stars =P ). My family and I came to Peach Pit Cafe before cooking. I'd already eaten a bagel for breakfast so I wasn't all that hungry, but everyone else was. We got to the restaurant around 2 pm (they stop brunch at 3 pm). My mom and sister got the Lobster Benedict and it looked absolutely delish. It came with a lobster tail and everything. The breakfast potatoes were event tasty. I believe the dish was $18, which I think is pretty reasonable. I can't remember what my dad got, but i had the Flatbread with fig spread, goat cheese, and arugula. It was exactly what I needed, however, I wished there was more fig on it. We had a really enjoyable brunch (BYOB) with the light shining through the windows from Main Street in Manasquan. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. The experience made for a great Sunday! read more

The sign and the room that the cafe is located in are in complete contrast to each other . Next door at Blend restaurant which seems to be apart, the rug has a bad odor, and this rug extends in to the peach pit. The menu is average. Nothing jumped out at me or seemed really appetizing. I don't remember if I ever saw Peach pie on the menu. The burger I had was very good and was cooked perfectly to order. This place is not kid friendly which has nothing to do with my review, but being situated in Manasquan on Main Street, you would think it would. The overall vibe was strange. The waitress was very attentive. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend. Furthermore I would like to add that the hostess seated myself and my two children with 3 adult menus. When I asked her for a children's menu she looked dumbfounded. She said to ask my waitress. When I asked the waitress she replied I will just tell it to you. The two is because the sevice is bad. It's Fathers Day and they are not that busy. They dropped the food and ran away (literally) without saying a word. We went inside to ask for syrup because they didn't bring any and I was almost finished with my breakfast. The Hostess said "I'll let your waitress know when I see her". Seriously, you take the 60 seconds and get syrup. It never came so I got up this time and went and got it. Short rib hash was a 3.5 though, pretty tasty but a little dry. read more

My husband and I visited The Peach Pit Cafe this Saturday and I absolutely loved everything about it! My husband ordered the Lobster Benedict, and I had the Eggs in a Hole. The lobster was amazing! It was a tender, buttery, and perfect, but the star of the show was the corned beef and hash that came with the eggs in a hole! It was eggcelent......lol! The restaurant is also BYOB. We ordered two large orange juices, they were fresh squeezed and delightful, and we added our own special ingredients! We loved everything about The Peach Pit Cafe so much that we had to return the next day! I ordered the Lobster Benedict with a side of corned beef and hash because I just couldn't resist.
