We were treated to dinner at this fine establishment and we totally enjoyed the experience…read more The decor is industrial eco chic, the vibe is relaxed and easy. Our server Tini was warm, friendly, professional, and attentive. Our cocktails were Smoke Signal, La Vie En Rose and Spritzing the Night Away, all were perfectly made (love the names) . For our appetizers we had the Lamb chops, AP Meatball, Duck Confit Wings and Calamari Piccata. All were flavorful and perfectly prepared, side note the portion sizes are pretty generous. Now for the entrees, we had the Double Chop, Salmon and Lobster and shrimp special. OMG all the dishes were hot and delicious and beautifully presented. Finally for dessert pistachio flour less cake, chocolate cake and espresso cheese cake. The perfect ending to a great meal.

(Once, a steak was a bit too rare, but my companion didn't want to send it back- I would have) This time, we had some oysters, octopus, and shrimp to start (all very yummy), Branzino and two of the double pork chops (one 'medium-well', one 'well', and they were right on the money). The sides were good, and the wine- while a little pricey- was excellent! Our waitress- Destiny - was very nice, but if you're lucky enough to have Alison, you've hit the top of the charts as far as professionalism goes. We'll be back!

The service throughout the night was appreciated, specifically at the bar. I will give my thoughts on each food item tried below. Lomi-Lomi Salmon - This raw dish was tasty. There was solid flavor and tiny pieces of salmon had a melt in the mouth like texture. Kalua Pork - This was very tender with a good amount of seasoning. Sweet Potatoes - I believe these were purple. They were good with having a soft texture too. Mixed Green Salad with Papaya Seed Dressing - This was light and a nice compliment to the other dishes. Macaroni Salad - Again, this was light with tons of flavor. Huli Huli Chicken - These were small chicken wings with lots of meat. They had a slightly sweet flavor to them and were very tender too. Will I go back? Yes.

Just a block away from where we were already having dinner on the boardwalk... extremely convenient. On street parking can be found. Entrance was easy and friendly. Elevator to the rooftop and you're immediately impressed by the layout and beautiful views. We found that service at the bar was quick and easy. Didn't order any cocktails, just prosecco and wine, so can't really review those. Music was decent enough and if you move to the far end of the rooftop past the bathrooms, you can even have a nice conversation without screaming. I'd definitely come back again for a cocktail or two.

Didnt partake in $25 valet parking but was sorely tempted. The indoors are beautiful, white walls and pretty decorations, large bar. Service: Terrific. 5 stars. Julia was awesome, helpful and honest. I did tell her I cant eat spicy stuff although I enjoy lightly spicy stuff. Drinks: I tried the Lebanese red wine. Very nice medium body. My husband tried the old fashioned which he said were good. Starters: we had the salatim which is 6 different dips and two piping hot large pita breads. I liked 4 out of 6 dips while hubby liked 5 out of 6. We both loved the hummus, salad, lima bean, and eggplant ones. This kind of eating is always fun. The discovery! STAR: The star is the halloumi. Fried cheese with lightly sweet crispy crust honeyed and topped with a light refreshing salad and pomenegrate seeds. Our server charmingly apologized she forgot to warn me about the codfish chili being potentially hot but I ended up trying and enjoying it, although I felt the fish was slightly overcooked. Not rubbery but a little too crusty and not flaky enough. I did not complain though because her dessert recommendation for malabi, a custard with oat crisps, was lovely. Nice to share with hubby and cap off the night. Temperature control: we sat somewhat near the front so were hit with cold air anytime someone entered. My husband is recovering from back surgery so walking was difficult for him. I appreciate he planned such a nice outing for us despite his walking challenges. All in all, we would return and explore cocktails and other menu items.

Being located right along the river in downtown Asbury provides a scenic backdrop should you be so lucky be seated at a window. My birthday was very fortunate having landed on restaurant week in Asbury, of which Moonstruck also participate. As part of restaurant week, we received three-courses for the same cost as entree ordinarily would on its own. I began with a cream of sweet potato soup that was thick, creamy, and delicious. This was followed by an everything crusted Salmon that I very much enjoyed. I find that while a lot of restaurants offer salmon, few prepare it as well as the offering Moonstruck has here, being perfectly cooked and well seasoned with everything seasoning. It was topped off with a pumpkin cheesecake that was just sweet enough to satisfy. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Moonstruck and will certainly be making a return visit when back in the area!

It's such a cute place, and the views of Wesley Lake are beautiful. We were lucky enough to sit outside on a beautiful night and had a delicious dinner. We shared a Moroccan-spiced shrimp appetizer special, and then I had another shrimp special as my main (crab-stuffed), and my husband had the filet mignon. Everything was great, and our server was fantastic (I believe his name was Michael). We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
