Assorted sorbet, poached pear, and Creme Brulee

Pascal & Sabine was beautifully decorated, but incredibly dim. The music was far too loud at the front, but thankfully we were in the back of the restaurant. It was a bit hard to read the menus, and I don't know how people with vision problems would be able to see what they were eating. The food was good, but the portion sizes were small for the amount you're paying. Our server didn't check on us very often so we were waiting with empty glasses a good chunk of the meal. They also took our bread basket without asking if we were done. Dessert was the best part of the night. The sorbet was good, the poached pear was really interesting, and the crème brûlée was great!

This is our favorite go-to restaurant in Monmouth County, NJ! Everything here is absolutely amazing! The escargot, drink menu, wine selection, foie gras, tartare, just delicious every time and so consistent! Don't leave without trying the frites!

I have been here a few times in the past and then just tried it again this week. This place is okay and the front entrance is really annoying with 3 sets of doors to get inside. We ended up being seated outside and were asked by other people all night if "this was the front door". The outside seating is set up really cute and on a nice summer night, its the perfect place to be for a glass of wine. They have a small but excellent wine selection. This time I wasnt too hungry so I mostly had wine and oysters. The market were PEI and very fresh & tasty. The inside of the restaurant is cool too and nicely decorated but I just prefer to eat outside.

We recently hosted a small brunch for 30 people. We had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The coordinator and manager were able to bring our vision to life and answer all of our questions to pick the perfect menu. They took care of all of the arrangements, place cards, menus etc. the day of we had two wonderful servers who took care of all of our guests needs. The food was even better. Tops picks were - French onion soup, both of their burgers and the pot de crème. Everyone also enjoyed their romaine salad and sandwiches. Between the food, drinks and service you can't go wrong!

We love brunch; well..the idea of it. But as of late, we've been somewhat disappointed by certain choices. However, this place got it right. Along with the usual suspects, (Waffles/Burger/Omelet), Pascal & Sabine had other interesting choices. Like the Duck Confit Eggs Benedict and a Skillet Baked Ratatouille. Next time.... Since it was Sunday Bruch, we started with a Double Espresso and a "Salty Meg". Refreshing with a Vanilla Salt, salted rim. I ordered the Quiche because yes, real men DO eat quiche, contrary to what Bruce Feirstein thinks. It was hearty, tasty with a flakey crust and the Potatoes that accompanied reminded me of Thanksgiving. She started with a traditional French Onion Soup. One of the better ones we've had. Usually after the crouton and cheese are gone, it's time to move on. But the broth was so flavorful and just the right amount of onions. Lyonnaise Salad with a Poached Egg and Pork Belly was something I would never think to order, but think again. What a salad ! We ended the meal with a Milk Chocolate Pots du Crème topped with a layer of sea salted caramel. The chocolate was dense, yet creamy, and the caramel layer on was a nice addition. Definitely meant for sharing. This place made a great start to a rainy Sunday in Asbury, and gave us enough steam to take on the many shops the area has to offer. Honorable mention to our waiter who was attentive and talkative.

Upscale dining in Asbury Park! We met old college friends there and had a fantastic meal. The ambiance is fantastic - live jazz band playing up front, and really nice mood lighting. Had oysters, a charcuterie board and steak tartare to start. I forget what everyone else had as an entree, but I had the steak frites (NY strip). Excellent.

3.75 stars. Came on a weekend night with a reservation and they were busy. There's different sections of the restaurant with different vibes. Some were home like and another part bar and another date night dinner like. Service was friendly and timely. 1. Pork chop - thick piece of pork chop with good flavor. Was not too salty but the veggies were. Sauce was very good. 2. Escargot - saltier than other ones I've had but filling and filled with herbs and oil which was lovely. Forgot to snap a picture but looks like other pictures on here. 3. Crème brûlée - delicious as usual and standard! Overall, was a bit hesitant with the salty reviews (pun intended) which was partially true. Still a good dinner with plenty of food. Would try at least once if you're in the area!

Just passing through Asbury and this was just a walk (15 minutes) from the Asbury club. Just a few drinks and an appy pregaming for dinner. The bartenders were really friendly and attentive. Great start to a great evening.

First time here and Herbie was our server. They were wonderful, friendly, and attentive! We started with cocktails, The Jackal and the Cucumber Sunshine. The Jackal was perfectly spicy, however I wish I tasted more of the ginger. The Cucumber Sunshine was light and refreshing, not too sweet. We started with the brandade croquettes. Unique, crispy, and flavorful. The sauce that accompanies it is citrusy which pairs well with the fried croquettes. I ordered the New York Strip steak frites. My favorite part were the many sauces/toppings it came with. It comes with steak sauce, ketchup, honey mustard (like no other!!), herbaceous compound butter, and sweet caramelized onions (truly caramelized). I was in heaven. We also ordered the spaghetti and clams and I enjoyed their take on this simple dish. The cabernet was dry and full bodied. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. Overall, had a really great experience and I will be coming back!

Pascal & Sabine is a solid dining experience. I've read some mixed reviews about both the service and food being overly salty, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. The host and hostess were welcoming and our server was nice and attentive. The food was also great. I enjoyed the escargot and coq au vin a lot (and I've had both at many other restaurants in the past). My husband got the French onion soup and the Mr. Smith burger. The French onion soup could've had a deeper, richer flavor, but it was decent. He liked the burger with the raclette cheese on it. The fries could've been crispier, but overall, everything was tasty and it was a pleasant experience.

Pascal & Sabine is a great restaurant. It checks all the boxes - food, drinks, service, and ambiance are all . The food is on par with some of the best French restaurants in NYC. The Escargot is not to be missed. Even if you don't eat snails (like me), you need to order this for the butter sauce and should proceed to dip everything and anything you can in the sauce. I'd highly recommend adding this place to your list. It's good for any occasion - parents, birthdays, date night, catching up with friends.

There are some delicious dishes on the menu! Onion soup, salads, steak frites, burger, pork chop, foie, duck, chicken liver is the best, escargots, and oysters, are top picks! I've eaten here at least 30x, it's a fave in AP!

My birthday was very fortunate having landed on restaurant week in Asbury, of which Moonstruck also participate. As part of restaurant week, we received three-courses for the same cost as entree ordinarily would on its own. I began with a cream of sweet potato soup that was thick, creamy, and delicious. This was followed by an everything crusted Salmon that I very much enjoyed. I find that while a lot of restaurants offer salmon, few prepare it as well as the offering Moonstruck has here, being perfectly cooked and well seasoned with everything seasoning. It was topped off with a pumpkin cheesecake that was just sweet enough to satisfy. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Moonstruck and will certainly be making a return visit when back in the area!

Didnt partake in $25 valet parking but was sorely tempted. The indoors are beautiful, white walls and pretty decorations, large bar. Service: Terrific. 5 stars. Julia was awesome, helpful and honest. I did tell her I cant eat spicy stuff although I enjoy lightly spicy stuff. Drinks: I tried the Lebanese red wine. Very nice medium body. My husband tried the old fashioned which he said were good. Starters: we had the salatim which is 6 different dips and two piping hot large pita breads. I liked 4 out of 6 dips while hubby liked 5 out of 6. We both loved the hummus, salad, lima bean, and eggplant ones. This kind of eating is always fun. The discovery! STAR: The star is the halloumi. Fried cheese with lightly sweet crispy crust honeyed and topped with a light refreshing salad and pomenegrate seeds. Our server charmingly apologized she forgot to warn me about the codfish chili being potentially hot but I ended up trying and enjoying it, although I felt the fish was slightly overcooked. Not rubbery but a little too crusty and not flaky enough. I did not complain though because her dessert recommendation for malabi, a custard with oat crisps, was lovely. Nice to share with hubby and cap off the night. Temperature control: we sat somewhat near the front so were hit with cold air anytime someone entered. My husband is recovering from back surgery so walking was difficult for him. I appreciate he planned such a nice outing for us despite his walking challenges. All in all, we would return and explore cocktails and other menu items.

I know they have great pizza, but I wanted to find brunch in the area. We sat at the bar because there were plenty of seats. It looked like there were two bartenders working. The restaurant was only half full, but we thought we'd have good service at the bar. Our server seemed new; she didn't write down our order. She repeated it back incorrectly, still didn't write it down, and then entered it into the POS system. She kept asking if it was correct as she shouted it back to us. We thought this was weird because she could've just written it down. We ordered ricotta toast and a breakfast sandwich with bacon. It took 40 minutes for the food to come out and when it did they forgot the bacon. And my toast was cold. We asked the other bartender about the bacon and the long wait time, and he was very rude. We said, we ordered 40 minutes ago and no one came back to check on us. The girl who waited on us was standing behind the bar, staring at us, writing in a notebook and never acknowledged us after that. The other male bartender was rude when we asked how much longer our order would take he said "You did not order 40 minutes ago!!" I said, we did. Upon walking into the restaurant, we took several pictures and they were time stamped. The male bartender went over to the POS system to check our order. We stated that we did order bacon 40 minutes prior. It had never been put in so he added it to our order. We waited for the bacon; it didn't come out for several minutes. While we were waiting, I asked for the manager and the male bartender snapped back at me and said "Why?" He didn't want to get her, and I insisted I speak to her because I wanted to let someone about this experience. He walked away from the bar, threw his hands up and was yelling. After that he didn't speak to us either. I find it shocking that there are people like this who don't care about food, service or helping customers at all. I wouldn't go back here because it was very strange, and I've never had an experience with two servers who were so rude and aloof.

The berries give it a sweet flavor. He was scooping what fell out of the sandwich with the chips it was that good. I recommend the Honey Boo cocktail if you like sweet flavors and bourbon.
