The portion sizes were generous and we thought that the staff was extremely friendly. We got the hummus with kafta (which is ground beef on a kebab), we also got a falafel sandwich, the Mediterranean salad and chicken shawarma over rice. My Arabic husband will only eat his mothers falafel, but he said that the falafel sandwich at Levant Kitchen was a very close second. That is quite a compliment! Very good food! This spot is similar to pita way style but 10x better. You can build a bowl over rice, lettuce or hummus and the portions are HUGE. Their leavant sauce came on the side and its a dill- flavored dressing, highly recommended! The chicken shawarma meat is so tender and the service is great. It's been a hot minute since I ordered a chicken shawarma. The Levantine Kitchen shawarma the Levant way did not disappoint! It was massive. By far the biggest shawarma I've found locally for the best price. It was stuffed with delicious chicken with an amazing Levant sauce on the side. I ordered and it was done within a few minutes. Solid new Arabic restaurant that my friends had me try when I was in town. Dishes are more in the realm of fast food Arabic, but for the price and portions I'm not mad at all. 1) First the food is delicious. We got the fried cauliflower wrap, and a side of the garlic paste and spicy hummus (with pita bread). The portions are really generous, but it was all we could do not to eat all of it because it was so tasty. 2) The service was incredible. When we went in to order, we were asked if we had been there before. When we said "no," the worker told us the best sellers and then was happy to answer any questions we had. 3) As an added bonus, I accidentally left my purse at the restaurant, and they secured it, tried to call me by looking up my phone number on my order number, and were good-humored about it when I returned to pick it up. The guy who greeted us and made our food was very friendly and recommended the Chicken Shawarma so we both got it in a rice bowl. Couldn't have picked better! The flavors were hitting and the meat was nice & perfectly tender, complemented well by the Levant sauce! The portion size is large for such a reasonable price. I've lived in Canton for the better part of my life. I've tried everything in the area as well as had some amazing meals the Detroit area has to offer. Nothing makes me feel better than having a meal from Levant. Every single time I order from here I'm reminded why I don't order this style of food from anywhere else. I could mention specific items, but everything is good. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. They're attentive and expeditious as well. The space inside is cozy and reminiscent of a takeout space but don't let it distract you from the quality. I wish these guys had a full restaurant because they know what they're doing. Thankfully, there is no conspiracy at the Levant Kitchen. Food: really really good. The chicken shawarma had a perfect grilled taste/texture and flavoring. Portion: way more than enough. Price: totally reasonable, on the cheaper side. Service/friendliness: friendly and unpretentious, the kind of guys you would want to hang out with. We stopped by at closing time one day and they gave us 3 free pieces of baklava (no guarantees on how much of a regular occurrence this is, but no matter). Absolutely love this place. Right before Covid started we moved to the area from Dearborn. While it's not too far of a drive, everything just seems further/not worth it if you're trying to distance during a pandemic, and so I was craving Dearborn quality Middle Eastern food within a five minute drive. Enter Levant. It's a little different compared to the standard fare you get in Dearborn but still amazing. My go to is a spicy chicken rice bowl with Levant sauce and garlic sauce, but really anything off the menu is delicious. I also love their fries, seems as though they're fresh cut and made, not frozen. As of right now they are carry out only, the guys working are always in masks and they place your order on a table and pay with a credit card chip reader placed on the same table so distancing rules are being followed pretty well here. I have been back pretty much weekly ever since I first tried it, and I don't see that stopping any time soon. read more

Realized I've ordered or been here at least 5 times in the last month or so but forgot to actually write this review. This place is awesome! The chef/owner is from NYC and brings a different flair to the typical middle Eastern food. It's still a huge portion, but it is a bit l different, and I really like it. All the meat bowls are great, tons of side veggies and delicious toppings. The spicy falafel actually has the spice inside (it's his own design of serrano and jalapenos). Really flavorful, you can build your own wraps, and the spicy green sauce ... if you like heat, get it! It adds a lot of heat but is also really fresh tasting. The staff are so attentive and friendly. I usually order a salad and my boyfriend usually orders a wrap. It's always so fresh, tasty and very good volume for what we pay for. I also like the fried cauliflower, which is absolutely a killer. The dining space is a little small and because of that, it could be a little warm on a hot summer day but usually we are able to sit down without any wait and the food and good service is with tolerating the little high temperature inside the restaurant. We LOVE Levant Kitchen. Their shawarma bowls are INSANE. So much food, especially if you get hummus as a base. I just tear apart the pita, mix up my bowl, and eat it as a dip. I love the Levant sauce, it's so refreshing and flavorful. The garlic sauce is S T R O N G. My hubby was not a fan. I get it on the side and add a very little bit to add some garlic flavor to my bowl. But you totally don't need it. The meat is delicious and the veggies are fresh! Amazing food! Portions are huge and they are creative and delicious! Shawarma wraps are large and stuffed. Their bowls offer endless combos of meat veggies and hummus/rice/salads. Add "little spicy" to your request and you shant be disappointed. We get the spicy levant sauce on the side its great for a little dip. One downer for me, I hate the pita bread. Its great for the wraps but for hummus I find that bread to always seem stale even when its not. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. It's a cozy Mediterranean sport with good food, great portions and large sizes. I typically order the chicken shawarma sandwich, which is a bit different from typical shawarma places in that they don't put the garlic spread on the sandwich, they also add veggies and it's very juicy. The juices run out of the sandwich. It all works. My other favorite is the chicken shawarma rice bowl. It's the sandwich over rice. It's huge and I typically get 2 meals from it. read more
