Kinda tucked away off the road, and the sign isn't that big. The decor of the restaraunt is kinda homie but outdated. Was greater right away by the friendly staff. Forgot his name but he was nice, however I feel like I should introduce him to an iron cuz his clothes need it. Anyway ordered the breakfast sandwich with pork roll as my friend mentioned people here in jersey go crazy for. Food came pretty quick, it was served with potato's it was pretty good. Standard breakfast sandwich but nothing to completely rave about it.

Had a friend from out of town visiting and wanted to get him a taste of Jersey. Stopped at this place which is kind of in the cut. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there, or you're not really looking for a place to eat. We got greeted right away and got seated in the back where there weren't many people. This was cool because we could eat and talk in peace. Our server was polite and tended to us almost instantly. I ordered the Belgian waffle and asked if it could be topped with strawberries. The food came very quickly, I'm assuming it was because it wasn't super busy so the chef got right to our order. The waffle was very good. Sometimes there's too much whipped cream, but this was just the right amount. Except for the location, I'd say this place is a really good spot.

I was home in NJ for a friend's wedding. A quick turn around gave me only about half a day to see family as the other half was spent at the festivities. Since I landed so late on Saturday night, we decided breakfast on Sunday would be the best option to catch up. After throwing around a few options, we decided on Blue Peach Cafe. There are two entries corresponding to the front and back parking lots, both of which were full. The front entry also has two doors on either side, which made it mildly confusing as to which way to go. We randomly went right and were greeted and promptly seated by a hostess, though while walking through the restaurant I noticed a hostess stand at the back and presumably main entrance. I was pleasantly surprised we didn't have a wait as it was a gorgeous fall Sunday and everyone seemed to be out and about. Our server quickly approached us and got coffee and waters on the table fast. Soon thereafter we placed our meal orders: Mom and Mommom both got the Spanish omelette, I got the Californian omelette without bacon, and my brother chose the daily breakfast special - the waffle sliders. We sat and chatted for a while, but after about 35 minutes I began to wonder where our food was. It was only breakfast after all, and most of the prep work is done ahead of time. Maybe they were busier than usual? Or short staffed? In total we waited 40 minutes for our food to be delivered. At least it was still hot. My omelette was huge. There was no way I could have finished it, and my Mom and Mommom ended up each taking half of theirs home. The ends were mostly egg, but once you moved towards the middle, all the other ingredients were plentiful. Our omelettes were served with home fries and toast. The marble rye was actually really tasty. But it was my brother who ultimately won the best dish competition. He graciously let me try a bite; the combination of sweet waffles and maple syrup with the savory egg and sausage patty was clearly the way to go. I would opt for this if I found myself back here and it was on the menu. All in all this is an okay spot for breakfast on a weekend. The wait time for our food could be improved upon, but at least our server kept the coffee mugs filled.

Banana foster French toast- soooooo good!

I LOOOOVE this place for a Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast. Everything is good but my favorites are the bananas foster french toast, the stuffed french toast and the california omelet (i think that's what it's called- it has avocado, yummy). The people who work here are very friendly and there's never a wait.

    Delicious banana walnut pancake!

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Even the wait time here is pleasant. My wife and I had to wait 40 minutes for our table but didn't mind a bit as we soaked up some sunshine and listened to the smooth guitar sounds coming from the guitarist playing outside. My wife had a breakfast sandwich that she loved. We split a spinach salad and I had a tuna melt on sourdough with a side of crabby fries. My sandwich was grilled perfectly. Tuna with melted cheddar and light, crispy buttery sourdough made for a great sandwich. TFS is seasonal only so their last day is October 26 this year and we plan on visiting again before they close for the season.

I got pork roll, grape tomatoes, broccoli, and American cheese in my omelet. Sure, this was the third day in a row I had pork roll, but I was in New Jersey, so I was required to by several state and local statutes. Service was good - the waitress was friendly and answered all of our questions easily. I almost gave her a pop-quiz just to see how much she knew, but I figured she works hard enough as it is...doesn't need some jerk from out of town making her job harder. I'll leave that to the people from NJ. The food was delicious - the omelet was as expected for the most part. However, the pork roll was not pieces of slices but rather thick chunks, which was awesome! Before I left another wait staff person approached us. He asked me if I enjoyed listening to ska music, based on the way I was dressed. We were amused. Charming little place on a corner. Has good food, decent prices, and friendly staff. Not too busy on a Friday morning in late June, either.

It took a while for the food to come out and I will say, another member of our party ordered the omelette with French fries on the side, and the amount of fries they gave could've been more generous. The omelette took up the entire plate so they only scattered a few fries on the remaining space, rather than putting it on a new plate.

The food was delicious from a very creative menu. Loved the music. The reason I rated 3-stars is because I was really looking forward to visiting for quite some time. It's a 30-minute drive and I visited on a Sunday at 1pm. They close at 3pm. The first thing I asked for was the French toast. They stated that they were out of French toast. Next I asked for Lobster Benedict. They ran out of lobster. The lobster, I can understand. It's seafood. You want it to be fresh and also I think it was a special that day. But how does a brunch restaurant run out of French Toast on the busiest brunch day of the week and you have 2 hours of service left? Not a good impression at all and I was very disappointed. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have walked out. I settled for the Liam's Favorite pancakes which was good and very filling, but I just wasn't in the mood for pancakes. Seasoned potatoes were good. Drinks were also good. Had the Dulce de Leche Cafe. Also this place is BYOB if you want to bring a bottle for mimosas. I would return here, but only if I am conveniently in the area.

My favorite was the fishies above a fishing boat, which I had to take a snap of. I ordered 3 eggs over medium, with rye, and a side of bacon. The eggs were still a bit too runny, but its a standard breakfast. I want to go back and to sit there because the staff were super nice. If I lived closer then I'd prolly be here all the time. Highly recommend stopping by here early because I have a feeling they're super busy with the locals.
