Finally had brunch there and it was great. People are nice and the food was really good.

Stopped in for breakfast with my 2 daughters on a Sunday morning. Small place, cash only, and was packed. Ordered kids pancakes, JR Fisherman, and chicken egg white spinach wrap. My wife and I had some business to take care down in Brick the other day, rarely having the opportunity to have brunch together we took advantage of the time and headed to Klotz's for brunch. The menu has the standard breakfast and lunch fare on top of their own specialties. I went with pork roll egg and cheese with hashbrown on a roll. Solid sandwich runny fried egg included, excellent sandwich. My wife went with a blt with avocado, another nice sandwich. I ordered a side of Home fries which were ok, no peppers no onions, a bit disappointing. Klotz's does a brisk business, the Friday we visited the parking lot was full. Stumbled upon this on our way home from our shore house and it was a exactly what I wanted; menu variety, cheap, quick service, and good food. It's located in a strip of stores with parking on the side of the building. It's not a huge location but you'd be surprised by looking at the exterior. I had an omelette filled with sweet potatoes black beans peppers onions mushrooms and jack cheese off the specials list. I love sweet potatoes and thought it was a delicious and a unique option. Something I thought was cute was that their coffee mugs serve as advertisements for local businesses, having picture ads in a collage style. There was a notice on each table basically saying, "if u want your business on our new mugs let us know. I respect a business that supports the other businesses in its community. read more

This is the BEST place in town to come for breakfast or lunch! My two favorite meals are either the French toast with home fries or the chicken Caesar wrap. Everything is fresh and tastes like a home-cooked meal. The portion sizes are perfect and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The only negative, which really has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, is the parking lot. On a busy day it can be tough to pull in and out. Keep in mind it's also cash only. There is limited seating, but I prefer to sit at the bar anyways. This hidden gem is definitely worth the trip! read more

Great little breakfast place in a small strip mall. Went here with my niece & was surprised to see the extent of offerings at very reasonable prices. The inside decor reminded me of an old diner with a couple of quirky art pieces on one wall & many photos on the other. I had the grilled chicken breast covered with 3 eggs, roasted red pepper with a side of bacon, not a combo I would have ever thought of trying. It was delicious! My niece had the happy fisherman, 2 chocolate chip pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon & 2 sausage patties. It was a lot of food & she enjoyed it. My only negative comment is I ordered from the egg platters where it clearly stated it came with toast. It did not. When I asked the waitress she told me the dish did not come with toast. I think this is probably one of the best breakfast places I've been to lately & I've been making it a point to try new places. But please, throw in the toast when it's on the menu as included, or fix your menu. read more

After eating breakfast here several times over recent months I'll agree with most of the Yelpsters here that Klotz's does a really good job serving up some tasty food at a decent price point. Only a slight lack of overall delivery and sophistication keep them from five stars IMO. My favorite dish so far was their French toast with a Texas type toast well soaked and very savory indeed. Their egg dishes are all very good but a stand out was a white veggie omlett Jan tried on our last visit, which she thought was delicious. Their coffee is fine but nothing to write home about. Came here 3 times this week! We are vacationers and enjoyed the fact that the patrons here were 99.9% locals. Popular with local kids, especially, who ride their bikes over here and make themselves right at home on simple comfort food. We enjoyed breakfast very much. Great coffee, sweet small town feel. Extremely casual in a rundown strip mall, door open, Today show on the TV. Cute pictures on the wall. Nothing fancy at all, just a good old-fashioned American breakfast. I avoided this place for the 7 years I've been living in town because the name "Klotz's Kitchen" to me is unappetizing in itself. Apparently the "Myth Piggy" is their "famous" dish... they even have it on their shirts. It was meh, just a greasy mess on a plate. If this is what they are known for, I'm surprised they're still open. I also had chicken soup that had no flavor, but it was loaded with chicken. It was very crowded, full of kids and was very loud. Didn't even seem like the kids were eating, just hanging out there taking up table room. It was obnoxious. I'll give it another shot some time and make a final decision, but it's worth a try. Just stay away from the "Myth Piggy" unless you want a stomach ache. Oh... and DO NOT go into their bathroom. You'll lose your appetite. read more
