Our breakfast here was very good. Portion sizes are very big. You will NOT leave here hungry. We ordered two different types of eggs Benedict as well as a pork roll and egg sandwich. All three were excellent choices. Our server was attentive and took good care of us. Consistently, however, it was service with a sneer. Not exactly the type of "glad you're here today!" greeting that customers want and deserve when they select a restaurant to start their day. The restaurant itself was quiet, with numerous kitschy signs and pictures. Fun! read more

Stayed overnight in Spring Lake and needed a local place for a Sunday morning breakfast. So tried Comfi for the first time. Walking in, it immediately reminded me of the old shore town atmosphere I remember from 50 years ago (a good thing). Warm, cozy atmosphere, mostly locals up early. Love the decor. Wait staff very welcoming and friendly, menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Coffee was only about average, breakfasts were large and everything delicious. Will definitely go back. read more

My family and I stopped at Comfi for breakfast before heading to the beach. I had the "Top o' the Mornin'" which is a potato pancake with melted American cheese, layered with scrambled eggs, bacon, and scallions, served with a side of sour cream and salsa. The portion was huge, maybe a bit too much, but the flavor was pretty good. Service was good, and the atmosphere is cute with a fun beach vibe. We walked in and had to wait just a few minutes. Prices were reasonable, making it a solid spot for a casual breakfast. I would definitely go back, though I might try something different next time. It's a great place to grab breakfast before heading to the beach. read more

While driving through Belmar, I found Comfi on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I got a custom omelet with the kielbasa hash upgrade (highly recommend), and it was great! My mom, who is notoriously picky, got the kielbasa with sauerkraut and loved it--which says a lot. Comfi is a really cute spot with friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try their hot cocoa! read more

This place was absolutely amazing for brunch. Our local friends recommended it on our way out of Jersey, and they deserve all the high fives. We arrived on the early side on a weekend day, which was perfect timing- when we left, there was quite a line. The entire menu sounded amazing and it was so hard to pick what to order. I went with the no retreat, no surrender, and my husband went with the banana mascarpone space station pancakes. We also ordered the pierogies, because it is one of his favorite foods. Everything was amazing. The lattes and other coffee drinks were amazing, and our waitress was spot on the whole time. Food came out quickly and we left incredibly happy. Absolutely worth the trip! read more

Cute brunch spot in Belmar! We got there around 11am on a Saturday and we're seated immediately. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. We ordered French toast, eggs, crispy potatoes and lamb eggs Benedict. I wasn't a huge fan of the eggs Benedict, I found that my pita got super soggy under the runny egg but everything else was good. I would come back here again and try something different. There was plenty of food as well! read more

Amazing food enough for three people very good service it's so much food. I'll bring some home and had enough for the next day.

Amazing.. I love this place. Creative menu', cozy atmosphere. Fantastic staff. If you're at the Jersey shore, you must stop in !

I used to visit the Comfi location in Old Bridge when I lived nearby. This was my first visit to the Belmar location which is approx 25 min from my home in Sea Bright. I have always been impressed with Comfi, the homemade pierogis are excellent as is the high quality Kielbasa. The portions are tremendous as is the service. The location is cute with an old fashioned breakfast counter. Street parking is available. Prices are on par with local diners while the quality is top notch. read more

First time out to breakfast/lunch with the family. Lexi was attentive and friendly. The food was hot, large portions, fresh, and delicious. We had a variety of breakfast and lunch item. The owner even added a special touch with a pierogi dish, so good! Very impressed with Comfi. We will be back! read more

We're visiting and our friend who lives here said this is a MUST GO place for their giant pancakes. The portions here are HUGE that you can definitely split a dish with someone and probably still have leftovers. We got the top o the morning, the "I'm still undecided" with kielbasa, the British banger and the "no retreat no surrender". Everything was very tasty but felt very greasy. My plate rhe "I'm still undecided" with kielbasa - felt like they gave me wayyyy too much kielbasa that I had to get a separate plate to put it on so I could get to the rest of my food. The pancake and French toast were delicious! The eggs felt greasy and not seasoned at all. The potatoes felt unnecessary and while the kielbasa was good, there was just too much of it. Friends notes on dishes below The top of the morning was yummy - it needed more salt. The bacon was salty but overall the dish needed more. Overall my friend said it was hearty and satisfying. The no surrender was good and a lot of food. The British bangers was freaking delicious. The potato pancake was super filling.. the melty cheese was really good. Over server Lexi was very nice. It was a hopping place on a Saturday morning but very cute, cozy, and nice. read more

I'm gonna need more stars for this one. From pancakes to burgers comfi delivers the promise it's name makes. This is not only one of best brunch meals I've ever had but the service was immaculate. Served personally by the manager (a lovely young lady by the name of Christina) my table wanted for nothing. Comfortable atmosphere and great music set the tone until the food hits the table and blows you away. read more

Sometimes word of mouth is the best way to find hidden gems. If you want amazing breakfast in Belmar, New Jersey... I highly suggest you check out Comfi of Belmar. What a cool restaurant, with friendly employees, and really amazing food. I knew I was going to like this place the moment I stepped in... which by the way, I was the first customer of the day. It says something about the type of place it is when it is completely packed by 8:15 AM. Today's breakfast included: the Comfi Benedict, homemade pierogies (which were truly to die for), Wild Thing, and hot chocolate. I'd like to point out that the hot chocolate was also served in the Disney princess mug, which totally made my day lol. The restaurant is clean, fun, and vibrant which is truly and extension of its staff and food. Yum. What a find! Thanks you Bill McKim from Jersey Shore Whale Watching for the recommendation. read more

Excellent food. Attentive, nice staff. Pierogi with breakfast! I'm pretty sure they serve pierogi with breakfast in heaven.

Great breakfast spot with LOTS of unique and classic options. Large portion sizes! However, as a pierogi lover these pierogis were definitely a miss for me. Despite how incredible they looks they were very bland and dry. Overall: Recommend for all your breakfast needs but I'd skip on the pierogis. read more

So happy that Comfi has returned to Belmar, and is just as good if not better than it's always been! Had brunch there today and finally satisfied my craving for their "Sexy and You Know It" that I've had for the last 2 years! Combination of a croissant with cream cheese , bacon (instead of ham) Carmel used onions, scallions, tomatoes, three perfectly poached eggs and a side of hollandaise. Our party also had a bacon omelette with onions, the "I only Want You" (7 grain french toast with lots of fruit and candied nuts, and all we're fantastic! So happy that my favorite breakfast spot is back in my happy place! read more

All around nice place to eat. We had breakfast there twice, very nice presentation. And the servers are helpful and always happy and engaging

What a fantastic breakfast. Comfi has one of the most extensive breakfast menus I've ever seen. A ton of healthy options too! I'm sure they're lunch is great too but I only got to try breakfast and I was super satisfied. I picked up breakfast for me and my boyfriend while we were staying in Belmar. Only about a mile away from the boardwalk I took a walk and was greeted by a very friendly worker. I scanned the menu for a minute then decided on the Forever Young breakfast and the perogi omelette. I wanted something healthy and the Forever Young was perfect - asparagus, peppers, turkey, egg whites and onions. All sautéed together, yummy. It was came with a huge side of delicious fresh fruit. It was incredibly worth the price because it was really enough for two days worth of breakfast. The loaded perogi omelette was really something else. Delicious fluffy eggs and hidden inside was two ginormous fantastic homemade perogies. I was expecting cut up perogies inside the omelette but I was so shocked when I saw the two massive ones inside the omelette - oh, which was wrapped in bacon as well! Really, it's the perfect breakfast. With a side of sour cream, it was really delicious. Comfi also seemed to have outdoor seating in the back. I highly suggest this spot if you're in the area - delicious, fresh, and a friendly staff. read more

Response of the owner is defensive instead of taking accountability for a poor meal. It happens, however when you order something you want it right the first time not needing to call back and wait for it to be cooked right. I order togo all the time and know condensation builds up in the box, doesnt mean the steak should be as thin as a piece of paper. Not even steak at that point. Be real with yourself, you could do better. read more

Huge portions for a good price! I had the comfi eggs benedict and I really enjoyed it. I felt like the chicken was a bit strange, perhaps dark meat? But it was still good. Loved all the mushrooms. I also got one of the hot chocolates and it was SOOO good and huge! My friend had the pirogies with a side of potato pancakes. She loved the pirogies but didn't particularly enjoy the potato pancakes. Loved the ambiance, it was busy without being too loud. Our waitress was very nice. read more

Fishing makes you hungry. I like to support local Businesses, so during one of my outings I decided to grab some grub. Loved the diner feel of the restaurant! Food was great, home style feel to it - and the coffee was even better. Bathroom was not closed off to patrons (other local businesses close down restrooms with an excuse of COVID or just not wanting to clean). This was more important to me than the food because I just had an outing fishing, had a chance to clean up before the fantastic meal. Loved the vibes and the local people. Will be back!! read more

I wanted to eat at Comfi's two locations before I wrote an review. Hopefully I will try the Old Bridge location in the New Year. Great location, close to the beach and lots of street parking available. Comfi is located next to a donut shop, which we left no room for, next time. We sat at the counter and got the kitchen window view and a chance to speak to one of the very friendly owners. Severs were busy grabbing burgers, breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. Very efficient staff and worked well together. Incredibly hard menu to order from, soo much good stuff!! We watched the pick up window of all the various flavors of pancake stacks, fancy French toasts and the special menu item, a Pierogi taco! My brunch BFF and I shared a stack of crushed Reese's PB cup, banana, chocolate and peanut butter drizzle concoction as our first course- left over alert!! And spilt a crispy chicken cutlet sandwich for the main meal. Both delicious and had enough food for lunch the next day. Oh yeah and the ice coffee, strong and flowing!! Next time we will BYOB for a bubbly brunch! read more

Great breakfast and lunch with reasonable prices and good size portions. It has a cute diner like feel with a counter and round stools. They also have booths on the right side of the restaurant. I had the 3 egg breakfast with home fries and toast. very good value at $6. My brother had the turkey club on rye. It had roasted turkey breast not deli meat. Both meals were fresh and delicious. The best breakfast in the Jersey Shore. The place isn't upscale and I like the old school vibe to it. The portions are huge and the prices are incredible. The quality of the food is awesome too and it is a home run overall. I think the Oreo with Reeses Peanut Butter pancakes were called "You're the one for me." They were delicious and a huge stack of pancakes. You will 100% have leftovers here and if you don't they will have to wheel you out of here. Top place for breakfast and I will for sure come back! read more
