The dry rub has a mild traditional BBQ flavor. The wings were really coated in dry rub. I don't think there was a speck of skin showing through. At times I felt like I was eating more dry rub than chicken. The rub comes off very salty - which I liked. It didn't have an after taste burn - which I also liked. The BBQ was pleasant and flavorful to taste. The volume of rub was just a bit overwhelming - at least to me.
