Our go to place for breakfast but they do a great lunch too! Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is also very clean. The food is awesome. All the food is well priced and delicious! We love eating outside in warmer weather. The portion sizes are large so you will be bringing it home or share. Their omelets are really good....everything is just great! Thanks to the Yelp community for leading me to one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've had in a long time! I took a chance with Bubba's Breakfast Bowl, and what came back was an excellently constructed meal. By accident or design, the trendy concept of a "bowl" style menu item delivered just what I could only hope for. The bowl consists of grilled chorizo, roasted potatoes with onions and peppers, with the addition of cheddar cheese, jalapeños and the Cafe's own Rex chili sauce. Topping the bowl are two sunny side up eggs. At first presentation I couldn't believe that I would be able to eat this stuffed dish without spilling it all over the counter. Taking it carefully, I worked my way in, relishing the balance between the contents. The eggs were cooked perfectly - a very rare find in a sunny side up egg. There was just enough sauce as to not make it soggy, and the spice level was perfect for this guy (who does enjoy it spicy.) Coupled with a solid cup of coffee, I could not have been more pleased with the fare. read more

Stopped here at 2pm on Sunday. They were still serving breakfast and/or lunch. I'm not much of a burrito or sandwich guy, so I went with breakfast. My wife had a chicken salad. Coffee was great and my eggs came out exactly as I ordered. Asked for separate plate for home fries and the request was honored. You wouldn't believe how often that request is ignored. Darlene's salad was very fresh, had a wonderful balsamic dressing and was served when I got my eggs. I had bacon (the real stuff), sausage, white toast and home fries. It was all good. Toast could have been a little darker I suppose. The home fries alone were worth the stop. Onions, potatoes and some spice (hot) that was delicious. My wife could not finish her salad. Got it boxed, then forgot to take it with us. We were in Belmar by the time we realized we didn't take it and my wife wanted to go back and get it. I said, "gee, it's only lettuce" and she then said "but it is really good lettuce". read more

We are a family with 2 small children and had to bare the disrespectfulness level of the costumers that come here (young adults). That together with the distracted staff and ok food will not make us go back. The restroom is common and while our daughter of 6 years old was waiting to use it, others passed in front just because they were in the same group leaving it unusable (not even flushing the toilet...). The food is consistently fantastic but whatever female is working Saturday morning answering phones needs to be spoken to about common human decency. She rushed me through my order and then hung up on me at the end of my order without so much as a goodbye or a "see you in 20 minutes." She was incredibly curt and rude the entire conversation. If part of your job is taking phone orders, you should know how to speak courteously and politely to your customers. If I were from out of town and didn't know how good the food was, I would change my mind and cancel my order after dealing with someone with such an attitude. Management should address this because I foresee it resulting in a loss of business. Definitely giving off a terrible first impression. Our order was also incorrect.
