It was legitimately the best Mediterranean I have had in Metro Detroit, and it isn't even close. There's a reason this place has such amazing reviews. I wish Levant was closer to our house because this would become the only place we'd go for Mediterranean. Do not sleep on the Mediterranean Salad, it is packed with all the good stuff. It is so delicious. I always get extra dressing and levant sauce. Every bite is delicious! And the lentil soup is the best I've ever had, I devoured mine so fast. It is perfectly blended with just the right amount of seasoning. We ordered the Mediterranean Salad with Chicken Shawarma, Lentil Soup, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and Beef Shawarma Wrap. Every single item was full of flavor, super fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes were huge and the prices are extremely reasonable! What really stood out to me was how much my 5-year-old son loved it. He saw my brother eating the Beef Shawarma Wrap and asked for a bite... then ended up taking the whole wrap and devouring it! The selection and quality of Middle Eastern food are so good in this area. Levant Kitchen is in a small suite of a strip mall that seats less than 20 customers so most of the orders were for take-out. The menu was mainly wraps and bowls but wow, the serving sizes of the latter were huge for the price. If I had known I was getting this much food for my Beef Shawarma rice bowl, then I would have bypassed the small order of Tahini Cauliflower. The florets were lightly deep fried and then drizzled with tahini sauce. It was a unique item that I had not seen before. The bowl had a base of yellow basmati rice which was covered with lettuce, tomatoes, parsley, pickled cucumbers, pickled turnips, and sliced beef from the spit. A side of ranch dressing and garlic sauce were provided as dips for the salad and meat. The beef shawarma was well seasoned but not overly salty. I could not finish the dish after eating the cauliflower appetizer so I had to take half of it home with me. Levant Kitchen seems to be a great spot for an inexpensive, quick meal, however be prepared for leftovers because the quantity of food is significant. I enjoyed my experience and gave it a four star rating. read more

When I say run, don't walk, to Levant Kitchen...I mean it! This is a true hidden gem in Canton. This was a total accidental visit, but it's now on my list to return to time and time again. They serve up plenty of Mediterranean food with options for vegetarians and vegans. First I *have* to give a shout out the staff: they were some of the the most friendly, accommodating and wonderful people. They offered so many recommendations, told us what their most popular items are and they ensured that since one we both had dietary restrictions, that they could fix us something for each. We ordered a little bit of everything: - Hummus & pita - Lentil soup -- I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best lentil soups I've had. I'm *very* critical of my lentil soup but this hit the spot - Loaded fries -- this is what reeled me in to this place. Their loaded fries come with their homemade yogurt sauce, crisp seasoned fries, cucumbers, pickles, tomatoes, red onion, feta and they even put some falafel on it for me at no additional charge - Plate of falafel - this was supposed to be a snack size and I think there 8-10 falafels in that plate - amazing. Their falafel is very crisp on the outside, but soft and flavorful inside. It didn't sit in my stomach like a brick like a lot of falafel does. - Tahini and cauliflower - this is made vegan! - Homemade/house-made turnips - so crunchy and delicious The portions sizes were great, the prices were perfection and the food was delicious. I really wanted to love this place after seeing the great reviews and I'm hoping today was just may be an off day. I ordered from Uber Eats and everything arrived well packaged and the portions were great! The presentation was nice and the food was fresh but it just seemed to be lacking in flavor overall. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl with a base of half hummus and half lettuce and added some falafel. The portions were great, but the chicken was lacking in any type of flavor or seasoning so I was bummed about that but all the sauces I ordered helped. The falafel was sort of the opposite as it had too much seasoning that it was not my favorite. I also ordered a side of fries and the garlic spread. The fries were crispy and good but the garlic spread seem to be light in flavor as well. I also ordered the rice pudding which turned out pretty good, but sadly was missing the cinnamon. Overall, this is definitely a decent place to try. I will be ordering again and look forward to trying some other things and hopefully enjoying them a bit more! read more

First time here: Amazing Shawarma chicken wrap sandwiches. We got both a regular and a spicy chicken wrap. I really liked the Spicy Chicken- the taste was very close to adding a few tear drops of Siracha hot sauce per bite. The beef and chicken kabobs were also very tasty too. They were served in a small square takeout hamburger container on top of some salad mix. Very tender seasoned meats served with their garlic sauce on the side. The staff was super friendly and quick to prepare my order. They even asked follow-up questions to make sure I received a perfect taste profile! Picked up dinner for my mom and I here the other night and I forgot how HUGE their sandwiches are! I gave her her chicken shawarma sandwich and she she exclaimed "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" haha. Needless to say, we both had dinner for the next night, too. The shawarma is packed with flavorful, juicy meat, garlic sauce, crunchy pickles, and lettuce. Very very good. We also got an order of the hummus, garlic whip, fattoush, and french fries and everything was excellent. As I previously mentioned, it also held up great for the next day's dinner as well. Even the sandwich was still very good. I didn't reheat it since I didn't want everything to get too warm but it was still excellent cold. I tried to order online but just missed the cut off so I called my order in and they were more than accommodating. Order was always ready at the pick up time we were quoted. Ordered : Chicken Shawarma wrap and Chicken Kabob Wrap Both wraps tasted fresh with great combination of flavors. Levant is absolutely a must try carry out Meddi spot. We order a couple chicken Shawarma wraps and they were super flavorful and loaded with chicken, for only $10 total. We tried their Levant sauce to accompany the wraps and it will a wonderful dill sauce that added so much flavor. Wanted to try a new place and had seen some people recommend it in a Facebook group. Mom and I each got a chicken shawarma bowl with our own tweaks. She got baklava and I got grape leaves. Everything was delicious. I got mine a little spicy - and it was perfect. But would have too spicy for my mom. The portions, like others have said, are HUGE. Which I love because the flavors just mix well when it's in the fridge as leftovers. My 1 bowl I can probably get 2-3 meals out of easily.
