10 stars if I could. Been coming here forever. Drive from Asbury Park because it's that good. You cant beat the quality of food, attention to detail and price. The service is great and the owner is the best. They even order grandma's coffee cakes for you if you want them. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is consistently perfect. read more

First time at this cute little restaurant, let me start with the CONS then I'll jump into the amazingness , VERY BAD CON one our cups had lip stick stans on it , no no no, and second didn't like that the boneless chicken wings were just grilled chicken fingers covered in buffalo sauce. The pros. The Beef stew soup was pretty good solid needed a little more beef but it was a nice cute bowl. Also best Chicken Caesar Salad and dressing we tasted. Delicious. This place was good, but the portions were smaller and the atmosphere a bit disorderly. The staff seemed overwhelmed, running in and out, and my food either took too long or was forgotten due to a backup--it's hard to tell. Despite this, the place is cute and small, and it definitely gets packed. If they had more space, I think they could manage better. Right now, it's just a bunch of tables close to each other. The food was simple but good, which justifies the great reviews. However, it took almost an hour to get my meal, and no one seemed to care about the delay. I did get a discount, but it was minimal. I wish the entire meal had been free. read more

This place is such a cute spot, and the food is amazing! We stopped in for Father's Day lunch before heading to the beach. I was so full, but couldn't stop eating because it was just THAT good!!! Our server, Ryan was great. He made sure we had everything we needed, and extra for our little guy. I got the beach burger with steak fries. My husband got the crispy chicken wrap with waffle fries. Great spot for breakfast and lunch in Manasquan! They're also BYOB so great for mimosas! Smaller restaurant but no wait when we went on a weekend! Great homemade soup! The service was excellent. Love Town Grill! Cute and cozy inside. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. They have a lot of yummy food but their burgers and salads are what I usually go for. The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and very clean. The owner is a very very nice gentleman. My mom and I went there twice in one week for lunch. The chicken noodle soup is delicious. I try chicken salad in every restaurant I go to, and this is one of the best I've ever had. The bread products are delicious. We are going to try to come back for the dinner menu.. Highly recommend! read more

Chef owner looks like he is doing it all in the kitchen Food not consistent and the guy looks a little too scruffy occasionally We just can't bring ourselves to go back Rather go to blend and be served by a bunch of kids that have no idea what customer service is but at least chef Lou puts out decent food and he is right next door at peach pit and blend can't go town anymore read more

Very solid, consistent place for eggs, burgers, and more. We've been many times for breakfast and lunch. I had originally passed it by because the name was a little generic and it kind of slipped past my interest. But someone mentioned that it was the same guy as the old Broadway Grill so we went for burgers which are still fantastic and one of the best around. The other thing to note here is the service. There are a lot of high school kids who work here which normally indicates mediocre service at best because nobody bothers to train them. But everyone here is friendly, prompt, and cares about their job which is so nice to see. read more

My wife and I decided to take a half day from work and go to the beach. We stopped in town on our way home and decided to give this restaurant a try. Wow!!! We were impressed...we're picky about our burgers but these were fantastic and they use a good quality beef. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger and my wife had the sweet bacon slaw burger...yum! Also, we are gluten free and couldn't eat the appetizers but the owner said we could have the side of grilled vegetable platter as an appetizer...it was fantastic packed with a lot of fresh veggies and they were fresh and grilled just right. I ordered the salmon with avacado salsa on a dare to myself because I hate salmon but this was DELICIOUS! On top of it all, Chef was not happy with the portion so he came out with a whole second (equally delicious) piece of salmon for me! I highly recommend this spot. Visited the Town Grill at about 6:30 on a Friday night. This was the busiest I've ever seen them, with every table full. The waitresses were kept extremely busy, and yet they remained as cheerful and friendly as ever. Our food took just a tad longer than usual, which is understandable given the volume of customers. Can't say enough good things about the food! For such a small venue, their menu is spot on. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger, my friend had the Flounder Francaise. Everything was cooked perfectly, presented well and was served in generous quantities. They don't take reservations, so be sure to get there early if you're hitting a show at the Algonquin. Highly, highly recommend this jewel of an eatery! P.S. Watch the one little step up at the front door! read more
