    Breakfast Tostadas
    Leena S.

Kitchen reminds me of your typical NJ Diner with food, ambiance and service on par. The only exception would be that it's priced slightly higher than a Diner. They are definitely short handed, but the staff is very pleasant. My husband ordered the Emerald Isle Breakfast bowl, while I went with the Breakfast Tostadas. My entree was very average and the didn't live up to the description. The tostadas are served on soft tortillas, not crispy corn tortillas. I'm actually surprised at all the 4 and 5 star reviews for this establishment, its fairly middle of the road.

Solid Breakfast at Kitchen 35 . We had the spicy flamenco omelette without cheese and salsa and sour cream on the side ,and the kitchen supreme which was two eggs any style with bacon or sausage , potatos and choice of waffles , pancakes, or French toast . Bacon was crispy and delicious. Definitely returning .

Great service, delicious breakfast, nice portions, very clean......highly recommend! Big inside and a warm welcoming ambiance went on a Saturday morning.

The Kitchen @35 has opened in the last few weeks (Oct 19). It has been the home of quite a few different diners the past two decades. This always come to mind: how long will they last? Physically the layout is about the same as it has been; I guess there's not much you can do it to change it. It still reminds me of the diner. The food is about 10% above what I've had here on several occasions in the past. The pluses are the prices and the service we had in the name of MacKenna. She was a sweetheart. A caveat to the management: Don't do tip monies and cash receipts where customers can readily see this. Its tacky..... do it in the back room.

Skip Brick Diner, skip Rainbow and just go here. Large selection and delicious food. Friendly staff too! Plus a true diner feel.

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Even the wait time here is pleasant. My wife and I had to wait 40 minutes for our table but didn't mind a bit as we soaked up some sunshine and listened to the smooth guitar sounds coming from the guitarist playing outside. My wife had a breakfast sandwich that she loved. We split a spinach salad and I had a tuna melt on sourdough with a side of crabby fries. My sandwich was grilled perfectly. Tuna with melted cheddar and light, crispy buttery sourdough made for a great sandwich. TFS is seasonal only so their last day is October 26 this year and we plan on visiting again before they close for the season.

Not often does a place do as well or better than the last place when it changes hands and the previous joint was a local favorite. At the Point IMHO is one of those such spots. The menu is flat out one of the best I've seen in years! So many amazing choices from savory to sweet, creative fun names for everything, outstanding choices, tons of options for every palate. They kept some of the staples from before which is a nice hat tip to tradition but you can also tell the new chef/owner wanted to have some fun with the menu and it's a hit in my book! The food is very fresh, coffee hot and delicious, and the service is as good as it always was! Tanya is the best! The pancakes are next level, all of their omelettes I've tried have been dynamite, favorites include the French Onion Omelette, Reef & Beef and Juan in a Million. Today we had the Sunrise in Tulum Birria tacos and Country Benny (okay along with a flight of pancakes, stop judging). Everything was great! Avocado toast options are fantastic as well. Love seeing such an iconic local breakfast joint not only stay as good as it's always been but actually improve. This is a can't miss for breakfast or lunch if you're in Point Pleasant Beach or even just passing thru. Keep up the great work At The Point Diner!
