An amazing array of breakfast possibilities including personalised omelettes and even grits are available! The quiche is the best one I've had since France. Lunch and dinner are excellent too - sandwiches and seafood are fresh and the right portions are always served. The diner is meticulously clean and beautifully decorated right down to artistic and hand crafted menus. And the price is fair for what you get. Also you can take one of their delicious desserts home with you if you are too full to eat it there. Definitely one of the best eateries in the area. I would highly recommend the Corner Post!

I don't normally leave reviews, but my recent experience was bad enough that I feel compelled to…read moreshare it. This was the second-worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The chicken noodle soup tasted foul--almost as though the soup pot hadn't been properly cleaned between uses. My mother ordered a fruit cup with her meal, but the first thing they brought her was French fries. When they corrected the mistake, they brought out watermelon, pineapple, and banana slices. While the fruit itself would have been fine, the banana was already beginning to brown, which made it look particularly unappetizing. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. The French toast was limp and undercooked, and the French fries were hot on the outside but cold in the middle. The experience was bad enough that we noticed another customer at a table across and diagonally from us take one bite of his burger, put it down, get up, and leave without eating any more. By the time we left, we hadn't been able to eat much of anything. We ended up stopping at McDonald's on the way home because we were still hungry and needed something we could actually eat. I understand that mistakes happen in restaurants, but this was far beyond a single mistake or an off dish. Nearly everything we ordered had a problem, and the overall quality was extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not return.

Good: waitress, steak, potato's, pork roll, pancakes, coffee, music…read more Reason we wouldn't return: there are only 10 tables in here. The hostess has this look of doom on her face every time someone comes in. Table of 3. Doom. Table of 4. Doom. Table for 2 and a car seat. Super DOOM. Can you move us. Doom. She looks like she's looking across the Cheesecake Factory for a table. And I'm looking like is there another restaurant in the back? Nope. Just doom. We were waiting for a table no big deal. I'm not an instant gratification person. I'll wait an hour for a good place. And they tried to accommodate us by sitting us at a bistro table for 2. I'm like no we'll wait and they're like everyone just sat down you're gonna have to wait a long time and my husband was like OK. This is fine so I just went along with that. First thing you need to fix that table it is wobbly flip it over grab a screwdriver and make it not wobbly. Second take those tables unless you were ordered by a fire marshal to only have that size throw them in the garbage and put four regular tables there. Not round. Not itty-bitty. Four tables for four people it would certainly alleviate the face of doom. No one might wonder God why are you going on and on about the tables well for three people three breakfasts I waited for my food for over an hour so I paid attention to every thing that was around me in the itty-bitty teeny tiny restaurant. The bacon was mushy. I don't know if it was raw, but it was mushy. The parts that were cooked to my liking were really good, but I didn't want to eat it because I just kept thinking is this raw? My last little issue is all the little charges on the bill. I don't expect food to be cheap. I don't expect breakfast to be cheap either. I am realistic. I know that when I go out to eat likely I'm spending a minimum of $100. One of the meals we ordered was steak and eggs so I definitely knew we were spending over $100. However. Charging $.20 for cream for coffee is such a stupid business decision. That stuff gets you one star reviews, and makes old people really mad. Work it into the price of the coffee. The girl asked me what kind of toast I wanted, pumpernickel, some sort of grain bread or I can't remember what the third one was. Why are you charging me for toast? It's supposed to come with my food. Was the pumpernickel toast more money? Why didn't you say that? Why do I have to scour the menu for all these little hidden charges? It's stupid you need to fix that. Overall, I think the place is good, but it certainly needs some tweaking the people running around the dining room with the exception of the girl who is our waitress with the braids just looks lost. Some people got an explanation of the menu. Some people didn't some people look like they come there 100 times a month. And I'm sure there's a reason for that. The food wasn't bad but for a first time it was also my last time cause I don't mind spending $100 on food and sitting down to eat, but it needs to be better then just good and it missed the mark. But for the love of god get rid of those stupid small middle tables they're not even big enough for 2 people. I do wish you nothing but success though. Change the tables and retrain doom face and I'll make it 5 stars.

This is a good Jersey diner, has all the classics along with their own versions. For example, they…read morehave burgers named after the local parkway exit & burgers with pork roll, & other combos and local favorites. However, what they need are the proper buns for burgers with all these fixins'. They use a sesame seed bun, which is fine if you're having two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, & pickles. But, these patties need a sturdier base for their toppings & sauces. On more than several of the last occasions, I've had my burger fall apart half-way through & have had to make the decision to grab my knife & fork or power through. They use a hard roll for their pork roll, (some call it Taylor Ham), & I'm not sure if substituting rolls is an option, but if you're stacking burgers & saucing them up, you need a bread that can handle the job. And, a Jersey hard roll will never let you down. Forget about it.

We swung by on a whim, enchanted by the sparking, beckoning appearance of the building. I was sad and confused to see some low Yelp scores after our visit today. We both had excellent omelets, and even more amazing service from our server (Kali, Kaily - not sure how to spell). She immediately adapted to his strange speech due to his disease, was on point, and warming. The strong coffee was delicious! I found the women's restroom to be spotless, as was the rest of the establishment. Even the shiny ceiling decor was dazzling & clean. (When you look up in most places - it's not!) The dessert counter looked amazing - but we were too full to indulge. We will be back, just for that! They have a Cannoli cheesecake that looks amazing and worth returning for. I recommend giving this diner a go, especially in the off-season like we did. It's probably hard to keep with the summer tourists.
