Swim Crush has great potential but is just okay. The 2 times I've been there have been during midweek happy hour (offseason) when it's very quiet, and both times the bar was dirty, with cup rings and spilled salt. There is NO excuse for that (like literally, I was the only person sitting at the bar - they were not slammed). The food is tasty. Great big sushi rolls although the individual soy holders they give were clearly designed by someone who doesn't eat sushi (too shallow). I also was charged full price for a happy hour drink (I told the bartender and he rectified it). Just seems like this place needs a little more managerial oversight. HOWEVER, bc of the location and HH, I will be back...it's just not at the top of my list.

It took about 30 minutes for my freind to get his French toast and his whip cream was melted. He had cold food. It took 40 minutes for me to get my food. This place wasn't even crowded but it still took so long. The chocolate chip pancakes weren't even good. Not worth the wait. I'm not coming back here. 1 star.

Swim crush was an OK experience. The food is fairly basic and the drinks were just okay. I got the chicken tacos and blue crush drink. The drink was so sweet I almost couldn't finish it. We were waiting for them to text us our table was ready for 90 minutes before going back and seeing a million tables open. Super weird they didn't text us to tell us a table was ready. Ambiance is the reason you go here. Good music and great views right on the boardwalk

ASBURY PARK: Swimcrush AP is a restaurant right on the boardwalk and leashed dogs are allowed at the outdoor seating! Coming to you from the same owners as The Break and Low Dive, this beach bar and grill has a chill ambiance, an American food menu, and a nice drink list. The orange crush is excellent and our favorite in NJ! The view of the ocean and boardwalk are perfect. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6pm with $8 food specials and various drink specials. We wish we got the name of our server because she was excellent on an extremely busy evening. Brie, Hopey, and Marshmallow pregamed here before a show at the Stone Point Summer Stage.

Pretty good Seafood spot on the beach. We had steamed clams in garlic sauce and I enjoyed a grilled white fish sandwich which were both very good. Nice atmosphere right at the beach with good music playing and great service, the server was fantastic, a nice young lady with a great smile.

American food @ Ashbury Park, NJ, grabbed a late lunch inside the restaurant. My husband's burger came with two thin burger patties with cheese and the chip, he said it was pretty good. The side order of fries came out hot but needed salt and pepper. My fried rock shrimp was not crispy and didn't like the sauce. The Mexican larger wasn't cold enough. The service was good and inside was spacious with a bar and TV.

Had an amazing lunch on the boardwalk in Asbury Park -- the perfect combination of great food, ocean views, and a lively atmosphere. Julianna was our waitress, very nice and attentive to our needs. We sampled several items from the new sushi menu, and everything was absolutely delicious. I'm already craving the edamame -- perfectly seasoned and so fresh! The seaweed salad was light and flavorful, and the poke bowl was packed with vibrant, fresh ingredients. The Surf and Turf roll really stood out -- a perfect balance of flavors and textures. To top it all off, I sipped on a refreshing watermelon crush while watching the waves roll in and the boardwalk bustle with energy. This spot is a must if you're in AP -- whether you're a sushi fan or just looking for a relaxing, tasty lunch by the ocean!

Walked around & landed on this place. Such a swanky cool kind of new age hipster but also vintage vibe? Lol No idea! But I sure was digging it! The bartender was super sweet in helping me make a decision for dinner, because I wanted to try it ALL. I folded on the Lemony Shrimp & Bean stew (absolutely spectacular and this is coming from someone that doesn't like being or vegetable type soups) the leeks were so yummy but the shrimp was the star, just look at how huge they were. Sliced Flat Iron - SO JUICY. Such flavor! Literally haven't had any steak til this day that could replicate that flavor of the scallion chimichurri and celery root purée. It has been over a year now since I've been here, and I still CRAVE, I'm talking I have full on dreams about having this place again. Can confirm, I AM Homesick.

My group shared the mini lobster rolls, French dip sandwich, and cablarian chile shrimp. My one friend ordered the soup of the day, corn poblano. The appetizers were excellent! We would have liked some bread to share while waiting for our food. For the entrees, we ordered the hamburger and bucatini. Both were cooked to our liking. I loved my bucatini cooked with zucchini and garlic. The cherry on top were the zucchini flowers. This added a nice crunch. Our cocktails were refreshing. My summertime cocktail had cucumber and St. Germain. It was refreshing! Next door to Homesick is Lovesick, an adorable cocktail bar. When down the shore, this is definitely a must try!

The Matcha Matcha Man was smooth, creamy, and dangerously easy to drink -- the matcha coconut cream with the ginger beer gave it such a unique refreshing kick. The Lady Marmalade tasted like sunshine in a glass with the perfect citrusy balance and just enough sweetness from the marmalade. The food menu is definitely more small plates/appetizer style, but honestly everything tasted super fresh and packed with flavor. The coconut shrimp were jumbo and crispy with the perfect sweetness, the mango habanero chicken bites super fresh, and the wagyu sliders disappeared embarrassingly fast. The real star though? The outdoor lounge setup overlooking the ocean. It's the kind of place where you go for "one drink" and suddenly it's three hours later and you're debating ordering another round just to stay for sunset. It's walk in only but wasn't too packed ...we went around 5pm but seems to have a packed late night vibe and crowd as well during summer !

My friend and I were in town for an event and looking for a place to grab an early dinner…read morebeforehand when I came across Moonstruck. The restaurant was located in a multi-floor home on Wesley Lake, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Cookman Avenue. The first floor was more of a bar and lounge, and they had a live jazz band on the evening we visited. We checked in with the hostess and were escorted up to the second floor dining room, which was a charming spot that was breezy and comfortable, yet refined. The floor also had its own bar. Our server was on top of things, but was also clearly newer to the place. Regardless, once we got settled, she took our drink orders, which had taken us some time to decide on since the menu was creative and vast. I went with A Sidecar Named Desire, which included Courvoisier VSOP, Cointreau, Chinola passionfruit liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. I adore passion fruit and had always liked sidecars as well, so I figured it was worth a try, and I loved it! It had a good balance of tart sweetness and smokiness. My friend similarly enjoyed her spicy margarita, and we both imbibed while picking on some bread and herb butter. For our meal, we decided to start by sharing the Greek Salad, which was a massive bowl of romaine topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onions, and Kalamata olives. We left off the feta cheese, but enjoyed the seasoned dressing made of red wine vinegar, honey, salt, oregano, and olive oil. It was a fresh and flavorful mix of vegetables that was a pleasure to eat. The entree options were endless and offered something for everyone. I wound up going with the Chilean Sea Bass, which was served over sweet onions and potatoes in a tomato herb reduction. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. It was a light and tasty dish that seemed perfect for the Spring season. After our meals we were a bit too full for dessert, but we decided to get a second round of drinks, mainly because I was dying to try their Pistachio Espresso-Tini. Wow, was that drink delicious! It blended Ketel One Vodka, Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur, natural pistachio flavor, and fresh espresso. The coffee notes were not super prevalent, but the creaminess, nuttiness was the real highlight. It was a decadent way to end a delicious meal. After we settled the bill and headed downstairs, I noticed several bowls of after-dinner mints, which were a nice touch. From the relaxed atmosphere to the interesting and expansive menu, Moonstruck was a terrific option for our Asbury dinner experience.

Our server, Michael, provided by far the worst service we've ever received. He appeared to be under the influence of something, as he spent long periods simply standing around making odd faces while our table and several others waited and waited for him to acknowledge us. We were left wondering if anyone was going to take care of us. When my husband politely asked about our meal, Michael became rude instead of apologetic or helpful. The food itself had good flavor, but it arrived cold, like it was not served right away, which was disappointing. To end the meal, we ordered a cappuccino, but it was so poorly made that it tasted like nothing but warm milk. It was completely undrinkable. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've always loved Moonstruck. It's been one of my favorite restaurants because of its excellent food and outstanding service. If this is the level of service the new owners are willing to accept, I worry about the restaurant's future. I truly hope management addresses these issues because Moonstruck has always been top notch!

I only order food from 2 places and this was one of them; I like Jerk wings and their's were pretty consistent. I ordered Jerk wings and Chicken Tenders in September, both of which were horrible and felt like they food was left over and reheated from the fridge. I immediately called and expressed my concerns and was told that they don't have a delivery service connected to them or she would send me out another order. She said that she would write my name in the book and asked my name and phone number. I felt satisfied with the outcome. Then, after my call, my friend showed me the chicken tenders and I just took a picture, confident that it wouldn't be a problem. I was traveling all September and did not get a chance to stop in to pick up the order I was promised by their hostess. Anyway, when I went back in October, a month later, I was told by the manager (male) and he said that there was no book and there was nothing he could do for me, even after I showed him the pictures. Said, "we can't refund carry out orders like that...." Super discourteous, like I was trying to get over for an order of Jerk wings! I didn't even order the tenders and fries, which I also paid for and was trash. Well if a customer that spends a minimum $1200+ dollars a year at your restaurant in carry out, not including eat-in visits aren't valued enough for you to stand behind the product you serve, you shall get nothing from me, ever again and this will be the word-of-mouth I spread from now on. My family of 4 had a 6:30pm reservation on a Friday, and it was the perfect timing, the restaurant wasn't packed, but there was still a great energy and atmosphere. The space itself is beautiful, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. We started with the nachos, and if you're expecting your traditional pile of tortilla chips, cheese and toppings, these are definitely not that! They're individual tostadas topped with guacamole, salsa, cheese and crema. A fun twist and actually really delicious. The kids went with the chicken and cheese quesadilla, which was a huge hit. Simple, but SO good, definitely one of those dishes where I kept sneaking bites from the kids. My husband ordered the Tlayuda Masa, and we actually had to ask our server what it was. He immediately told us it was his favorite item on the Masa section of the menu, so of course we had to trust him. And he was absolutely right! It's essentially an open corn tortilla topped with incredibly tender skirt steak and a seriously good sauce. This ended up being one of the standout dishes of the meal. I ordered the pescado and carnitas tacos, two come with each order, and WOW. Both were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I honestly couldn't decide which I liked more, which is always a good problem to have when ordering tacos. And the whole time I kept thinking, "This feels like a restaurant I'd find in Brooklyn." The food is creative without feeling overly complicated, the space is stylish, and there's just a really cool vibe here. We finished with dessert and tried the flan, which was interesting but personally wasn't my favorite. Then came the horchata ice cream... OH. MY. GOODNESS. I have never had horchata ice cream before, and I am officially wondering where it has been all my life. 10/10. Creamy, flavorful and SO good. Our server mentioned that the menu changes seasonally, which gives me another reason to come back. I would love to see what they do with the fall menu!
