So I happened to be in the area for my pet and the good folks at Allenwood Animal Hospital suggested that I grab a bite at The Committed Pig.. So off the crew and I went.. I had the Cheeseburger with waffle fries and it was definitely delicious! Great flavor, texture.. I can't lie, it did not disappoint. My crew also agreed the burger was hittin! My friend had the Turkey Burger with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and they enjoyed their meal as well.. Said it was good! My other friend had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup and they scarfed it down. I had a piece too and it was definitely delicious! I'll have one next time! The restaurant is light, with simple wood tables & chairs. The bar has some color. The service was outstanding! It was a late lunch the day before Valentine's Day so it wasn't busy, so the bartender was our waiter. He couldn't have been any more helpful, attentive or friendly. The food was great! The veggie burger was really good, and the side salad was delicious (with a tasty balsamic dressing). I finally checked the Committed Pig, and wow! It was way better than I expected. Seriously, the place was super cool and stylish inside, really comfy and casual feeling. has a rooftop deck, not sure the rooftop hours. Their happy hour draft beers are great prices that won't break the bank especially for being down the shore. The cocktails were the real stars of the show. They weren't just your average drinks; these were seriously creative and delicious - perfectly balanced and you could tell they used really good stuff. Visited this past weekend with family for an early lunch. Ambiance is awesome and our service was very good. My sister in law got one of the cocktail specials and she said it was absolutely spectacular. Burgers are way above average as to be expected. Fries were cold which was a bummer. Good sized portions. We walked in, and were sat immediately! Server was Amanda. She was friendly and attentive. Cookie dough pancakes 3/10 The pancakes were not bad, but they definitely needed syrup if you got a piece with no cookie dough... If you did get a piece with cookie dough, it was a very strange consistency, kinda weird. It was like a half baked cookie. My 8 year old sister did not like them. I tried hers and wasn't a huge fan either. Chipotle Bacon Burger - cooked medium 8/10 (Amanda recommended this as her favorite burger) Burger was really good. It was cooked close to medium, a tad over, but the flavor of the burger was still good and it was juicy. The cheese was really good, bacon was crispy, chipotle had good flavor, not spicy and a nice soft bun. I didn't really taste or notice the onion ring. Could use a little more chipotle too (and more on the side to dip fries!) Regular fries Tastes almost exactly like McDonald's, but a little better. read more

I've been dying to check out the new committed pig location! My family loved the old squan location for years and has been craving a baked Brie burger with fried pickles!! The new location has a bar and a liquor license so it is not BYOB like the old spot. Pretty interior & bar set up with fun / funky cocktails. As for food, we got the baked Brie burgers, a cheese burger & fried pickles. The sweet potato waffle fries are great (but need more seasoning !!) ask for honey mustard on the side, you won't be sorry! For drinks, we got rum & cokes, boardwalk lemonade, watermelon gimlet + slow poke fiz. The non alcoholic Arnold palmers were refreshing as well! The boardwalk lemonade comes in a to go cup & is gone in a few sips, but was yummy. The watermelon gimlet was interesting & came with an ant tooth pick lol. I probably wouldn't order the slow poke fiz again, but that's just me! FYI - Summer Thursday's in squan are a little crazy, so we had to wait 45 min - 1 hr for a table for 3, but were able to wait by the bar. They don't take reservations!! There was music outside & the street was shut down for pedestrians only. All in all, Committed Pig is still a top Monmouth County spot!! Excited about their new location. read more

For five star review, this restaurant serves six stars and more! Beginning with our waitress, Ariel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was superb! We sampled the three of the toasts- the tomato, avocado,and ricotta topped with strawberries. One was better than the next!The salads were fresh,crispy, flavorable, and delicious. Then to top this all with the Brie melted (with figs) burger along with the sweet potato waffle fries which were all prepared to perfection.Our children enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes withe the generous addition of fresh fruit! Every time I'm in Manasquan visiting my friend, I visit this place.. at least once. The baked Brie is my favorite burger but I've never been disappointed with an order. At first I thought $19 was steep for a burger, but the burger is huge. I've been able to finish it in one setting before while other times? It's just too much and have leftovers. The environment is a fun, laid back beach vibe with a modern upscale twist. Servers are all wonderful! Pro tip... order a side of the chipotle mayo to dip your sweet potatoes fries in. This has been on my nj list of places to eat for quite awhile now. We ordered the pig mac with waffle fries, illy dilly with waffle fries, and kids pancakes with sausages. I added lettuce, onion, and tomato on my illy dilly; they were very generous with the toppings. I didnt add the pickles because illy dilly came with fried pickles but with toppings the fried pickles were not crispy. I give the illy dilly a 9/10, nice and juicy a very well made burger. My bf gave the pig mac a 9/10 as well. Both burger sandwich were sliding off/ falling apart once you take a bite. First time at this place (and it won't be the last - lol). The Food and Service were beyond expectations. Appetizers: The Barbeque Wings (With secrete sauce) are the best in NJ (in my humble opinion) and I eat a lot of wings; and the Pig Fries and Spinach dip were off the hook as well. Main course: Burgers - and they were Excellent Service: All the servers were polite & attentive and the owner event stopped by the table to help out because it was a busy night. So disappointed with the restaurant. We had heard raves for the pig but can't add our voices to any of it. The hostess was grumpy, the table was uncomfortable, the food was cool instead of hot, the fries were chewy and tasteless. We went hungry and left hungry. The servers were nice. The burger fell apart while eating it. It is a heavy burger so come hungry. The Bbq sauce wings were good. I enjoyed the crunch on the wings. Fries were delicious. Terrific roofdeck bar to complement its center-of-gravity "hot" location on Main Street Manasquan. Gathered long-time-no-see Jersey Shore friends and we all had a blast with drinks, food and service from bartender Molly. All prices were moderate and we took advantage of that. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent variety. The staff is fantastic. They are welcoming and friendly, and the specialty drinks are innovative and tasty. The only negative is the current lack of a full menu on the roof deck. I wanted a burger, and my wife wanted one of the grilled cheese sandwiches, but the roof has a special limited menu.
