The service was great. The food quality was like a crossover of Chilli's & Applebee's. The zingers are very good. The entrees were just ok. It's a good place to come sit at the bar and have some appetizers. Also child friendly dining.

Mimi's Fiesta Bowl. So good and cheap.

For what you get for your money, I think the prices for the food are as about as good as you're going to get. I've been ordering "Mimi's Fiesta Bowl", my last couple of times and at under 600 calories and only $16.00, I'll definitely make that my go to order even if I'm not watching my diet. I like that they have two open bar areas to choose from. I've had their wings and the Prime Rib sandwich is also a favorite of mine. I honestly can't really find anything not to like about the place after visiting with friends at least a few times over the last year. Less than 10 minutes away, cheap and comfortable. A lot of places have shut down over the years and I really miss a couple of them. Miller's is a really great option for me.

Went to Millers Ale House for the first time. Food was excellent and plentiful. My friend and I both had the Cobb Salad, fresh and enough for 2 people. My other friend had the prime rib, 12oz. Looked delicious and it was done to her taste and perfection. Normally we don't have desserts, but we decided to splurge. Good choices on our end. Service was very good, and our waitress helped us with the menu choices. The ambiance is typical of a bar but it was clean and we weren't sitting on top of one another. Good choices on our end

The Moscow mule was quite good especially for the price. I did find that the fajitas were a bit bland but that was almost to be expected given the menu so I can't be too disappointed. One shout out to our waitress was that my husband has food allergies and she was very thorough with what he could and could not have and communicated well.

The service was super, Alannah was ON. Shrimp/chicken bowl was excellent as well as the half rack and fried shrimp. My margarita was 3.99. Not bad for a House Tequila. Non-alcoholic drinks are somewhat high $4. We ate on the patio section ( indoor). There are also tables for outdoor dining. The main area reminds me of Brick House Tavern in Tinton Falls. This Ale House is the first one down the Shore area. I know there's one in Woodbridge.

Being located right along the river in downtown Asbury provides a scenic backdrop should you be so lucky be seated at a window. My birthday was very fortunate having landed on restaurant week in Asbury, of which Moonstruck also participate. As part of restaurant week, we received three-courses for the same cost as entree ordinarily would on its own. I began with a cream of sweet potato soup that was thick, creamy, and delicious. This was followed by an everything crusted Salmon that I very much enjoyed. I find that while a lot of restaurants offer salmon, few prepare it as well as the offering Moonstruck has here, being perfectly cooked and well seasoned with everything seasoning. It was topped off with a pumpkin cheesecake that was just sweet enough to satisfy. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Moonstruck and will certainly be making a return visit when back in the area!

Everything was great, and our server was fantastic (I believe his name was Michael). We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

I know they have great pizza, but I wanted to find brunch in the area. We sat at the bar because there were plenty of seats. It looked like there were two bartenders working. The restaurant was only half full, but we thought we'd have good service at the bar. Our server seemed new; she didn't write down our order. She repeated it back incorrectly, still didn't write it down, and then entered it into the POS system. She kept asking if it was correct as she shouted it back to us. We thought this was weird because she could've just written it down. We ordered ricotta toast and a breakfast sandwich with bacon. It took 40 minutes for the food to come out and when it did they forgot the bacon. And my toast was cold. We asked the other bartender about the bacon and the long wait time, and he was very rude. We said, we ordered 40 minutes ago and no one came back to check on us. The girl who waited on us was standing behind the bar, staring at us, writing in a notebook and never acknowledged us after that. The other male bartender was rude when we asked how much longer our order would take he said "You did not order 40 minutes ago!!" I said, we did. Upon walking into the restaurant, we took several pictures and they were time stamped. The male bartender went over to the POS system to check our order. We stated that we did order bacon 40 minutes prior. It had never been put in so he added it to our order. We waited for the bacon; it didn't come out for several minutes. While we were waiting, I asked for the manager and the male bartender snapped back at me and said "Why?" He didn't want to get her, and I insisted I speak to her because I wanted to let someone about this experience. He walked away from the bar, threw his hands up and was yelling. After that he didn't speak to us either. I find it shocking that there are people like this who don't care about food, service or helping customers at all. I wouldn't go back here because it was very strange, and I've never had an experience with two servers who were so rude and aloof.

The building is in the National Historic Registry. (Cool Ambiance) This Ale House is humongous with at least two to three bars. The interior was really colorful with upbeat wall to wall murals. In addition, you'll see some cool stuff like an old-fashioned telephone booth and signage. For fun, there's a small arcade area with timed basketball and air hockey in one area of the ale house. (Service & Food) Natasha was our wonderful and caring server. A bottle of cold water and glasses w/ice were brought to the table. We ordered soft drinks to start out. For lunch, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Avocado BLT and a Caprese Sandwich. Both sandwiches had wonderful fresh ingredients. Each platter came with a small air fryer container of spicy chips. The bacon on my sandwich was nice and crispy. Just the way I like it. : D The manager Nicole came to check in on our table along with others. We told her everything was great. The food didn't take too long to come out and the portions were good but the taste was just okay. We did experience a couple missing items (side of avocado and chimichurri) and brought this to the server's attention. For the chimichurri, we were told that it didn't come with the steak because they didn't have it anymore so they didn't include it in our meal. We should have been told this before the food came out or even right after it was set on the table. We were offered a replacement sauce (pico de gallo) just to find out that it cost extra and had to explain that it should be free as a replacement to the chimichurri. The manager was able to comp the pico and apologized. At the end of the meal, I was also surprised to not receive any acknowledgement that I was celebrating my birthday (which I marked on the reservation). Once I received the receipt, I noticed that we were also charged extra for the missing side of avocado and an extra sauce. This was not disclosed to us prior. I can see why this place would be popular due to the atmosphere but the food and service here would not have me coming back.

I did tell her I cant eat spicy stuff although I enjoy lightly spicy stuff. Drinks: I tried the Lebanese red wine. Very nice medium body. My husband tried the old fashioned which he said were good. Starters: we had the salatim which is 6 different dips and two piping hot large pita breads. I liked 4 out of 6 dips while hubby liked 5 out of 6. We both loved the hummus, salad, lima bean, and eggplant ones. This kind of eating is always fun. The discovery! STAR: The star is the halloumi. Fried cheese with lightly sweet crispy crust honeyed and topped with a light refreshing salad and pomenegrate seeds. Our server charmingly apologized she forgot to warn me about the codfish chili being potentially hot but I ended up trying and enjoying it, although I felt the fish was slightly overcooked. Not rubbery but a little too crusty and not flaky enough. I did not complain though because her dessert recommendation for malabi, a custard with oat crisps, was lovely. Nice to share with hubby and cap off the night. Temperature control: we sat somewhat near the front so were hit with cold air anytime someone entered. My husband is recovering from back surgery so walking was difficult for him. I appreciate he planned such a nice outing for us despite his walking challenges.
