    Patty melt burger with fries

Pretty decent food spot for being in a state park. This place also has a nice view of the river. It's a great lunch spot after hiking as they have numerous food options. Service was good. We went around 2pm on a Saturday. We ordered the crispy chicken ceasar wrap which was pretty good along with the Mac n cheese which I do not recommend. It was extremely watery. The patty melt and French fries were also good.

Our breakfast was delicious! It was nice to have breakfast then hit the trails. We had eggs, sausage, avocado toast, and fruit.

Really poor service and food. Waited forever and the pancakes were literally as thin as a sheet of post. ‍

Great food and presentations, view and access to River is amazing. They were short on staff but they did their best with a smile!

The breakfast burrito was a great way to start the day. Can't wait to come back and try the lobster ravioli for dinner.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the line the appetizer never got put in, so we didn't receive the boudin egg rolls at all. That was a miss, especially since that's something we were looking forward to trying. That said, the burgers absolutely made up for it. Both were cooked right and had great flavor. Solid, well-done burgers that hit the mark. No complaints there. We also grabbed a blueberry cheesecake to go, which turned out to be a great call. It was rich, flavorful, and a good way to finish things off. Service hiccup aside, the food quality, at least on the burgers and dessert, was strong. Worth stopping in, just keep an eye on your order.

The overall look and cleanness of the place was great. Just wish that the food and service were better. The blackberry cider was amazing. Update to previous review: came here a second time because it was the only thing open late. Let me tell you the second time impressed me. The service was great today and the food was amazing. We did the build your own burger and it was so good and flavorful!!! Burger came with fries which is a plus. Ranch is still amazing and blackberry cider is just as good as the night before. Tonight we got the Cesar salad and it was also very good. If I could, I would give it a 4.5 stars!!!

Right off the bat, their draft beer machine wasn't working, so we stuck with water and a soda. After being seated, there was a noticeable delay before our waitress came back. She explained she was dealing with an issue on another customer's credit card, which slowed things down. We started with the fried pickles. They were very good. Crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked right, but the portion felt a little light for an appetizer. For the main, we shared the Oklahoma country fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. That was the highlight. The steak had a solid crust with good flavor, and everything on the plate was done right. No complaints there. Overall, the food was strong, especially the country fried steak, but the service and the draft beer situation held it back some. If they tighten that up, it'd be a much better experience.

We dined here on 2/27/26…read more I had a blueberry lemon drop (custom, it wasn't on the menu), and my husband had a blueberry lemonade. The drinks were okay and very average - it wouldn't keep us away or bring us back! As an appetizer, we had the fried Swiss cheese. It was definitely different and interesting in comparison to your mozzarella, but it was cool to try! I wouldn't reorder. My husband had a 8oz. Sirloin with a side of corn and I had the chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders were delicious, but the frozen crinkle cut fries dampened the whole meal - for almost $20 for chicken tenders, I would've loved some house made or hand battered fries! The rolls with each meal were good, but could've used some butter! The steak was well cooked and the corn had good flavor! Everything was mediocre overall, we would likely come back on account of the chicken tenders, but wouldn't run back for anything else.
