She let us have a long chat not rushing us but always there if we needed her . The breakfast Omelets were delicious and the pancakes with real maple syrup excellent! Awful is an understatement. I had been there MANY years ago and loved it. Now? Not so much. We had a reservation for 11:30. Walked in, no hostess anywhere, so we waited. Waitress comes over can I help you. We say we have a reservation. She says ok and walks away. We are standing by a bathroom and a filled bus station. Tables all over needing busing. Waitress comes back and takes us to a booth. The wall next to the booth is covered in coffee splashes. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Long story short. Couldn't be served coffee or water bc there were no cheap glasses/mugs as per the waitress. We waited until 12:35 for our food. Forgot his name but he was nice, however I feel like I should introduce him to an iron cuz his clothes need it. Had a friend from out of town visiting and wanted to get him a taste of Jersey. Stopped at this place which is kind of in the cut. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there, or you're not really looking for a place to eat. We got greeted right away and got seated in the back where there weren't many people. This was cool because we could eat and talk in peace. Our server was polite and tended to us almost instantly. I ordered the Belgian waffle and asked if it could be topped with strawberries. The food came very quickly, I'm assuming it was because it wasn't super busy so the chef got right to our order. The waffle was very good. Sometimes there's too much whipped cream, but this was just the right amount. Except for the location, I'd say this place is a really good spot. read more

I was home in NJ for a friend's wedding. A quick turn around gave me only about half a day to see family as the other half was spent at the festivities. Since I landed so late on Saturday night, we decided breakfast on Sunday would be the best option to catch up. After throwing around a few options, we decided on Blue Peach Cafe. There are two entries corresponding to the front and back parking lots, both of which were full. The front entry also has two doors on either side, which made it mildly confusing as to which way to go. We randomly went right and were greeted and promptly seated by a hostess, though while walking through the restaurant I noticed a hostess stand at the back and presumably main entrance. I was pleasantly surprised we didn't have a wait as it was a gorgeous fall Sunday and everyone seemed to be out and about. Our server quickly approached us and got coffee and waters on the table fast. Soon thereafter we placed our meal orders: Mom and Mommom both got the Spanish omelette, I got the Californian omelette without bacon, and my brother chose the daily breakfast special - the waffle sliders. We sat and chatted for a while, but after about 35 minutes I began to wonder where our food was. It was only breakfast after all, and most of the prep work is done ahead of time. Maybe they were busier than usual? Or short staffed? In total we waited 40 minutes for our food to be delivered. At least it was still hot. My omelette was huge. There was no way I could have finished it, and my Mom and Mommom ended up each taking half of theirs home. The ends were mostly egg, but once you moved towards the middle, all the other ingredients were plentiful. Our omelettes were served with home fries and toast. The marble rye was actually really tasty. But it was my brother who ultimately won the best dish competition. He graciously let me try a bite; the combination of sweet waffles and maple syrup with the savory egg and sausage patty was clearly the way to go. I would opt for this if I found myself back here and it was on the menu. All in all this is an okay spot for breakfast on a weekend. The wait time for our food could be improved upon, but at least our server kept the coffee mugs filled. read more

This was not the best brunch experience. The service was slower than acceptable and it was not even busy. I typically have sympathy for wait and kitchen staff if they are swamped. However; this was not the case. The staff mostly stood around, fixing mistakes on bills, balancing the drawer and whatever else they did blatantly in front of everyone while talking about customers who were calling in. It was pretty unprofessional. It took quite awhile to get our check. My Over easy eggs were undercooked and I got white toast instead of the rye that I ordered. My boyfriend ordered pepper jack Cheese and it turned out they didn't have it. It was pricey at $42 for two basic brunches. I've been here before and it was better. Decided to have lunch here one day with my daughter & a coworker. It was quite slow when we went in & it took a few minutes to find someone to seat us. Kate eventually came out to seat us (they were short staffed this particular day). She could not have been nicer. I decided on a cup of chicken noodle soup with half a caprese sandwich. Although my sandwich was good it was a bit dry. My daughter absolutely LOVED her lunch but alas, I don't recall what she had. BP is only open for breakfast & lunch. This place is simply amazing and delicious. This location is one of the hidden gems in the jersey shore. The food is delicious and filling but does not leave you feeling bloated or uncomfortable. The service was outstanding and the owner makes her way around the restaurant the entire time making sure patrons are comfortable and their needs are being met. The coffee was delicious and our coffee cups were never empty due to the great service. This place has a unique decor set up and the atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel like you are eating a meal cooked at home. We will definitely frequent this location from now on! read more

Honestly, this is on my top ten of worst places to eat. My mother and I came here for brunch and oh my god.......the place itself was so dirty! There were a million flies and dirty plates/silverware on our table. Also, when we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a bussing station overflowing with dirty dishes and excess food. The dirty environment made us just about lose our appetite. Not only was this place extremely dirty but the food also tasted old. Additionally, they overcooked the eggs Benedict. The fact that this place even has 3 and a half stars is beyond me. A solid breakfast. I like to judge New Jersey breakfast spots by how good their pork roll sandwiches are, and this one passed with flying colors. I got a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich on a roll and it was honestly pretty far up there on my list. The home fries were very good as well. Very flavorful, and not soggy at all. No problems with service either. As an added bonus, they have alcohol here for your Bloody Mary's and mimosas. The decor is quite unique, it's sort of retro but nice at the same time. Very fresh items....omelettes served here are among the three best at the shore, IMO. Salads at lunch time are perfect. Brought my parents here from VA and they kept raving about their large sandwiches at lunch and how clean the place was, with great service. Blue Peach is distinct from many places at the Shore, as it is a couple of miles away from the sand and in a corporate business park on Rt 35/Lakewood Avenue. But don't let that deter you. Originally I was completely satisfied with meal; that was until I got the bill. I ordered two wraps and they each come with a salad or you can substitute for fries for an extra dollar. I get my bill and they charged $8 for a half salad and $3 for supposedly included fries (she told us the fries were only $1 extra and didn't tell us the included salad couldn't be selected) Instead I get a bill for two wraps and coffee totaling $40! My father and I went in here on 2/14/17 for my birthday lunch. A good buddy of mine, Jesse Todaro has worked here for a few years now and he's built up regulars that come in to sit in his section. Not that complaining that Jesse's day off happened to be Tuesday, our server, Al was more than gracious as well. Any who, my father and I sit down. Okay everything was really good. Waiter says the owner does it right and doesn't cut corners so you get a quality product. I had an omelette with spinach, avocado and onion with a side of fruit, and whole wheat toast washed that down with pineapple juice. Have eaten here many time; the service was terrible. The silverware was dirty.. Took a fork from another table, not much better. Returned my poached eggs because they were runny, than heard the cook complaining that what do I expect for ordering them at 130 in the afternoon.... However, they shouldn't have been on the menu if they didn't know how to cook Eggs Benedict...The waitress made a mistake on our bill.She continued to talk with other people at the restaurant that she obviously knew. I sat right by the enormous window of this cute cafe! I went for breakfast but the brunch menu really intrigued me. I got the turkey club croissant panini because I'm a sucker for anything with avocado. It was delcious! This cheery, bright bistro type atmophere and pleasant service made for a wonderful experience. As a huge dog lover the summer time perfect for spending time outdoors with my rascal, Franky. We especially love dining al fresco with family so i was bummed when they said no pets were allowed in their outside seating. Well- living between Northern NJ and Brooklyn, it has become customary to have pets while dining outside. We often go to the Blue Peach with our nephews. The food is generally good but the service is horrible. The servers have a great attitude but it takes FOREVER to get simple orders out of the kitchen. Took my daughter here for lunch. This was the "second chance" I had decided to give this place! Bad idea on my part! The first time we went for breakfast and the food was less than desirable. The second time we went was for lunch and not only was the food mediocre but the staff made the second experience even more undesirable! Took them forever to greet us. once seated the tow waitresses fought over who's turn it was to serve. Neither of them wanted the table. When they finally decided and came to take our order they were in no way pleasant. anyway we ordered, got our slop and that was the last we were attended to! The kitchen is located in the center and it's open and the staff sat there and ate and argued. I was on my lunch hour so I was hoping for the whole things to be quick but I waited 15 extra minutes after we ate what we could stomach before I got the bill! I actually had to yell across the restaurant to get her attention as she was still complaint about the tables she didn't want! When she finally came buy she giggled as if the situation was amusing! So let me say thanks to the two chubby waitresses with black hair and a bad work ethic. Now I know I would never spend another dime in that place!
