Note the MALTS advertisement.

This place advertises Malts so I took my elderly mother who just had knee replacement surgery to get one. A worker rudely told that the are served next door when the sign clearly says malts. We were served malts here at The Parlor 2 weeks ago. We had to go next door which was full of kids and a long line. To be honest The Parlor looks more like a storage area for Coastal Cone. Great place to go if you want to be treated rude and get something to eat from a storage room

This was a nice place e for lunch after a day at the beach. Hotdog was cooked just how I like them split and fried. The fries were basic not bad just basic all in all nice if your in the area check them out

Tri-tip on brioche bun.

We walked into the Parlor after a poor experience at The Greek place next door. We were seated, given bread, and ignored at the Greek spot. At the Parlor we were warmly greeted, food came out quickly and nice and warm, and quality of food was superb! The tri-tip sandwich, fish and chips, and hot dog we collectively ordered did not disappoint. This will be my Ventura Harbor Village food spot from now on when I want to dine with a harbor view along the strip there.

Great dining area, food was good, reasonably priced and did not charge extra for ranch dressing which is always a plus.

Way, way, way disappointed. With all the hype about this place I now know people don't know what is good food. I ordered a Pineapple Burger but on the receipt it was listed as an Aloha Burger. The burger was dry and the size was what you would buy as a frozen patty pack at Costco, Smart N Final, etc. The pineapple had zero taste. The fries were most definitely frozen. Some of the fries had an air gap inside with little content of potato. The 12 oz. cup of runny milk shake was NOT worth $6.50. Carl's Jr and even McDonald's has better milk shakes than this. The Parlor is connected with Coastal Cone so although we ordered food at The Parlor the milk shake was made at Coastal Cone (the cup had Coastal Cone on it). Two burgers, onion rings, French fries, moca blast and a milk shake was $36.95. NOT worth it. Eat elsewhere. There is Five Guys with hand made fresh burgers less than 5 miles away. There is also a Red Robbins which has excellent trendy burgers.

This place is located in a very big plaza so there's plenty of parking…read more Found this place and was glad that I found it! searched up Biscoff lattes in the area and this popped up so I gave it a try. They offer a number of drinks & coffee, and pastries as well but I ordered their Bisco latte/cookie butter latte and this did not disappoint. I've never had anything like this before I loved how rich the Biscoff flavor was and they also add some kind of a special Hawaiian milk to it which I didn't mind but I also asked for this to be made in almond milk as well with no whipped cream. The moment I took a sip it was just Rich flavors bursting in my mouth. The only problem that I had with this place is that it's not closer to me, which is in the South Bay. Hint, hint I highly recommend.

I'm starting off by saying this place gets 2 stars for the coffee and 1 star for the service I've…read morereceived. I've visited both the Ventura and the Thousand Oaks locations, and my experience has been consistent. To me, this is a high-end Dunkin' Donuts and I don't even go there. The last time I had Dunkin' was about five years ago back home in Minnesota. I don't enjoy it because it tastes more like sugar with a splash of coffee rather than actual coffee and that's exactly how I feel about this place. I honestly don't understand why it's so popular. Most of the drinks taste extremely sweet. If you're looking for a sugary treat, a cheat-day drink, or something for your birthday, then this might be your spot. But if you genuinely enjoy coffee and want something balanced and bold, this probably isn't it. The only drinks I would personally order again are the cold brew or the Maui Mocha and even then, they're still on the sweeter side. One practical note: the Ventura location often has lines out the door. I'd recommend ordering online and picking up if you decide to try it. Overall, I'd say go try it for yourself but manage your expectations if you're a true coffee lover.

This cafe is sooo beautiful- I truly feel like I'm somewhere in Europe in a large open patisserie…read more It is typically super crowded her, so if you can find seating, count yourself lucky. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

The food wasn't very good! I ordered the Spring Salad…read morepictured below Supposed to be...Spring greens, strawberries, blueberries, toasted pistachios with balsamic vinaigrette. Served with a warmed goat cheese crostini. No mention of melons it had a few slivers of strawberries. Overall taste not very good. Had my mom try it too she was unimpressed. She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

Another weekend, another coffee review…read more For this spot... I had mixed feelings. Walking in, I loved the vibe--super cozy couches where you can sit while waiting, plus tables if you want to dine in. They also had beautiful paintings displayed (I believe for sale), which made the space feel really unique and fun to look around. I started with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla oat latte. Unfortunately, it was pretty bland and lacked flavor, so I had to go back and get a side of cold foam to make it better. BUT their açaí smoothie?? SO good. Super fresh, not overly sweet--honestly perfect. I'd definitely come back just for the smoothies over the coffee. For food:* The #2 avocado toast was AMAZING. The spicy honey drizzle with fresh bacon took it to another level. The Seward sandwich was just okay--very plain (egg, ham, tomato, onion), nothing special. The breakfast burrito though... sooo good. Paired with their serrano sauce, it hit every time. I'd 100% order that again. Service-wise, they only had one girl working the front--taking orders and making drinks--and she handled it so well. Super sweet and did an amazing job. Overall, not a bad experience at all--but I'd come back for the food and smoothies, not the coffee.
