Service was amazing as always. Always love the feeling of a cozy little homie diner w throw back 60s music to make you feel like your home. Quite. Let's get into the food . The penne vodka while the sauce is a lighter color the taste was good enough my gf didn't need parm cheese like always, (just a bit too overcooked). The pancakes big and yummy . The eggs and sausage cooked to perfection thank you. And I appreciate them having cream of turkey soup, which I can never find substitution with no problems and a balsamic dressing that was very creamy and delicious Overall 4.5 outta 5

It's so cute, truly a retro diner with old fashioned menus that have a wood cover. The service is great, the place is very clean and the food was really delicious.

Driving home from The Shore we needed lunch and this place was perfect for a family. Nice kids menu with solid options including a kids salad. Service was kind and welcoming. Ambiance was homey and charming with a sweet emphasis on book decor. French onion soup was great. Highly recommend the New Orleans salad with hot, freshly grilled chicken. Pete got a diner staple - Burger Deluxe and it was perfect. Excellent price point and portions. Loved every minute and can't wait to go back.

Very cozy diner in Brick Township. Solid food choices from breakfast items to cheesesteaks. Loved the dark wood interior and the wooden menus. Great service.

It's kind of like stepping back in time. The menus are made of wood, the decor is pleasant and it's was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We had breakfast and lunch. Egg sandwiches the kids enjoyed. Grilled chicken sandwich and BLT. Great meal, we'll be back for sure.

They had the perfect crisp, great seasoning, and that soft crunch that makes it impossible to stop eating. The cucumber mint drink instantly reminded me of my Spanish heritage. It was refreshing, flavorful, and paired perfectly with everything else. Now, let's talk about the bowl. I loaded this thing with just about everything they offered, and honestly... I couldn't even finish it. It was huge. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The cabbage, lettuce, lentils, rice, chicken, falafel, roasted corn, pickled onions, and sauces on the side all worked together perfectly. Every bite had a different combination of flavors, and nothing tasted out of place. My only real complaint is that since I ordered half chicken and half falafel, it felt like the chicken portion was a little skimpy. I also wouldn't mind seeing just a little more rice, but that's a minor issue. For $19, this is one of the most complete, satisfying meals I've had in a long time. It's fresh, filling, packed with flavor, and actually leaves you feeling like you got your money's worth.

I'm honestly not sure what was more impressive to me; the soups or the sandwiches. I guess I'll start with their namesake, the soup. First time I came here I tried the French onion, since what better 'simple' soup to judge a soup place by, right? Excellent, right out of the gate - utterly bursting with caramelized onion flavor, and just a hint of brandy, I believe? I later came back and tried the Thai coconut and "thanksgiving dinner" soups, with each one seriously cramming a ton of flavor into each bite. Never thought I'd be blown away by soup, of all things, but here we are. The sandwiches are just as good as the soups were, and are priced really fairly for the quality and portion you get. Most of their sandwiches are made on their homemade "pesto bread", which may be the moistest, softest bread I've had in years. If you can't decide, they seem to run specials frequently, where you can get a sandwich & cup of soup. The only 'negative' I can think of is that since sandwiches are made to order, it can take ~10-15 mins to get sandwiches and the like, but this isn't a McDonalds, so I feel like that's expected. Besides, your patience is greatly rewarded. Skip the chain food; there's some really inspired, friendly folks here cranking out some of the best stuff in town. Well worth a visit, imo!

Mind you I despise eating Greek as we travel into NYC 5 boroughs and have eaten at some incredible Greek establishments. The restaurant decor is clean and styled as if you are in Greece. Very light and pleasant. Service was excellent and I ordered the large Greek salad to split with wife, Gyro platter for myself and wife ordered Avgolemono soup. Salad came very fast, romaine lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, feta and olives which were above average and pepperoncini peppers. Salad was a solid 9! In season tomatoes would've clearly brought up to a 10. Gyro platter was served with fries, rice or potatoes which I chose and simply delicious. Also came with a small bed of salad and tzatziki sauce. An unbelievable portion size and quality another solid 9. Serving size I would give an 11! Wife's soup was also delicious and between half a salad and cup of soup, she couldn't finish and had to take home. A wonderful dining experience and this will be on our lists of stops. A true gem and the staff made you feel welcome and wanted! Can't wait to go back!!

I ordered from Yasas by Michael Symon, a Mediterranean restaurant. So, when Wonder came to Brick, I had to visit. I went in yesterday. It is a very small space located in Brick Plaza. There are tables and chairs for ten people only (I counted in case I decide to return with friends). There is a one-person, large, accessible bathroom in the front as well. There is a rack for pickup orders and then places to order the food. The staff immediately approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. I noticed the staff did that for everyone who walked in. They showed people how to download the app and how to order. I decided to order from Yasas again for my mom and Hanu Poke, a poke bowl restaurant. Our bowls were both huge and packed with food. My mom did say she thought the chicken portion was small--she said the same thing in Middletown. However, the bowl was so packed that it was enough food. I loved my tofu poke bowl! Since I am vegan and gluten-free, I asked them about the sauce, and they showed me how to indicate my dietary restrictions on the app. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The bathroom was even spotless. I hope they continue to offer great service and great food.
