The best restaurant I've ever been to in PA. They had a variety of entrees, so my family and I got a bunch of different ones. We got the brisket, fried chicken, flat iron and scallops. Everything was amazing! Fried chicken was nice and crispy and tasty, flat iron was cooked perfectly and came with loaded mashed potatoes that were amazing! Brisket was a tad dry but flavor was great! The brisket and fried chicken came with green beans and Mac and cheese... both tasted so good! I'm very picky about Mac and cheese, and theirs was perfect! We also had dessert, pb & j creme brûlée, turtle cheesecake, and coconut bread pudding. All 3 were perfect! I personally don't like bread pudding, but I loved theirs!!! Overall amazing experience, server was passionate and honest. I can't wait to come back! read more

Always enjoy it and some of the best bartending in Hershey for cocktails - rivals the best at The Hotel Hershey for cocktails!!!! The one lady at the bar downstairs has a special talent for mixology!!!! Great decor and food has been well executed over the past 4-5 years. read more

I really liked this spot. It's huge and is very well maintained. We came for brunch. The menu was awesome and had some pretty unique choices.. i loved the fact that they had several different options for mimosas and bloody mary variations. I got an iced coffee with baileys cause I needed a wake me up. Our waitress was on point and very friendly. Overall great place :) P.S. Get the cheesy tatertots they are wayyyy too good. read more

This restaurant is delicious! I had their brie cheese appetizer, roasted Brussels sprouts, chicken dinner with potatoes and vegetables and the snickerdoodle creme bruelle for dessert. Everything was well prepared and so yummy!! It's has a more upscale vibe and fancier atmosphere than I expected. The inside is like a lodge with exposed wooden beams. Our waitress was very pleasant, responsive and helpful. I'd definitely recommend going here for a nice date night! read more

Excellent drink menu, fun signature cocktails. However the food is only okay but priced like fine dining. The interior is a bit odd, lighting is strange, and some of the chairs and booths are not comfortable. They seem to think they are a lot nicer than they really are. read more

We came to enjoy a celebratory dinner for my mother in law's birthday after the Hershey theatre. Excitement was cut short when we were told not once but TWICE that we needed to leave, despite the fact that we had just ordered our second round of drinks that were full on our table. If there is a time limit for tables, then they need to make guests aware of this ahead of time. Especially since our waitress had specifically suggested desserts and a second round of drinks. We will not be back to an establishment that treats well paying customers in this way. We had 2 different staff members approach our table to ask us to leave within 5 minutes of one another. We will not be recommending The Mill to any of our friends or family. Also, the table behind us was also asked to leave in the same way. read more

Great food and wonderful service! Our server went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return!

This is a really cool place. The decor is really awesome. The authentic wood beams steel couplers are great. I am having the salmon and it is fall apart delicious. Service has been absolutely wonderful. read more

Food was excellent! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was freezing in there! My boyfriend and I had to keep our jackets on the entire time. read more

First time dining - dined with the brunch menu. The decor is wonderful. Seating is not crowded - there is ample space between tables. Katy - our server - was very helpful walking us through the menu and discussing tastes and portions. The Brussel Spouts starter is a fabulous preparation - possibly the best of many great preparations I've indulged. The Shrimp and Grits was very well done for a Northern take on my all time favorite Southern meal. The 'cheesecake' dessert was okay - lighter and airy - but not real cheesecake. I'll try the bread pudding next time. If you request a table, ask for Katy - she made us feel very welcome. We'll be back for the Spring dinner menu. By the way, they had multiple Troeg's beer options, including Lollihop on draft! read more

In Hershey for business, we were hungry for lunch and found The Mill on Yelp and stopped in for a quick bite. Nice place, great décor and as I'm not big on chains this place fit the bill nicely. We started out with the poutine. Oh My.....I'm glad they don't serve poutine much down where I live since it's so wonderful. Cheese curds, fries, gravy like substance all has the making of an awesome appetizer. I had the special for lunch as suggested by the waitress. Not sure what you call it, but it was basically crab dip on toast. Didn't sound too hot when she described it but she seemed trustworthy. It was great!! Being imaginative is what makes food great IMO. Great spot for lunch. If I'm back in Hershey any time soon I'll b back! read more

This place has awesome atmosphere and charm. It's very well decorated. The service is fantastic. The server was friendly. The menu is limited but the food is mostly executed well. The salmon quinoa was spectacular. The calamari was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The oyster was fresh and tasty. The Mac and cheese as well as asparagus were both excellent as well. The brisket however. Was flavorful but very very tough. The coconut drink was delicious. The cucumber water was served in a meat bottle and glasses. Also refreshing. I wish the brisket had been better for the price. read more

Never fails to be great! Food, service, drinks, desserts - always great. They are very accommodating to special dietary preferences also. There are three levels but they have an elevator for those unable to do stairs. There is an outside area for nicer weather. I'd recommend anything on the menu. They always have creative drinks also. Service is great. Don't miss this place. read more

u and a regular menu but nothing was explained to us. We did not know we could only order one or the other. We were at the table for about an hour an a half with empty waters and drinks. We were never offered another drink or to have the water filled. When my food arrived it was not even warm. It was about room temp. Over all I was just very disappointed. Especially since we traveled 50 mins. read more

Here on a sat night for drinks and dinner. They seem busy and staff seem overwhelmed. The bartenders are juggling guests At tables, at the bar and the wait staff orders. Bad management!! As a bar guest, we feel the bartender is annoyed by us. But i think she's overwhelmed with running around. She shouldn't have to juggle so much. Hopefully the wait staff is better. read more

We reserved a table for 6 on Saturday. The ambience is very nice and the menu is interesting but expensive. Portions were small. Three people in our party ordered the brisket on the waiter's recommendation and they were quite disappointed with the thick hard piece of fat on top and the extremely chewy texture of the meat. Most of the brisket was too inedible to actually chew. When this was addressed with the waiter at the end of our meal he was not understanding. Not rude but definitely not understanding. Reading through reviews now I see the same problem with the brisket mentioned repeatedly. Not sure why The Mill continues to serve this dish without trying to maybe improve or change it up. It's important to listen to your customers! read more

The Mill is just a cool place to go for drinks & an enjoyable dinner. The menu has just enough of everything to please everyone's taste. The slow cooked brisket and chicken & waffles are very good. Would take a pass on the French onion soup. Great for groups, families and / or a business meeting. The Friendly staff completes the environment! read more

Yet another great meal. Did the first plate part of menu and phenomenal selections. . Brussels sprouts are a homer and tuna special was spruced up with light and vibrant flavors. Catalina dressing was good.... little ketchup forward but with the goat cheese phyllo brought it all together. Be back soon. #cheflife read more

We had our daughters bridal shower at The Mill on Saturday. The event was perfect!! Our event coordinator, Nicole was a pleasure to work with and her staff. She arranged everything from the our private room set up, delicious menu, impeccable service, all with a warm smile and "bubbly" personality! The food was excellent so many guests raved about the brunch and the atmosphere of the Restaurant. Many thanks to Nicole and staff for making this special event a lasting memory. First time here. Our waitress Justine helped guide me through the menu and drinks. I ordered a jalapeño margarita, which was delish. We started out with the brie appetizer. For lunch i had the white bean cake wrap, my husband ordered the Ruben sandwich and my 3 yr old got the mac n cheese. I normally dont like mac n cheese but it was full of flavor. All of the dishes were packed with flavor. Overall was happy with the food and service! read more

My husband and I were visiting family and were offered a date night. The place we were going to go to was booked and so we found The Mill in one of our searches and decided to try it because we like new places. We were greeted by the hostess who was super sweet and cheerful! Our waitress was also very sweet and kind. She helped give me a drink recommendation and it was a delicious drink! We ordered our appetizer of poutine and it was so delicious and smoky and the gravy it's seriously some of the best gravy I've eaten! Then we were given the herbed cheesy focaccia bread which is dynamite! We ordered our entrees and were so pleased and in awe of how good the food was and why no one ever told us about this place sooner! The best part was dessert, in my opinion. I got the snickerdoodle creme brûlée. Warning, you'll want more than one because it's absolutely delicious! It's the best creme brûlée that I've ever eaten and I've eaten and made a few. Overall, it was the perfect date night! Excellent service and excellent service! read more

We came here to celebrate our 45th anniversary. I had been here previously for lunch several times and enjoyed the meals very much. The decor and atmosphere are charming. I have recommended The Mill several times to friends who wanted a special dining experience. My husband is an aficionado of smoked meats, so he ordered the brisket. It was hard to cut and quite chewy and salty. He asked for a steak knife, which still didn't do the trick. In reading other reviews, I saw there were similar comments about the brisket being served in one large chunk. Perhaps having the chef properly slice it across the grain before serving would be helpful, as well as serving the sauce on the side? The sides of mac and cheese and 3 green beans were fine. I ordered the fish and chips. Fish was tasteless and the fries were neither crisp nor hot. The best part of the dinner was the cole slaw and the bread (delicious) brought out before the meal. My watermelon margarita was lovely. Our waiter was attentive and helpful and we shared our concerns with him at the end of the evening. It was disappointing to spend so much on a "special occasion" meal that didn't deliver. read more

Great food!! We were a party of six. Each of us had something different. The scallops were cooked to perfection, flavorful seared on the outside and tender on the inside. I had the coconut breadpudding , it melted in my mouth. My wife had the fried chicken, out of this world. The pb and j cream brulee was very good. Amy the server was great!! Great rustic / modern ambience. read more

I ate here once before and the salmon was amazing. However, this time I ordered the crab cakes, and it was just mediocre. I think the problem was my food was luke warm. Room temp veggies are not very appetizing. The cran-Pom mule didn't seem to contain much alcohol. My husband ordered the lamb slider, and although they were absolutely delicious, there were only two...most places offer three, and for a tall guy, he really could have used three. That aside, our server Cecilia was fantastic and the hostess who sat us was great too. So just three stars today because apparently when the head chef is on vacation, the kitchen serves luke warm food. read more

Neat place, like the ambiance of converted industrial building. Creative menu, good variety. Our waiter Jeff was fried to and knowledgeable. For starters, we really liked the deviled eggs, queso fundido, and fried mozzarella. Entree was Nashville Hot Chicken; wing was very good, breast was a little dry. Wasn't as spicy as I expected, sauce also didn't completely cover the chicken. For dessert, the jubilee cheesecake was a hit. Would definitely stop here again next time we're in Hershey. read more

We came with a large group. Due to Covid we were separated into smaller groups, inside/outside, and on multiple floors. They staff was extremely accommodating to be sure we were still all served at approximately the same time and that parents/children (older teens) were able to pay per family despite the separation. They went above and beyond! I started w service because of how wonderful they were, however the food and cocktails were amazing. Blueberry Lemonade cocktail was a table favorite. Large portions and delicious. Definitely recommend. read more

Visiting the area and read a lot of great yelp reviews so decided to try it We made a reservation and arrived 20 min early with my 2 year old in tow. The restaurant at the time had less than 50% of the tables full and the host said well we are probably going to have to stick with the reservation time.... which was crazy to me since the restaurant had so many empty tables. She ended up seating us earlier but was put off by it. Not a good way to start. Once seated the service was very good. She was very attentive refilling drinks and the food came out super fast. We had the grilled nectarine salad which was good but was hoping those peaches were warm and they were ice cold. For dinner we had the brisket and the salmon. The brisket was by far the winner and the meat fell off without using a knife. Yum! The mac n cheese was excellent too. The salmon was too fishy and would opt for another option as the menu has a lot to choose from. read more

First, The food was surprisingly (based on other reviews) below average. I got the duck and was told "the chef prefers to make it medium rare" and the server asked if that was ok, to which I agreed, but the duck came out well done and was lacking flavor too. My wife had the brisket and she liked it, but I had a few bites of hers and thought it had a fake smoke flavor which left an aftertaste on me that lasted a few hours. The portions were on the small side (we didn't get appetizers). The vibe has potential because they did a nice job restoring an old mill (didn't cut corners) but unfortunately they are a fairly pricey restaurant that was mismatched with classic druggie rock being piped, and this gave it more of a sketchy bar feel. read more

Food was good service was good. Loves my watermelon margarita with a kick. Nice place to go with family and friends

Christy and Amy took great care of us. The food is delicious. Have not has anything on the menu that wasn't delicious. Probably my favorite is the smoked brisket. The peanut butter pie is the best I've had and is I see it on a menu I order and the peanut butter pie here is the best. read more

Visiting from North Carolina, I saw this place and decided to try. Ordered the duck wings and they were too salty. I brought this to the managers attention and she offered to swap it out. I appreciated her swiftness getting this fixed quickly. We had the brisket and duck entrées and they were delicious. I was surprised at the price point but when I bit into that brisket I was like ok this is worth it. read more

My sister and I booked a weekend getaway to Hershey in early November. We arrived late Friday night (around 8:30pm) looking for an elevated experience to kick off our weekend, but not break the bank. The Mill was the perfect atmosphere. The menu has a lot of seafood on it. My sister is a big seafood eater, but I don't eat any. I ordered the filet tips with vegetables - incredible! The position was extremely generous for the price. Service was also super prompt so we didn't wait long at all for our meals. I finished the night off with the Apple Cider Bellini. If I could, I'd give this place a 3.5. 3 star food but 4 star service. We got two appetizers, bacon wrapped scallops and the arancini trio. Both were pretty good but nothing special. For our entrees we got the slow cooked brisket and the chicken rosemary franchaise. The brisket was good, but had too much sauce. The Mac and cheese was great though. The rosemary chicken had basil instead of rosemary in it, which was still good but nothing special. The waitress was super friendly and nice, and the place it self is super cool. All in all, it was pretty good but I probably wouldn't go back read more

This was our first experience at The Mill. The atmosphere was as you would expect from an old mill. The bacon appetizer was tasty but fatty, while the brussels sprouts appetizer was very good. The entree portions were generous and good enough but nothing innovative. Good use of flavors. Had peanut butter pie which was yummy. Overall a good American comfort food restaurant but no WOW moment. read more

Fabulous atmosphere & service! Went with a large party for a work function, our waiter Jared, handled the group effortlessly. We shared several appetizers, definitely recommend the lacquered bacon, coconut calamari, & shrimp quesadilla! The she crab soup was amazing also. NY strip was decent, scallops were done just right, & the house brisket was good. Their loaded potato is actually stuffed with the brisket, topped with cheese, & broiled - deelish! read more

My sisters and I planned a girls weekend to Hershey for my mom's 75th birthday. After doing our research, we decided on The Mill for our special Saturday night dinner. Over a month ago, we made a reservation for 4 people on the patio. When we arrived last night and gave our name, the host said "we have a high top table for you, is that OK?" I said "absolutely not, we reserved a 4 top on the patio and my 75 year old mother cannot sit at a high top table." He then said, well, we have a banquet on the patio tonight, so that is not an option." We then had to wait and were eventually seated at a booth in the "dungeon." No apologies were offered, nor did a manager ever come to talk to us to make THEIR mistake right. Our drinks were great and made us feel a bit better, but the food was mediocre. I ordered the brisket and was just not good. It was tough and hard to chew. I took about 2 bites and then just shared some of my sisters' food. When our server cleared our plates, she asked if I wanted the brisket wrapped up. I told her "no" and she never bothered to ask me if I didn't like it, or why there was so much left. I was a server for 20+ years, I would have definitely wanted to know why a customer barely touched their food. This place just really put a damper on our birthday celebration and we will not be returning. read more
