Walking in around 11 I was kindly met by a woman telling taking my name and saying there might be a 5 minute wait. Waited five minutes and got a very nice booth with my friend. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Everyone seemed to be dressed in a cute theme. The orange juice is to die for. The bacon as I was told by my friend is the best bacon they've had in their life. My eggs Benedict had Canadian bacon that was generously cut thick, I don't eat meat and I forgot to say that so I just picked them off. The hollandaise sauce was very good and the so were the potato pancakes. I was hesitant but was recommended sour cream by the waitress for the potato pancakes, so good. The mimosa was a tad tart for my liking, and the coffee was delightful There is beautiful stained glass everywhere, and cute vintage things all over the walls. The bathroom was clean. Loved everything about this restaurant! We were in town to visit the Olympic Game Farm, and after some recommendations from friends, decided to eat here. We loved the ambiance which had a very Bohemian vibe and reminded us a lot of a restaurant we would eat at during our visits to Boleslawiec, Poland. We dined here for the much hyped breakfast twice and were surprised that it beat the hype. I've been to so many old cottage family owned bed/breakfast type places all over, and this takes the center mantle spot until I run into a better place. The service is very good. They staff coffee and water refill personnel. The food and drink are so exceptional. I tried the buttermilk and chocolate chip pancakes, biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, and hot chocolate. My wife tried a bacon and cheese omelette, the bacon, an English muffin, 49er flapjacks, and coffee. Both pancakes are in the running for best ever in my experience-rich and fluffy with the whipped butter (Ghirardelli chocolate chips)-the syrup they use is thin with a mild delicious flavor. Biscuits were light and fluffy and the sausage gravy (which I never like much) was creamy and not too salty. Eggs were velvety and perfectly cooked. Sausage patties are tied with some I had back in Arkansas as the best I've ever had. The hot chocolate is quite an experience. Comes in an ice cream sundae large cup with a straw and LOTS of fresh whipped cream. Very rich chocolate that makes you want to take it out into frozen tundra and make a pilgrimage. My wife loved her gigantic football shaped omelette-they soufflé their egg containing dishes to give light and airy texture to each dish to great effect. She really enjoyed the simple toasted English muffin with homemade berry jam. The 49er flapjacks are almost crepe thin that my wife rolled into burritos and hit with a little syrup before devouring. The coffee was so good, we went the shop that supplies it and bought a large bag to take home. The only complaint (and it's so minor that it does not really factor for me) was they overcook their bacon strips. Half the strip is basically powder. Parking is available in the private lot or nearby in the residential streets. He's more savory and I'm more sweet, so we decided to go with the: - Fruit Blintzes with Strawberry - Looking at other photos, it seemed like the blintzes are a crowd favorite. Crepes stuffed with ricotta cheese, I was expecting the blintzes to be cloyingly sweet. Surprisingly though, the ricotta cheese actually cuts down on the sweetness and pairs nicely with a cup of black coffee. :) - Eggs Nicole with a Side of Bacon - This dish closely reminded me of a eggs benedict, subbing the English muffin with a croissant. The croissant is topped decadently with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, spinach and onions. The potato pancakes on the side were also unique! We tried them with sour cream and apple sauce, which surprisingly worked. :O Great portions at great prices, we both left full and satisfied. This is a family operated restaurant. The place is clean and is a great place to eat. The server was very helpful in helping us choose our breakfast. We had their Apple pancake and mushroom omelette. Everything freshly baked and made. My only regret is that I wish we had more time in Sequim WA so I could taste everything on the menu. That is how great tasting their food is. Will definitely come back here. And by the way, come hungry as their servings are more than enough for one person. First time here today. We came here due to the great reviews. Seriously the best breakfast place we've been to! The freshly baked Apple pancake was amazing. I've never had this kind of pancake. So unique and fresh. It was filled with fresh apples! It was huge that It can definitely be shared with 3-4 people. The mushroom omelette with beschamel sauce was so good as well. It is also currently the #1 rated restaurant in Sequim WA on TripAdvisor. Our family enjoyed a hearty breakfast comprising of Eggs Nicole, Thick-cut bacon strips, Potato Pancakes and Apple Pancake. We needed to keep our energy up for a long day of hiking and treks at Olympic National Park and coastal driving through the Olympic Peninsula. Apple Pancake: Oven baked like a souffle until the pancake is at least 3 inches high, it is filled with fresh apples and glazed with pure cinnamon. This is the house specialty and definitely not to be missed. Eggs Nicole: Sautéed, fresh mushrooms, spinach and onions with scrambled eggs and Swiss cheese on an open face croissant, finished off with Hollandaise sauce. Order the Thick-cut bacon too if you are a carnivore. Best bacon I have ever had anywhere! All portions are gigantic and good for sharing. The Apple Pancake can feed 4 people! We still had leftovers packed after. Interior is very homey and comfortable, like visiting grannie's cottage out in the woods. I don't usually expect to have a good culinary experience during my National Park trips, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this spot so highly rated. I totally agree with all the reviews. I got my meals to go for efficiency since I wanted to go on early morning hikes and wanted a quick breakfast experience. I called ahead and placed my orders so that when I got there, I simply had to pick up and pay. The staff were so friendly and efficient in all steps of this process. I could imagine a very pleasant dine-in experience if I had gone down that route. Now for the highlight: the food! I really enjoyed the expansive menu. Most egg dishes came with 3 pancakes, which I appreciated. I like having a mix of savory and sweet. I do have to say your mileage will vary depending on what you get. I got the bacon and swiss omelette one day and then an eggs Casey the other day. The eggs Casey was amazing; the mushroom sauce added such a wonderful flavor and the eggs were fluffy and super well done. The omelette was pretty good but wasn't necessarily the best I've had before. Parts of the omelette were a bit overcooked and dry (maybe to my taste?). Both dishes came with pancakes, which were delicious. Once again not the best I've had but super solid and a great addition to the egg dishes. We shared a blueberry pancake. Fluffy and moist it was. The service was nice and courteous. I think for an area like Port Angeles, this is as good as it gets for brunch. We enjoyed it a lot. Visiting from NY and chose the Oak Table Cafe for breakfast. The food was outstanding, as was the service. We each had an egg dish with a side of buckwheat pancakes. We also ordered a side of bacon. Everything, including the coffee, was very fresh and made perfectly. The gentleman who assisted us was knowledgeable and helpful, both with menu selections and tips about the local area.
