I hate to give a bad review, especially to places that cater to celiac's but I have to give this place a one star. I walked in very excited. I asked him if they had gluten-free bagels. The girl says yes I said OK. I would like one toasted gluten-free bagel with cream cheese and three to go. One plane and two everything to go. She says let me see if I'm allowed to sell them to you, I thought that was strange. She said we need them for other customers. I was thinking gosh I thought I was a customer lol she comes back and says if you put something on the bagel, then we are able to sell you more, but if you want them just to take home, we can only sell you one of each kind so I said OK. I will take a gluten-free toasted everything bagel and two bagels to go one plain one gluten-free per your rules. Well, I get to my car and I'm all excited to eat it and the bagel is not even remotely toasted. In fact it is not toasted at all and this is the reason why I wanted to bring it home and put the cream cheese on myself, but clearly these people do not understand what the customer is asking for. I wouldn't have my panties in a bunch, but $5.25 per bagel seven dollars for the one that was supposed to be toasted. Seems pretty excessive for you guys to get it wrong. I'm sorry you need to do better. I'm totally disappointed. read more

J&A has one of the best pork roll, egg and cheese sandwiches I've ever had! The ratio of the meat with the egg and cheese was perfect and well balanced. They go beyond just standard breakfast foods though. I was impressed with their vodka chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich was thick, the vodka sauce was delicious and creamy. I could eat it everyday if I could. They also sell rice balls here. I highly recommend you try their pork roll, egg and cheese rice ball! I've never seen anything like it before anywhere else and it really impressed me! I love that all of their food is fresh and homemade, down to the sauces and even the roasted red peppers. The restaurant is ran by a sweet Italian-American family who will make you feel right at home. Terrible experience. We waited over an hour for our food, while people who arrived after us were being served ahead of us. The staff lost all three of our orders. By the time they figured it out, most of our food had already been given away to other customers, and we were left with scraps. No apology, no refund, and absolutely no accountability. If you haven't given J&A a try, please consider doing so. I mistakenly avoided this place because the spot that used to be in this location wasn't great. I have since ordered three times over the last month and the food is consistent, reasonable and delicious. They're on UberEats but naturally prefer you to order directly. The service was great; food was well prepared, hot and fresh as well as ready in time. I didn't go in but the owner obviously put a lot of love into the place based on the upgraded facade and decor which looks great. I'll be making this my regular breakfast sandwich or lunch spot going forward. Can't wait to try the smash burger. read more

Called in a phone order and had a bad experience. Never stood around waiting for an omelette so long in my life. I could have gone to Acme bought eggs and cooked em n did the dishes quicker than this, not even a joke. Went today to try out their bagels and breakfast and VERY happy! Bagels were fresh and doughy and big! $1.50 for any of their flavors - not bad for good quality food :). My husband ordered a pumpernickel with bacon, egg and cheese and it was DELICIOUS! There was so much bacon!!!
