To start, the restaurant was clean and busy with customers. Bathrooms were single use and clean. But the food was mid and service time horrendous. We ordered at the counter, as you do, 2 kids cheeseburgers, a smash burger, and a BLT (they came with fries). We sat on their miniature patio to wait. It took more than 30 minutes for 3/4 of our order to come out, and the last item was another ten minutes later. That last item, the BLT, which is literally toast and bacon, not a time intensive prep! We were told they were waiting on fries to cook (a four minute process anywhere else!) We were just passing through for a visit to the National Park. Maybe that is how they keep going, with customers who will never come back. We wouldn't. read more

Who knew there was a tasty breakfast spot?! As soon as you walk in, it's bright with some plants and plenty of tables and chairs. We stopped by here on the way to Neah Bay. My bf was enticed by the breakfast burrito (ngl, this was probably one of the BEST breakfast burritos we've ever had!) it's not the standard breakfast burrito...no...it has crispy hashbrowns like really crisp, followed by some outstanding flavors! We only wished the breakfast burrito was a tad bit bigger but wow, it was so delicious! I had their special: the fried chicken sando! That was a messy yet scrumptious sando! The fried chicken was perfect and crisp, the sando overall was nicely stacked. A little too much iceberg lettuce for my taste but I really loved the sliced pickles and not to mentioned, their well-seasoned 4 ingredient fries!!! That seasoning used which we were guessing was crisp chili flakes with salt and pepper and maybe something else that we weren't too sure of, we thought paprika but it wasn't spicy and they were phenomenal! (Their seasoning is a secret...we couldn't get them to spill!) The gal that rang us up was super nice! They have sodas etc for $3 etc and free ice water prepared. They even have a little kitchen set where kids can play and pretend to cook, so cute! Now we know a place for breakfast and we will come back some day again! read more

Lets start off with this was an impromptu visit i just wanted bisquettes and gravy and left with such an amazing and satisfying experience! You walk in to an open space with white walls and green plants everywhere with music playing. You are greeted when you walk in and order at the counter they have beverages in the fridge a ton to choose from. Food came out fast and was definitely devoured. Bathrooms are very clean as well keep after they even have. A baby changing table in the woman's bathroom. Some toys up front to keep kids busy as well. Graysons was selected by the office I hosted lunch for, online ordering was not available but in person ordering was just as efficient and highly personalized. Customer service and overall customer experience was excellent! I can really tell by the many small details (cozy waiting area, cleanliness of the entire restaurant, local coffee carafe, beverage assortment, etc) throughout the restaurant that the owners care about the overall customer experience while dining at Graysons. The food was spectacular! I rarely almost never eat while working, but I could not pass on a grilled pesto sandwich (it was fantastic!) I came here very hungry after a morning of hiking at Hurricane Ridge. This was one of the best breakfasts I've had at a restaurant. The OG breakfast burrito was OUTSTANDING. Perfect ratios of ingredients and delicious sauce. Not dry as some breakfast burritos tend to be. The side of bacon was also delicious. It was busy, clearly popular with locals. There were only two employees, one in the front and one in the back. Despite that, these two were working fast and service was great. Super friendly and helpful, and overall just had a wonderful cozy vibe in the restaurant. I would 100% come back here my next time in PA. Special note, there was some kind of spicy aioli added so if you're not into HEAT (like me!), then ask for it to not be added. Even though I avoid spice, the flavor was so yummy that I ate it anyway - and chased it up with orange-pineapple juice to soothe my senses! Great choice. BEST breakfast burrito I've had in WA! A vegetarian burrito with avocado aioli is only $11, and we deeply appreciated that this business took off cost for removing meat (at most places we still pay $2-4 for the price of meat even after taking it off). I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Saw Grayson's on a Tik Tok and had to try it. Kid friendly! We were taking the ferry to Victoria, so stopped by beforehand. We got there around 1130am on Friday after Thanksgiving, restaurant was a little crowded, there was a big party of about 12-14 people, perhaps Grayson's family? And then a couple other small parties also seated. It's a walk up/counter order place. We ordered the Smash Burger (which comes with fries, even though it doesn't say on menu) and Tacos. I'd say the food was 4 stars, good but not amazing. The seasoned fries were probably my favorite part. The customer service is 5 stars, from the gentleman who took our order and brought our food, to the woman who brought the carseat holder. A bonus was the play kitchen for little kids. I have an almost 3 year old and she loved it and we got to enjoy a few minutes and peace and quiet while she played. I also appreciate a restaurant with a changing table, which they had in the women's restroom. If you're looking for a solid food spot, with great service pay Grayson's a visit. Thanks! read more

Stopped by on drizzly Wednesday looking for a late breakfast spot and this place serves breakfast and lunch! The breakfast sandwich was exquisite- probably the best I've tried. This was the worst stop we made on a recent family road trip up into Washington and British Columbia. We had to wait over 40 minutes for grilled cheese sandwiches. I was wasn't very hungry so wanted a smaller portion, but they insisted on charging me for the adult one - the difference is minuscule as you can see in the pictures, other than more than DOUBLING the price. They have a sign up that advises guests to be courteous and wait to stake out tables until after they've ordered. We did this, then turned around to find the tables, which had been emptying out while we waited in line, all taken again. Also the owners wife appeared to be taking a table with their two cute little kids because she hopped up, cleaned a table off and brought menus to one group of people who did not follow their posted ordering rules. We wound up standing around awkwardly for about 5 minutes or so until another table left, then swooping like vultures. There was only 1 free chair though - so 3 of us crowded around a tiny bistro table on the booth side, while I took the chair. It made for a really frustrating dining experience. Also the dining room is very empty and echo-y; and they have those awful metal chairs which hurt my back after an hour sitting in it. The food itself was very mediocre. The grilled cheeses were smashed in fried cheese on the outside, which we all just picked off - it was way too much cheese. Fries were mediocre and not cooked enough. The Kirkland Signature applesauce my daughter got was fine, though. I would never come here again, and would advise other Yelpers to go someplace else. Not sure why it has such great reviews. A positive I can share: the women's bathroom has a changing table complete with free diapers, which is awesome. Sadly, no changing table in the men's room. Sorry, Dads. read more

Loved the Pesto w/ Bacon that I ordered - it comes with cheddar, swiss, slab bacon, tomato, avocado and basil pesto aioli on an asiago crusted Texas toast, with fries. This used to be our go-to eatery when we were traveling through Port Angeles. However, their menu has since changed to offer a fairly extensive breakfast menu instead of sandwiches. Since we didn't know this, we went for lunch and this review will be focused on the lunch options. They now have 4 items on the lunch menu: chicken tacos, pesto melt, BLT, and smash burgers. We ordered smash burgers and the pesto melt. The pesto melt was not good. The avocado was old and the tomato was just bad, so the combination was a disappointment. The smash burgers were ok, but far too greasy. Personally, I feel like smash burgers are too trendy and establishments don't know that you need to burn off the grease and scrape the grill. Next time we are traveling through Port Angeles, we will be trying someplace else. read more

Grayson's definitely has the best fries around. They are a salty sweet delight! Overall, the vibes of the food is greasy and hearty. I've never had a sandwich here that wasn't huge and dripping with sauce or fat. That means it tastes good! It's always messy. I really enjoy their fish tacos. I was disappointed by their brunch offerings though. For all the flavor packed into their typical menu, the breakfast egg items are not seasoned. The breakfast burrito is half egg and missing different textural elements, like added hashbrowns. If you love a lot of scrambled egg, this will be your type! Grayson's is one of the better restaurants in Port Angeles and serves up the best burger / heavy sandwiches. Don't skip their specials. They are usually delicious! read more
