Went to lunch with my mom and her friend. Cute place, very homey and the staff was so friendly. My mom and I shared the veggie sandwich on a croissant with the waffle fries. The sandwich was super yummy (forgot to ask no Mayo) and the waffle fries had a sweet and salty thing going on with them. They were yummy too! read more

Service was great! They don't take reservations but we had a party of 8 and called ahead ~a hour before we were going to arrive and they were able to seat us when we got there. Their famous dish is the apple pancake (shown below). I would say it's more similar to a giant cinnamon roll than a pancake. It was delicious right when it arrived because it was fresh and hot. Definitely very sweet so I would suggest not getting just this for your entire meal, you'll want to share it with someone and get something else that's savory to balance it out. read more

Last breakfast in town and the Oak Table had been recommended to us by several people! It did not disappoint! Prices were a little more than I would have liked to spend on breakfast but completely worth it! I had Eggs Nicole and honestly anything with hollandaise sauce on it is going to win me over but this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! The decor of this place is relaxed and a lot of fun. The service was really good. The food was great. The only complaint was the price. It was more like NYC prices in this little Washington town. But whatever it's a great place. I got the trip which came with a garden salad, soup of the day, and roll. I added grilled chicken which raised the price to 14.75. The salads are really large though and the potato soup was amazing. If I lived here I think I would come here from time to time only because of the price. Wow! The atmosphere and the staff exceeded our expectations; Sarah, specifically, impressed with her urgency and hospitality. We were never rushed, questions were answered with care and a smile, but every cup was full of coffee and every table through the room was well attended to. The food was exceptional. Portions are generous- we shared the Italian scramble and the eggs Casey with four people. They were both spectacular! In addition, the apple pancake is impressive to say the list. Flakey, buttery, sugary, eggy deliciousness. I wish I would have shipped one home. Coffee including espresso drinks made by Sarah our amazing server. Wow! Such a treat to discover this breakfast spot. Our waiter John was the best we've encountered. His energy and excitement about the food made us salivate. We tried several items that he recommended and each item was fantastic (Italian Omelette with blueberry pancakes, think cut bacon, and the 49'er pancake. One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. All I can say is WOW. Their pancakes are delicious, fluffy and did I mention delicious? I've never had sour dough pancakes before but I've clearly been missing out. We also ordered the apple fritter pancake and that was delicious and very loaded. I would order one to share with the table. Eggs benedict was on point and I loved every bite of everything I ordered. The Oak Table Cafe is probably my favorite breakfast spot in Washington. We are from Vancouver and visit Sequim every now and then to see family. We stopped by this quaint little restaurant around 7:15AM and had the best time. It wasn't crowded since we came a little after opening but there was a few families already there. Immediately you notice how cute and well decorated this place is when you enter. You're greeted by the most friendly staff who are attentive and pay attention closely to your table. We got seated right away, was given ice cold water, and a warm cup of coffee. The coffee here is very tasty and the cream they provide is to perfection! I ordered the Bacon and Swiss Omelette, but with Pepper Jack rather than Swiss, which came with three pancakes. You can tell everything was made fresh and with the highest quality of ingredients. The food was very rich and we had plenty of leftovers. The silverware was clean and spotless! Refills on our water and coffee was continuous and our cups was never left empty! In summation, The Oak Table Cafe is a place I would stop by whenever I am in Sequim. It's hard to make a quality and hearty breakfast like they do. The service is beyond outstanding and the food is something you can only dream about. I look forward to the next time I'm in town just for this place. read more

Food was delicious! First time to this restaurant. A small wait when we arrived maybe 15 min. They have a variety of pancakes to choose from. I had the Dutch pancake. It's pretty big so you can share for us- to 4 people. It was just my husband and I so we had plenty of left overs. He had and omelet and it was very tasty too. On the side we ordered bacon and eggs. Don't be put off by the early 80s decor, this restaurant is a gem and kept very clean for guests. We hit this spot up for brunch, as it was highly recommended by our hotel, and weren't disappointed in the least. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was spot on. My scramble wasn't at all heavy or greasy and the homemade marionberry preserves for my toast were delish. Despite the social distancing that was being enforced, as well as near constant cleaning, I knocked a star off because the hostess let wayyyyyyy too many people hang out in the front area while waiting for tables. (We had about a ten minute wait and I counted 14 people in a relatively small area for the duration of that time.) read more

You can tell by their near perfect stars that the locals really love this place. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Service was prompt and attentive throughout our entire visit. You know what's better than a big plate of pancakes? 2 plates of pancakes! I enjoyed my experience in Oak table so much that I decided to try out their original location the next day. Frankly speaking I just could not leave this area without tasting their 49er pancakes again. Compared to the Silverdale location, this location is less fancy. However, the food was just as good as the other location and definitely worth an hour round trip! Since I was going to go hiking again I ordered a big brunch: German pancake and an order of 49er pancakes. Since the German pancake takes 20 minutes to cook I had them bring the 49 of pancakes to enjoy while I waited for the big one. The service here was fantastic like the silverdale location. My waiter brought me complementary lingonberry jam to eat with my 49er pancakes. It tasted sweet and tangy, and served as a nice palate cleanser. It comes in a 3 pancake stack, but eating each pancake separately tasted better. Thicker bite lessened the it's creaminess. After trying many different pancakes available at oak table, I can confidently say that 49er pancakes are the best pancakes at oak table. It's almost a cross between crêpe and pancakes. Very thin due to lack of leavening agent. But, it is so creamy, buttery, and eggy, almost custardy. It is perfectly seasoned w salt and sugar and to top it off, and cooked with peanut oil, the top of the pancake is so incredibly crispy. I never had such wonderful combination of texture on a pancake. The German pancake tasted just like a Chinese or Portuguese egg tart minus the buttery flaky pie crust and like 50 times bigger. Eaten with powdered sugar and lemon, sweet eggy richness of the pancake was balanced out nicely with lemon. It did get tiring after awhile, so it's better shared. It was the perfect meal to start off my hiking adventure to conquer mount storm king at Olympic National Park. read more

Ambiance is lovely! But it is a very popular and busy place so there is often a long wait and it gets noisy. Food quality fluctuates which is not a good thing when it is pricey. I stopped here on my way to Olympic National Park from Seattle and it was amazing. Their hollandaise sauce was to die for. I ordered the eggs Nicole which was essentially scrambled eggs with veggies and hollandaise on an open face croissant and it was super flavorful. The helping was much larger than I could handle, but it would be an awesome pick if you were really hungry. They were also willing to substitute the potato pancakes for fruit. The staff was friendly, we had less than ten mins wait time and the ambience had an old world charm... all in all a great experience! Tip: The credit card machine wasn't working when we went so best to have some cash handy so you don't miss the experience of dining here if you happen to be in this area. read more

My wife and I are bit of breakfast snobs, we have tried breakfast all over western Washington since moving to Washington 16 years ago. Oak table in sequim (and it's companion in silverdale) are it. The best. I have reviewed the silverdale location before but I am motivated to leave a new review because of recent experiences. I was in Edmonds last week and had blueberry pancakes from a place that has "pancake" right in the title :). Bland, tasteless compared to oak table. I also have seen other good restaurants struggling to provide the high level of food and service amidst the current supply chain and employment challenges. The food and service quality at oak table HAS NEVER VARIED. We eat there 1-2 times a week for over a year (at the sequim location) and years at the silverdale location. Never been to a restaurant that has such high quality food and delivers that consistently. In fact the sequim location went through periods where they cut hours and days open. I believe this allowed them to keep the quality up when they were open. As a consumer I would much rather they do then have good days and "off days". Oak table is a treasure to sequim and silverdale. read more
