This place is by far my favorite Mediterranean food. It is family owned I believe! It has amazing service. There are limiting seatings but it also a great grab to go!! I love love their portions and just thinking about the food makes me hungry. I highly highly recommend!

Levant Kitchen was SO good! My friend recommended we go to this place because it had great reviews and it did not disappoint! The food was so flavorful and the portions are BIG. Two people could easily share one bowl together. They also give so much pita bread on the side for free! There is not much seating so you may have to wait to get a seat. It seemed like most people got take out. It definitely gives more takeout vibes with limited seating but highly recommend trying it out if you're around the area!

Levant Kitchen's shish tawook wrap was legit. A bit more expensive, but the portions were solid and the chicken was super flavorful. Worth it if you're hungry and want something fresh.

Do not sleep on the Mediterranean Salad, it is packed with all the good stuff. It is so delicious. I always get extra dressing and levant sauce. Every bite is delicious! And the lentil soup is the best I've ever had, I devoured mine so fast. It is perfectly blended with just the right amount of seasoning. So warming and comforting you wish you had ordered a larger size! So you might want to because you will want some the next day I promise you. Everything I order here is above and beyond delicious. The hummus is the best I've ever tasted and I tell everyone about it.

The selection and quality of Middle Eastern food are so good in this area. Levant Kitchen is in a small suite of a strip mall that seats less than 20 customers so most of the orders were for take-out. The menu was mainly wraps and bowls but wow, the serving sizes of the latter were huge for the price. If I had known I was getting this much food for my Beef Shawarma rice bowl, then I would have bypassed the small order of Tahini Cauliflower. The florets were lightly deep fried and then drizzled with tahini sauce. It was a unique item that I had not seen before. The bowl had a base of yellow basmati rice which was covered with lettuce, tomatoes, parsley, pickled cucumbers, pickled turnips, and sliced beef from the spit. A side of ranch dressing and garlic sauce were provided as dips for the salad and meat. The beef shawarma was well seasoned but not overly salty. I could not finish the dish after eating the cauliflower appetizer so I had to take half of it home with me. Levant Kitchen seems to be a great spot for an inexpensive, quick meal, however be prepared for leftovers because the quantity of food is significant. I enjoyed my experience and gave it a four star rating.

Clockwise: Tahini & cauliflower, falafel plate, hummus & pita, loaded fries + falafel, lentil soup!

Parking spaces were ample as the neighboring businesses weren't busy at all during this holiday week. The inside was not ornately decorated as some of the fancier places in the area that serve this type of cuisine. Between the booths and tables, my estimate was that the seating capacity was around 50 customers. The menu booklet contained several pages of offerings across the categories of appetizers, soups, salads, sides, wraps/subs, traditional dishes, and seafood/chops. For beverages, there were juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. My friends each chose a different type of wrap for their meal. I picked one of the entrees from the traditional dishes which was the Gallaba over Hummus. In my hometown, I don't see gallaba as often as items like shish kabobs and shawarma. My order consisted of a choice of meat (lamb was my pick) sauteed with green peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, and carrots with special spices added. The mixture was served on a bed of hummus with my choice of rice on the side. A cup of chicken rice soup (instead of lentil) also came with this traditional dish. While we were waiting for our food, a basket of warm pita bread and a cup of garlic spread were provided. The spread was very pungent so I used it sparingly. An extra dinner salad was mistakenly added which I saved for leftovers. The gallaba was essentially a Middle Eastern version of a meat stir fry. The pieces of lamb were tender and not gamey. The spices added flavor but not saltiness. Between the bread, soup, rice, and gallaba, it was a generous portion size that also became leftovers for later. For the quality and price of my meal, I gave a four star rating for our visit to The Sheikh Restaurant.

A few days ago, I tried ordering through DoorDash, but after my driver was turned away four different times and I waited over an hour, I finally canceled the order. I decided to give them another chance and picked it up myself today, hoping it was just a one-time issue. Unfortunately, the food quality and attention to detail were noticeably different from what I've always loved. The chicken shawarma lacked the bold, flavorful seasoning they're known for and was very light on the garlic. They also forgot the small container of garlic sauce they normally include. The hummus arrived plain--no drizzle of olive oil and no sprinkle of paprika, which has always been part of the presentation. Even the pickled turnips were a very pale pink instead of the vibrant, tangy pickles they've traditionally served. None of these things alone would have prompted a review, but together they make it feel like the quality and consistency have declined. As a long-time customer, that's really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite places in Canton. I truly hope this is just a temporary slip and not the new standard, because I'd love to see La Shisho return to the quality that made me a loyal customer for so many years.

My husband and I are both obsessed with the half deboned chicken (white meat only), with the classic lemon-oregano sauce. The chicken has a bit of a char, but is still juicy. The sauce is a perfect balance of garlicky and herby goodness, with the bright snap of lemon. It's delicious! The chicken comes with two sides. I usually get hummus as a side, along with the roasted vegetables. My husband always eats half my hummus, so I get some of his rice. All the sides are delicious, except I wish the roasted vegetables had fewer green peppers. I'm just not a fan of them. The service is always super friendly and attentive. Love La Marsa!
