The food was outstanding, the drinks were amazing, and our waitress truly made the experience even better. The owner even came over and personally introduced himself, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm genuinely so excited to be living in Santa Paula and discovering all of these wonderful local places right in our own community. If I could rate this place a zero I would. We were celebrating my in laws 35th wedding anniversary. and they have been here many times. It was our first experience here. First we walk in and these 2 ladies didn't even greet us they said they were "clocked out". Then why be at the entrance? We then got sat in the back by the waterfall. It smelled like bad sewage. Next we were greeted by our server and never even told us about the happy hour menu, which we would've rather ordered from considering the price difference. Then It got WORSE. When our appetizers were being brought out our server crashed into another server and the shrimp cocktails broke and glass was everywhere. We still were waiting for our order taken. the food took forever. Refills were needed and we kept having to flag her down. after the cocktails fell she disappeared and a man named Manny (who's not a server) took over our table because he recognized my in laws THANK GOD. if It wasn't for manny I think we would've walked out. what made It even worse is our food started to come out and they took It to the WRONG TABLE. Our host was then being attentive to every other table except ours. So Manny took over and made sure we got our food and EVEN got us our drinks! we thanked him and told him he should be a server because he was doing such a great job. We most likely won't go back. At last, I have had an opportunity to pop into this restaurant that has now been open for about 1.5 years. I have heard great reviews of this restaurant, so it was time to check it out in person. Unfortunately, as it was late when I arrived, I only settled in for some drinks at the bar. Our bartender Dillon warmly greeted us at the bar. Dillon provided us with great information on the restaurant, and his favorite drinks and food items. The restaurant offers a lot of choices- they have a special drink menu for brunch, as well as a brunch, lunch and dinner menu food items. Plus, a menu for drinking throughout opening time. There is something for everyone on the menus- that include a selection of salads, seafood and meats. Plus, an array of appetizers, and more. We settled down for a couple of drinks- With the recommendation of the bartender's top drink choices- I choose to get a lemon drop. The lemon drop was a perfect ending to my night. Great for a warm night. Dillon, the bartender, also suggested a spritz and margarita. I will be back for a bloody Mary with stuffed olives, but maybe for brunch. On the brunch menu, I am looking forward to trying an eggs benedict with my drink. As for ambiance- Parque 1055 is a great space. The restaurant has an event space- on the night we were visting they were doing painting. In the middle of the room there is a large bar- with seating all the way around that offers happy hour throughout the weekdays. Inside their is seating along the wall and a host of tables throughout for small and large parties. The outside patio space is great- lots of seating, which is great for cooler nights. Lastly, the indoor space connects to the outdoor space with the garage doors- always nice to get fresh air. Happy one year anniversary! It was so great to stop by and see a packed house. I loved the DJ and my lemon drop was perfect. Crafted Cocktails were only $15. I really wanted to try the horchata cocktail but it was sold out . Yay .. so happy it's doing great as it just dropped on their menu. 10/10!!! I saw on IG that Parque would be hosting a R&B Brunch so I rounded up the family and made a reservation. We sat outside on the spacious patio. They have heat lamps, and plenty of seating. Although we ordered tons of things, I can only speak on the charcuterie (main character) and the chorizo omelette. The charcuterie met my expectations, cheese was fresh, and there was plenty to share. The omelette had just the right amount of spice from the chorizo and was very filling. Stopped in Sunday around 5pm and had a wonderful evening, with a surprise happy hour menu (7 days a week 3pm-6pm!). We ordered: Sand dabs - can't go wrong with fried fish and French fries Shrimp scampi over risotto - HUGE shrimp, my bf inhaled this dish Short rib share - bite sized, tender, short rib served over a celery root puree with pomegranate and micro greens. The celery root puree was an unexpected highlight Side mashed potatoes - garlicky buttery with chives Crème brûlée - a classic! Creamy custard with an irresistible sugar top and tart berry side The restaurant is elegant, with booth seating, a nice bar area, brick walls, and polished concrete floor! This was my first time at Paraue 1055. They did a wonderful job of converting an old warehouse into a a very comfortable and inviting restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors. The drink menu is unique and we enjoyed a Lemon drop martini, a Smoked old fashioned, and a Flight of martini's. The Old Fashioned was especially good and was made perfectly. We went for dinner and I ordered the Beef deep. Even though it's not on the dinner menu, they were kind enough to make it for me. It was fantastic! We also had the Flatbread pizza which was equally good. The service was outstanding and couldn't have been any better. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

My wife and I came here for a date night, and it couldn't have been a better choice. It was a beautiful summer evening, so we sat outside on the huge patio, which has an incredible atmosphere. The World Cup match was on, there was a beautiful fountain creating a relaxing ambiance, and the whole place has a really cool vibe. The building itself is unique. It's an old automotive repair shop that's been transformed into a beautiful restaurant, with what was once the parking lot now serving as a massive outdoor dining patio. It's a great blend of history and modern design. We came during happy hour, which was a great value. My wife enjoyed a glass of wine, I had a beer, and both were discounted. We shared the surf and turf (ahi and filet), which was excellent, along with the flatbread pizza. The clam chowder was one of the highlights--a huge bowl loaded with real clams. We finished the evening with fried ice cream and an espresso, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The service was outstanding. Every person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I loved the intimate feel of the wine room and how vibrant and lively the main dining room was. I am so happy we finally made it to Parque 1055 as this restaurant had been on my list for a while now. Located in downtown Santa Paula, this restaurant was much needed for the area and I am so happy to read and see how well received they have been. This is definitely the IT restaurant on this side of town and I love that they honor and preserve the history of what came before, respecting the automotive industry that was and paying tribute to the community of SP. My friend and I came for dinner on a Monday night and the vibes were definitely lowkey and relaxed. Not their busiest of nights which we were grateful as that allowed us to chat more with the staff and even get a tour of their private back party room and grounds. The staff here are insanely hospitable and lovely. Every person we interacted with was super kind, professional and just all around lovely. They have the best team here and deliver A+ customer service. Shoutout to Robert who was our server and he didn't miss a beat! He gave thoughtful recommendations and was fun to chat with. We love people with a good sense of humor and who can make a girls night dining experience fun. Another one of our new besties is Heather the Manager-Boss Lady-Baddie, she's amazing! She's uber passionate about this business and we loved hearing her talk about how they have paid homage to the city and also of all of their fun events and ideas to come. The team here is truly some of the best and the customer service is unmatched. My other friends who have dined here have told me the same thing so it's nice to know they're consistent. Another reason for the five stars is that the restaurant is simply beautiful. We loved the indoor space and bar. Very nicely done. The real showstopper however is their outdoor patio and garden space. The waterfall backdrop effect is a 10/10. This is the PERFECT place for a celebration and party. I can't wait to come back this summer as they'll have live music and are bringing all of the vibes. Such a cool place. Outdoor seating is a must. The food and drinks left us happy. Full transparency they are more at a 4/5 but with some work I know I'll be able to come back and give them a 5/5. We appreciated that based on our feedback there are some dishes they may tweak to make them more palatable to the larger audience. I was super impressed with their menu and there are a lot of bites I really want to come back for, like their clam chowder. That's high on my list. For the dishes I did like their fried artichoke appetizer was really delicious and generous portions! I'm a sucker for a good sauce and their lemon aioli like dipping sauce was perfection with the fried app. Also their special crudo fish plate was stunning. It's a special but maybe they'll consider as a more regular dish on their menu? I'm definitely coming back for their extensive and fun cocktail menu. They are known for their martinis so I'm making my way back for one or three hahaha. However, since I've been participating in a "dry" May, I was super thankful they had a cute mocktail menu that felt thoughtful and unique. I opted for their zero proof margarita and it was fabulous. I would definitely get this again and appreciate that they made the mocktail feel fun and easily passed in presentation for a nice marg. Great drinks here. Parque has definitely stolen my heart. My husband and I were staying at the Santa Paula Inn, and within walking distance we found Parque 1055, a farm‑to‑table restaurant that had recently been remodeled. The space looks terrific -- modern, fresh, and very inviting. We started with the artichoke hearts appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, which paired perfectly with the meal. For dinner, I ordered a simple burger with lemon‑dressed salad, and my husband chose the seafood pasta gumbo. Both dishes were excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. We couldn't skip dessert, so we shared the key lime pie, and it was the perfect finish. Everything we tried was tasty, well‑prepared, and beautifully presented. Parque 1055 is Santa Paula's latest fine dining experience. And from my 2 visits (Happy Hour & dinner), it is fine and a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is brand new and offers a choice of indoor or outdoor tables. There's a nice bar area inside, with lots of space, plenty of tables and booths. The outdoor dining patio is also spacious and well decorated. My wife loves the water wall on the east side of the patio. The menu is interesting and offers a good selection. Many of the Happy Hour options are also available for Dinner. Happy Hour (3-6pm daily? weekdays?) Knocks $3-4 off the dinner prices, so come early, and stay late! Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive...but mostly young and learning the menu, venue, and trade! I'll look forward to helping educate them, 'cause I'll definitely be back! read more

Horrible dining experience on a Saturday Night. Was excited to have a dinner with all my girls that were home from college. Restaurant was not busy at the time we arrived, approximately 8pm. Fried artichoke was really good but everything else was below average to unacceptable. I ordered the flat Iron Steak and it came dry and burnt after I ordered it medium. This was after a long wait to receive our main courses. I had two small pieces and was promptly turned off and notified the staff. Waiter offered to make it again or provide something else but I did not trust anything else coming out of the kitchen on this night. What has me appalled is they made sure to tell me that they wouldn't charge for the plate that I barely touched. I appreciate that favor as my night was ruined. What was worse is that our server disappeared from that time on. We had to ask the host for our bill. Keep in mind there was only one other table by this time. Our server finally brought our bill, never offered dessert, nor apologized for being missing in action for at least a half hour. Having worked in a restaurant before, it pained me to leave a tip less than 20 percent, but I had no choice. They need to make changes fast as there were multiple problems across the board for a non-busy Saturday night. read more

I had Parque 1055 on my radar for a while, and I finally made the trip out to Santa Paula. I happened to be in the area and knew I needed to check this place out. Let me just say... WORTH IT. The space is such a vibe, with plenty of open indoor seating and a lovely outdoor patio. I definitely have to sit out there next time. A friend and I came in during happy hour and had such a great experience, largely thanks to our amazing server, David. He was incredibly attentive, fun to talk to, and made us feel so welcomed from start to finish. He gave us thoughtful recommendations, checked in at all the right times, and took our experience from a 10 to an 11. Thank you, David! Recently had the chance to come try Parque 1055. I live in the area so wanted to come and support. This place has plenty of seating. They have a cute outdoor area which I can't wait to go back too and sit there. They have a private parking lot and there's also street parking which is really nice. I went during their Happy Hour. I got something from their happy hour menu and normal menu. I tried their Baja Avocado Taco which was really good. Really liked the flavors they choose for this taco. I also got their California Stuffed Avocado. At first I wasn't sure what to think of it. Towards the end I realized if you mix everything with the sauce and enjoy it, it's way better. Hahaha. I do enjoy a good cocktail. I got their Barrel Aged Old Fashioned. Very good and it was strong which I am not complaining. Service was really good from the host to the server who helped us. It's a real struggle to get another round of drinks after your first one at this bar. Maybe it's because we're not locals that they know? We've been in a few times now, and we want to like the place, but the service is lacking. Edited to add context - we sat for a good 15-20 minutes with empty plates and glasses before finally getting follow-up from the bartender but by then we just wanted to leave and asked for our check. It wasn't busy, we watched other customers getting follow-up service right next to us while we were ignored. We've both worked in restaurants, we go out regularly, we're not fussy or demanding - we understand how the business works and what it's like when you're slammed - that wasn't the case. It was pretty quiet in there, a Friday afternoon with a few other customers, there wasn't a rush, but there were several employees around the bar area, which seems to be the norm, which is fine, but you might think that one of them would notice the people with the empty plates and glasses and do something about it. And the same thing happened the last time we were in, with the same bartender, but we thought maybe it was an off day, so we gave him a pass - it happens. But now it's happened again, and this time it was worse - last time we waited but not as long and eventually got another round. This time? It seems like a pattern. And it's not just on the one bartender - plenty of other staff was around, including the owner who went behind the bar to make a drink, and the marketing person who stopped to visit with the people next to us. It would have been nice if one of them noticed our empty dishes and either asked if we needed anything or reminded the bartender that we were there. We felt invisible. We were in restaurant purgatory. I wasn't even sure how we were going to get our check. I literally said to my husband that we could walk out and they wouldn't even notice (we would never but it's probably true). It was weird. We likely won't be back, but please try to do better on the follow-up with others, we just wanted another round. read more

Parque 1055 is a destination restaurant in Santa Paula. It's worth the drive to experience a beautiful setting (with outside seating and a glorious waterfall). The service is wonderful and the menu is brilliant. Something for everyone. The food is EXCELLENT! (You must try the brussel sprouts; the best I've ever had!) Serving are huge so bring your appetite I ordered a burger that I could tell was made from Prime beef. I know because the owner, Bob, came to to our table to to check on us and I asked him. Was excited to come try this restaurant, i drove all the way from Santa Barbara. The food took over 30 mins to make had to go ask when out food was ready . Not to mention it was just two salads and flat bread. Wasnt in a rush but I was visiting my gf for her lunch got to the restaurant at 1205 ordered at 1215 and didn't get our food til 1245 . Her Asian salad cabbage looked old and dry Only great thing was the bartender that helped us out when I mentioned food timing and he helped us right away server was no where to be foundI was disappointed,my girlfriend didn't even get to enjoy her lunch break . I found this place to be just ok. Our server was definitely the highlight! I believe her name was Jasmine. My friend and I came here for my birthday. I had the sliders and mac n cheese and she ordered a flatbread and fries. The sliders and fries were good. The flatbread and mac were not so great. My friend felt the combo with the flatbread just didn't work, so I tried a little and I agree. It didn't work. And The Mac needed more substance. I am used to homemade Mac with four diff types of cheeses and I do feel the Mac here was too one-note. The prices are a little high for what u get. The ambiance and decor were nice. I went here during their 2nd Saturday. While there were some misses, I will not include them in this review because they are so new, and I'm sure all of the misses I experienced would be non-existent soon enough! Overall, they have nailed the things that are most important to me - friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and well priced. Staff: very welcoming and friendly. Our server Lexi was very sweet and attentive. Vibe: there are 2 sections to the restaurant. The main portion is bright, casual, loud and nautical, like Lure and Yard House had a baby. We were originally seated right under one of the TV /Speakers, so it was wayyyyy too loud for us. We asked to be moved somewhere quieter. The hostess was able to move us to the back section of the restaurant, which has a totally different vibe. I took it as a "reserved for a large group" area / overflow, plus 2 more tables for 2. This seems to be where the kitchen was. This section is much dimmer, quieter, and less dressy. Drinks: fantastic. You really get bang for your buck. Sunday drive was refreshing, and the old fashioned was good too Food: Western mussels - really fresh and delicious. Another great bang for your buck Mini surf & turf: my favorite dish of the night. The steak was masterfully done and 1 bite alone let me know that I need to order the steak next time. Perfectly cooked and sooooooo delicious!! Everything on this plate was fantastic. The ahi tuna basically melts in your mouth, and the cucumber slices were a nice touch of freshness. Local citrus salad: this was good but not my favorite. I'm sure this would be a hit for someone who loves grapefruit- not just likes it but loves it. The salad was a guilt -free but I think it needed something to balance the acidity of the grapefruit. I added grilled chicken to mine. The chicken was really good and moist, however for the price, I would've appreciated if it was pre-sliced. Overall a really beautiful salad and great option if you're watching your weight. Tasted very fresh and lettuce was crisp (which I really appreciated, I hate a soggy salad!). Fried chicken sammie: chicken itself was good. Bread and fries needed work. We didn't order dessert since we were craving something chocolatey. Overall a solid location that I hope is here to stay! This rating is not a reflection of the hostess or our waitress, whose name I forget. They were both very sweet and apologetic about the times it took for both our drinks and food. We went on a nearly completely empty weekday during happy hour and ordered drinks and bread. It was just us and maybe 2 parties outside, and about 4 or 5 people at the bar. The space is HUGE and we were the only table sat inside. Our bread arrived after about 15 minutes after ordering and our drinks after that (?!) because the bartender was busy chatting and laughing with a couple people at the bar. Our waitress said the bartender was busy with another client but I could literally see he just plainly forgot to make them and prioritized the guests at the bar - but he was just laughing with them and not even making other drinks. We ordered fries and 2 tacos each, and the tacos arrived first without the fries...never heard of a kitchen being unable to time plates together but okay. We also waited close to 30 minutes after ordering. We were the only ones seated inside so it was just kind of insane to me the kitchen took that long, and even then we didn't get our fries with it. In total we were there about an hour and it was just two of us. We had to ask for our fries to go, and then when I got home, it was missing the sauce. I also saw a waitress bringing an alcoholic drink outside, wearing heels and she stumbled over her feet and dropped like half the drink and just said "Oh sh*t!" And proceeded to bring the drink outside, instead of remaking it, so the guest didn't even get the amount of drink they were paying for. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place unless you plan on sitting at the bar or are okay with it being a bit of a mess. read more

We had dinner there on Father's Day. By the time we arrived they had already served about 400 meals. Heather, their marketing manager and a jewel, was there helping out, got us seated and served drinks quickly. Food service bogged down a bit but Bob, the owner, was very attentive, kind and brought everything up to speed and then some, hence 5 stars. And the food... stellar! Portions are generous and beautifully plated. We (between the four of us) had branzino, the mini seafood appetizer which was anything but mini. Also the artichoke appetizer and sand dabs. A food runner brought out our food and our order was wrong. We waited and waited for Jasmine to let her know. I finally had to go tell the hostess that the order was wrong, to ask for more coffee, more cream, and for salt for the table. By the time the salt came, my husband's breakfast was cold. My corrected food order was brought out to me by the food runner who ended up filling up our coffee and bringing the cream. Jasmine came to the table and said sorry for the mixup and we never saw her again. She only had one more table other than ours. The hostess brought the bill and processed the payment. Poor service from Jasmine. People came in and were waiting to be seated and no one was out front to seat them for almost 15 minutes. Very disappointing. read more

Just discovered this place yesterday. I was impressed with the varied menu, thoughtful presentation, and excellent preparation. I enjoyed everything I tried - Seafood Trio, and a couple of the flatbreads. My wife liked the clam chowder ("there are actually CLAMS in it!" lol). Came in on a random Monday to check it out. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. Hostess was very friendly and gave us a tour. We chose our seats and were able to take advantage of lunch as well as happy hour. Salt & Pepper Calamari: I love calamari but this one didn't do much for me. There wasn't much flavor and I had to lean too heavily on the sauces to get some kind of oomph or kick. 5/10. California Stuffed Avocado: Ordered because it's not something common I've seen on menus. I really enjoyed this one! My only critique would be because it was placed on top of the ponzu, the sodium absorption was strong. If the ponzu were offered on the side I could control the sodium intake better. And I love salty foods! But the dish was kind of soaked in it so it kind of took away from something really amazing. Still, 8.5/10 Mini Surf & Turf: By far, the least favorite. The filet was incredibly chewy, so much that I couldn't even swallow much of it. The ahi was okay but I was so turned off by the filet I had to send it back. Server and manager were very accommodating. I changed my order to the 1055 wings. Which took a long time to get, so the server brought us soup and offered a dessert on the house. 2/10 for surf and turf Braised short rib sliders: One of my faves. Juicy and flavorful. Really hit the spot! We added some garlic aioli for our tastes which really set it off for us. 9/10. 1055 wings: The sweet and savory of the sriracha honey sauce was right up my alley. I enjoyed these but was getting full from avocado and sliders and trying to save room for dessert so only had 1 wing. 7/10. Loco fried ice cream: OH. EM. GEE!!!! I don't think I have the words to describe how much we enjoyed this. The ganache and caramel exterior leading you to the chocolate cake and ice cream??! Chef's kiss! So so good! 10/10 for sure. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant. While I probably won't come back because I live nowhere near the area (was just nearby on business) I still def recommend people to visit. Though I didn't love everything there's yumminess to explore. Staff was friendly and helpful. The aesthetic is really cool with different seating areas suited for whatever your vibe is. It was a work trip for me so I didn't try cocktails but they looked yummy! Go check it out! read more
