The menu includes sections for drinks, appetizers, breakfast, and lunch, with items like watermelon puree, cheese taquitos, steak, and chicken dishes.

I'm not a big review leaver I believe in the whimsical game of chance of life and people expericing their own adventures, but fk that, it would be criminal if I didn't leave a review for this place-- it was off the chain! I got a pastrami sandwich in the morning with macaroni salad which i loved because I don't always want breakfast food in the morning-- so given the choice between breakfast and lunch was awesome. Though I did pilfer some of my boyfriends pancakes and potatoes, which were sooo savory!! The mix of flavors was beyond satiating! And the ambiance was fun, they are clearly big greatful dead/music fans from the logos to their shirts to their menu items which are mostly dedicated to songs as well--such as the prince of darkness, Dickey betts and so on! Even the The coffee was delicious and the service was great, we sat at the bar, and they were very attentive and patient even though they were busy busy. They have a back room and a front room so it may look small but it expands. I'm mad we tried another place for breakfast the next morning instead of going back to capsized-- trying to be adventurous and ish--but we won't make that mistake again next time. This place was def one of the best things about vacation! Yall did a great job yall!!

Absolutely wonderful breakfast! Some. Really cool menu options too! - A breakfast dish featuring two fried eggs on top of potatoes and vegetables, served on a white plate with a side of sauce in a small bowl.

Everything was delicious! Really cool Menu items. The service was wonderful too. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious! They have cute outdoor seating as well as seats inside at the bar or tables! Service was great! Would recommend!

This Reuben is delicious and it brought me back memories of when my father would take me out for a Reuben.

A great place for family affairs and business meetings. The Reuben I enjoyed had its own unique texture and taste. I'll be back for more.

This place is serving visitors outside and observing social distancing. All servers wear masks. The menu is extremely 'inexpensive' (cheap is such a cheap word) for a theme-restaurant like this. Portion sizes are large so we ended up sharing one omelette. Service is excellent and they keep coming back to you. Definitely worth a visit.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Absolutely amazing food!!!! I didnt know what to choose for breakfast so i decided to go for the moby dick( a little bit of everything). I did make some alterations, instead of regular pancakes i got the banana walnut pancakes (.50 surcharge) and instead of meat i got fruit ( Was unaware it was a $2 surcharge). Con:The fruit was the only part that was not up to par. It tasted like it came from a can and wasnt fresh. Definitely would not get the fruit and would stick to the meat. Pro: Literally everything else was so delicious. The home fries were so flavorful!!! It had the perfect blend of spices and what i loved was that the meal did not taste greasy whatsoever. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The pancakes were so freaking delish! when i first saw them i thought they had forgotten to put the walnut and bananas only to realize the toppings are actually placed in the bottom of each pancakes super unusual but it definitely works. I would 100% recommend the Moby Dick platter.

What an amazing breakfast spot. Great energy, staff super friendly, food just amazing. Well priced, perfect portion size. Highly recommend this place!!!

Tacos Del Captain and The Old Salt - A breakfast plate includes two sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, toast, and breakfast potatoes. A separate plate has tacos filled with eggs, meat, and vegetables, with sauce and potatoes.

Blend By Chef Lou - Calamari very good!

We went to Spring Lake beach this weekend and we were looking for a good restaurant. We found Blend…read moreby Chef Lou. It's a nice, quiet venue and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We started with the bread, a focaccia, which was served with an olive oil that had a large roasted garlic in it. It was a delicious starter, and complimented our Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was 'different' - aren't they all? I've been experiencing very different types - the one tonight had a subtle dressing - with a subdued sweetness. The grated Parmesan and Breadcrumbs smothered the salad - when you see the picture, you'll understand. It was a good salad, however I would have preferred less grating and more dressing. Next up, the Waygu Meatballs, in a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. The meatballs were excellent. I was mystified by the accompanying 'jar' of 'basil' ricotta. See attached picture-it's a large amount of ricotta - I tasted it - it was very creamy but the basil was faintly noticeable. I added a little to a meatball and it didn't enhance the 'bite' at all. I was embarrassed leaving this large jar of cheese. We shared the two entrees - the first, Sea Bass on a bed of mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and had the most delicate taste. It was 'too delicate', if there is such a thing as- for they say, ' good fish, doesn't taste like fish '. However, the fish needed seasoning or sauce - one or the other, or both. The next entree was the mushroom house made ravioli - a tender pasta with a mushroom filling covered in a creamy, earthy mushroom sauce. We also ordered a side of sautéed wild mushrooms and added those to the ravioli - it was a wonderful dish.

The worst part was some of the tables are very close so sitting next to an obnoxious guy makes it hard to ignore. Anyway, the food: we each got a salad: Caesar salad dressing was in point, but TOO much cheese and the croutons were stale but there were t that many of those so no biggie. Hubby got the Tre colore salad which was a special & he loved it. For dinner we both did specials: chicken rollatini (amazing! Highlight dish of the evening) & husband got the Salmon Oscar which was very good too. Took dresser home as we often do bc we were stuffed: ring ding for 2. WOW! The pastry chef there is a genius and super talented, it was SO GOOD! I had coffee which was fantastic & hubby had espresso also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Held every Friday from 3-6 PM, this tail-wagging idea comes courtesy of their fantastic bar manager, Matt. Set on the patio garden bar outside the picturesque historic farmhouse, the event features happy hour specials for both humans and their four-legged companions. Pet parents can indulge in fine American cuisine and drink specials, while pups get their own Bark Bites menu, offering a burger patty or chicken breast served with rice and carrots, available in half or full portions. There are even hydration bowls with fruit-infused water to keep the pups cool and refreshed. Leashed and friendly dogs are always welcome to dine outdoors overlooking the beautiful property. Everything I ate was delicious with a nice presentation and I am not impressed by mediocre. Waitress was super friendly and helpful too. However service was slightly on the slow side (waiting for drinks / courses), but all is forgiven because the ambience is stunning (old, ornate estate with whimsical garden) + there was a live lounge singer to entertain. APPS: free bread basket with a really nice whipped herb butter. Mahi ceviche had interesting flavors, not bad, but slightly on fishier side. The salmon cake was excellent - fresh lump and lightly seared. ENTREES: Highly recommend the teres major steak medallions - cooked to perfection (medium to medium rare) with a blue cheese & crab sauce that paired excellently. Tasty sautéed spinach and real mashed potatoes (not processed). My guest really enjoyed their monkfish dish (poor man's lobster) with julienned veggies, olives, and an interesting sweet yet tangy oil based sauce. DRINKS/DESSERT: Pear martini was fantastic for spring. Real puree used. Nice wine selection (and great happy hour deals). Desserts were NOT slept on like many places do. Excellent flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce - not very sweet at all and rich. Generous slice. Also the best brown sugar bread pudding I've had in this part of the country. So moist with ice cream and whip. They're always running weekly specials with discounts and entertainment. Fire pits in the summer. Ample parking. Would definitely recommend here for a nice evening out.
