The Chicken Piccata was fantastic!! I have been to The Napoli's in Ogunquit, ME

Friendly staff and the owner is super nice!!! He makes you feel like family and greets everyone with a smile. The food is phenomenal!! I have eaten here several times and was NEVER disappointed. On this particular evening, I got the fried haddock special. It wasn't greasy at all and the coating was light and crispy!!!! Thank you Charlie!!!

The food was average, the burger was a frozen patty the only taste to the burger was the toppings. The pizza wasn't bad, just average.

The wood fired wings are delicious and my daughter loves the Sweet Teriyaki Bowl with tofu, and a variety of vegetables including brussels sprouts & pea shoots. My favorite thing to order at Brickyard is the Blueberry Pizza, which a lovingly call "Pizza of the Gods". I've been ordering this pizza every time we visit, and I hope they never take it off the menu. Pizza of the Gods includes wild Maine Blueberries, lemon, rosemary, and shallots, and beautiful dollops of ricotta topping a white pizza base. All I can say is give it a try - it's heavenly! Service is always good here with food arriving quickly and the atmosphere is casual. I especially like the historic photos of Ogunquit that decorate the restaurant, and when the fireplace is burning, it is a treat to warm up near it. Lastly, the drinks. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can always find something on the menu that I'll enjoy. My husband is a beer drinker and he loves it here as well. Brickyard Hollow is one of our go to restaurants in Ogunquit. It's comfortable, reasonably priced, and the food is great!

First thing though, we got seated super close to other parties even though there were open tables. The group behind us spilled water, scooted back, and literally bumped into us without even a quick "sorry" and didn't move their chair back. We ordered the sweet chili wings, but they came out oily and kind of flat on flavor. The burger at our table was decent but definitely on the dry side. The pizza was saltier than we expected, so that missed too. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries was good, the drinks were solid, and the location is great. I think next time I'll just stick with the Portland spot.

Caffé Prego is an authentic Italian restaurant and caffé that opened in Ogunquit, Maine in June…read more2006. It was founded by restaurateurs and life partners Donato Tramuto and Jeff Porter. The partners have owned, operated and sold a number of restaurants in the Ogunquit area, including Five - O and the Inn on Shore Road. Caffé Prego, named after the couple's golden retriever who died in 2005, was their second restaurant to open. Initially they only served small plates such as panini, salads, desserts, gelato and coffee. When the partners saw a great demand for authentic Italian dishes, they decided to expand the menu to include pizza, traditional Italian entrees, wine, beer and craft cocktails. In 2021, Tramuto and Porter sold the restaurant to longtime employees and executive chefs Donovan Fraser and Zach Crosby. My extended family and I visited Caffé Prego this summer while we were on a week-long vacation in Maine. After spending the afternoon exploring Ogunquit, we set out to find a place for dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation anywhere and a lot of the restaurants were packed. When we tried Caffé Prego, the staff told us that there would be a short wait but that they could accommodate us. For cocktails, I had an "Amarena Old Fashioned" (muddled Amarena cherry, orange bitters, bourbon, amaretto, soda) while my wife had a "Tuscan Sunset" (citrus vodka, blood orange liqueur, fresh lime, cranberry). For entrees, I had the "Tuscan Shrimp" (sautéed tiger shrimp, cherry tomatoes, limoncello butter sauce, basil parmesan, tagliatelle), my wife had the "Lobster Cannelloni" (Maine lobster, asparagus, ricotta, mozzarella, fresh pasta, marsala cream, shaved parmesan), our older son had the "Kids Tagliatelle with Meatballs & Marinara", and our younger son had the "Kids Tagliatelle with Butter". We all really enjoyed our food; our other family members enjoyed their dishes too! For dessert, my sons and I were in the mood for that really delicious-looking gelato that we saw in the display case. I had "Limoncello Sorbetto", my older son had "Cookies & Cream", and my younger son had "Chocolate". Between a beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, and out-of-this-world food, my whole extended family had a memorable experience at Caffé Prego! We highly recommend them to visitors to Ogunquit!

Let me start off with the staff. From the moment we were greeted, to the very attentive, (and…read morefriendly) waiter, they were all amazing and welcoming. We could not ask for more. Onto the pizzas...it is a mixed review. The toppings were excellent, plentiful, and tasty. The crust was not my favorite but my dinner companion liked it. I prefer more of a Neapolitan style crust and I believe it would complement the toppings. The crust was denser and flatter than I would hope. For drinks, another mixed review. My dinner companion had a sangria and liked it. Today, it was just an ice tea for me. It did not taste like fresh brewed tea (at least in the last few days). It was bitter. Being a cold and wet day, we ordered coffee after our lunch. It was served with milk on the side, versus cream. In fairness, the person who served it was not a wait staff member. Holding the tray she was shaking to the point that I actually grabbed it from her before she spilled it - so it could just have been her inexperience. I may give this place another shot - it was decent, just a few things that could improve as the season goes on!

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

We started with scallops wrapped in bacon and their bread service. The butter was sweetened and the bread was great. The scallops with bacon were excellent. My husband enjoyed a few vodka with cranberry and he wasn't disappointed. He chose the crab stuffed shrimp and sincerely loved it. The rice and green beans were great but he was full from the shrimp. I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.
